We had our front hallway walls and ceiling painted recently and paid $1,800 for this service. Two guys came by and painted for about 3-4 hours. After they left, we realized that was a sloppy / unprofessional job for the amount of money we paid for it - attaching pictures. He came back and had to touch up the mistakes. Special Finish painted the exterior of my house in August. Osvaldo answered all of my questions, suggested changes that could improve the look and the cost, and generally worked with us like he cared about the house as much as we do. They were on time and efficient, both for the power wash and the painting (painting completed in only one day). They protected plants, the deck, and other surfaces not being painted, they were not noisy, and they didn't leave a mess for us to clean up. Everyone on the crew was polite and professional. One lesson learned is that you really need an in-person assessment if you want an accurate estimate for this type of job. They offered either a site visit or an estimate based on photos, and I chose the photos thinking it would be roughly the same. When he got here to do the power washing, Osvaldo advised that a few things would cost more than the estimate, provided alternatives, and waited a couple of weeks for us to decide.
