We want to thank our auto glass tech, Michael Harvey with Specialized Auto Glass whose company actually had the back window for our 1999 Nissan Pathfinder - a large tree branch fell on the window and broke it along with the air deflector and one of the hinges that held the glass. Due to the age of the vehicle we eliminated the deflector and got new hinges based on Michael's experience in getting the glass installed without it breaking. He was very knowledgeable and quick at taking care of this situation during our monsoon in AZ. We are so impressed by Michael's willingness to help us take care of this quickly to help resolve the older car issues. We were really happy with Specialized Auto Glass and their service after a failure with the other major auto glass company that our insurance wanted us to use. Our car has Eyesight so it needs the glass changed and then the computer needs to be reprogrammed. They were able to coordinate the glass and the computer system appointments so smoothly, like a well oiled machine. It really made it low stress for a mama that has school pick up. We opted to use insurance for our latest repair but we found their out of pocket pricing to be affordable also. We are always just calling this place first from now on. read more

Top notch service from the start. I chose Specialized as a recommendation from my Porsche dealer. I'm very particular about any service to my car another local dealer changes windshield in house but I wanted a specialist. Marilyn handled all insurance claims over the phone on a party call so everything was prequalified. I only wanted OEM glass installed and that was no problem. I want to first mention that the last time Clint worked on my cars was in 2004 only because I moved out of the State, but I would be surprised if the quality of his work has changed in the past 10 years. Before meeting Clint, and way before the days of Yelp, I relied on the insurance companies recommendations and the work performed was mediocre. They would use these big companies that would send boys that were getting paid a bit over minimum wage, and had jobs as bussers in restaurants at night. Work had to be redone, moldings never fit right again, etc. Then I called a high end car dealer in Scottsdale who said they only use Clint. For the next 10 years or so, he replaced 4-5 windshields on my Nissans & Mercedes, as well as a couple of repairs. The Mercedes windshields were very complex--had water sensors built in, auto dimming rear view mirrors, etc. The work he did was perfection. He was reliable, focused, and neat. Unlike the boys the insurance companies send you, this was a full-time business for him and his family, and he was very successful at it. I wish that I knew someone in the Los Angeles area, or even Southern California that had the skill and I could trust as much as Clint. There have been times I was thinking of driving back to Scottsdale if I needed a Windshield replaced. Interestingly, while my Windshields would crack and damage all the time on Arizona roads, I have never had a need for a windshield repair or replacement in the 10+ years on California roads. Clint, the owner of the company and his son, Jake came and replaced the windshield on the Mercedes at my home and the install was done perfectly. This has been the second windshield I have had installed by these guys once on my IS 250 and one on my Accord and they are the best of the best. After having had anything from leaks/air noise to scratched panels and broken trim from prior installs from the big chain company's, I've learned to stick with these guys now. The quality of repair and replacement to my car glass is worth more then any of the other "pay you to change your glass" or "car wash" guys.
