I did business with this company a year ago and with the service I was given,you would have thought I was spending $1500 instead of $15! It took less time than they stated and the product came out just as I was told!I didn't have the design with me that day,so they looked it up on the computer for me,took a deposit and I was good to go! You SHOULD know what you are ordering when you go in and ask questions if you are unsure about the material,how it will last,etc...I would imagine that you can go on line and get it cheaper,as I have done,and also had much lesser quality,the sizing was wrong,and it fell apart the first time I wore it.I think it was $11.00 instead of $15.00...I would rather pay a bit more for a product and get great service,and turn around time than not know what I am getting...Wouldn't you? Bought some work shirts and put one on for the first time and got to work and noticed the sleeve was not stitched all the way. Called to tell them they said no problem we will order another one. Two hours later they call me back..can you come In to see if we can stitch it back up? Sure. I go there and she says I can stitch it up for you. ok great. Then with attitude tells me this isn't the shirt I just ordered. Because of two very faint stains. I said It is because I continued to wear it at work for the day. She says all these in one day rudely. Then asked for my name so she can call me back when it's finished. I asked her so your not doing it now? Oh no this has to be hand stitched she says. I said I can do it my self but thanks. Wow. Will never do business with them wasted my time. Just say no we won't back up are products because you used it for a day that's how we do business here. Don't waste my time driving back and forth. So if you have a big order that was not right. I'm sure they would do what ever it takes to get out of it. Special tees Kingston ma. I went to Special Tees about 6 months ago to purchase shirts for my business and spent $450 on my order. I am a single person business so $450 is a lot for me to spend on clothing but I wanted something professional and polished looking. I went back recently because the shirts have completely shrunk and are basically unusable - less than 6 months later. When I politely asked if there was anything they could do to help me or if I had any recourse, the lady basically said "No. What do you expect? They're cotton". What I would have expected is to be told that my "work shirts" will likely shrink and for them to recommend a fabric that could stand up to the wear and tear that work shirts will encounter. We are not talking about a jacket or a hat or something that isn't washed often, I ordered work shirts - they need to be durable. The ironic thing is that I have babied these shirts and I don't even put them in the dryer because I try to preserve the color but they still shrank. My last order of shirts lasted 3 years because the staff at that place helped me to pick a product that would meet my needs. I should have gone back there. I don't expect the staff at Special Tees to hold my hand but when I go to a store and ask for advice on products and end up getting a product that is basically unusable after 6 months I don't think that's very good customer service. I don't know the product line like the staff do and I would have hoped that they would have recommended a product that they knew would stand up to the job. I know I'm only one small order to them but I won't go back again. read more
