Connie the owner showed us what she had and we were amazed at the size of them! We often purchase nice ones at one of the floral shops in Houston off Fannin but these blew away any that we have ever gotten and best of all they were inexpensive! In fact we were so impressed that my wife has gone back to Connie and hired her to do all the flowers for a large wedding we are doing in May. You cant go wrong with this place and the owner is as nice as can be.

The whole bouquet came out to around $15 pre-tax which is competitive with grocery store prices, but fresher and fun for the DIY aspect! We looked through the store and saw they have many plants available for purchase as well as pre-made bouquets and table arrangements, all reasonably priced. They need to get their pricing straight and honor their quoted prices. If I ever return, I will not purchase anything that doesn't have a price tag. Also, I don't like the moss they have in their orchids. I prefer the mulch-bark-style because it drains better and the orchids are happier in the mulch-bark-style.

Either way, no one gets back to you. The place itself is worn down, didn't have much of rentals as far as we could see. After two days of trying to give them our money, we gave up and went to another spot 4 miles up the road. They got us set up in minutes with delivery. Not sure if K6 is shut down for the season or just doesn't care- but either way, don't waste precious vacation time here. Do not recommend.

She also made an excuse as far as how I ordered late so they basically had to rush to make it and deliver it on time. The integrity of the design was compromised in their "rushing" process. I ordered through the funeral home website so the funeral home outsourced the job to these people. I made sure the option was still available to deliver the flowers to have the arrangement there on time. I said if it were a problem the option should not say "Can my order still be delivered - YES". She offered me 50% off my next order. Really?! Do you think I'm going to order from you again?! I was so upset with all of her excuses I just had to hang up. She ended up calling me back and said that the funeral home (not he flower shop) was going to give me a partial credit which basically equated to what I paid for all the service charges. Do yourself a favor and order from another local shop with better reviews.

She responded that she wasn't totally pleased with the yellows at the moment, but that the peach-colored roses looked outstanding. At that point I said "You're the expert; please just make me look good." And did she ever. Never mind that I called an hour later and asked to delay the delivery until a day later. And never mind that half of the streets were under water on delivery day. Blushing Blooms took great care in arranging a beautiful bouquet of just-cut flowers and buds, and brought it to the front door with a smile. I think I've found my forever florist.
