I forgot about it til the 26th of May. Went to pick it up and realized I'd totally forgotten to pick out a font. Well, they picked one out for me that totally matched the knife. They did a great job, engraving looks like it came that way. Would recommend. If I ever find myself in need of custom engraving, this is where I'd go. Just be advised it's off a service road, and there isn't much parking.

Not only does he create plaques but he makes amazing shadow boxes and other momentos which I have seen featured at a few retirements this summer. Amazing work, perfect for any military celebration. He worked within our event budget. He has a website but I highly recommend going in person to design your item. He sent proofs via email on days I could be there to look them over. I was so impressed that I am planning to design a few personal items. You can call and schedule and appointment or walk in. He offers a variety of military services including ribbon racks. Stumbling upon Trophy Magic was fantastic.  They (or actually "she". Angela describes it as "A mom…read moreand pop, without the pop") are one of the only places in town that will actually do laser etching on YOUR items instead of just the cheap off-the-shelf tchotchkes that most places will etch and sell you at an inflated price.  Her shop is also one of the only ones in town with Saturday hours, though they are limited (9-Noon).  That is such a lifesaver for me, and I am sure many others who have day jobs. She was very friendly and extremely accommodating.  I brought her an anodized aluminum ECU enclosure and my own logo, and the final product was better than I had ever expected.  The pricing is absurdly affordable (I almost felt bad paying as little as I did after all the collaborating, testing, and time she put into it).   I would recommend Trophy Magic and Angela, the owner, to anyone!  She also runs the store next door that does glass etching, though I have not had her etch any glass for me yet.  Seriously, this is one of the best "hidden" places in Jacksonville that I have ever found. It was a serious chore trying to find a laser etching shop that was willing to work on something I brought in myself, and I could not be happier with the results.  I hope the shop is around for many years to come.  She offers a service that is nearly absent in Jax, and at an unbeatable price with friendly service!

I dropped my son's backpacks, lunchboxes, and polos to be embroidered with the school logo on 7/16. With previous experience working in an embroidery shop, this process seemed very rushed and not personal at all. Tell them your name, pick between a block or cursive font, and color choice. Didn't ask me about placement, how big I wanted the name, etc. I was told 2-3 weeks turnaround time and that they would call me when it was done. I knew I had plenty of time before the start of school on 8/10. Yesterday was the end of the 3 week mark and I called to get an ETA on when it would be done. The man that answered the phone asked for my information and then came back to tell me it was not ready. I questioned why as this was at the end of the quoted timeframe. He then went into telling me that they embroider for 5 schools and everyone wants their order ready. What does this have to do with me? He also made a sly mark about people waiting until the last minute, which I did not given 2-3 weeks turnaround time would be ready before school. He was incredibly rude, with a smart tone and wouldn't give me any answers. He just kept repeating "we will call you when your order is ready." I asked him if I should call again tomorrow and his response was "no, do not call tomorrow" in a horrible tone. I then asked him if he could look up when I dropped it off, he placed me on hold and after 10 minutes I called back. Seems like he just wanted to get rid of me. A girl answered the phone the 2nd time and was able to tell me it wouldn't be done today, but would be the following day. This is all I was needing was an understanding of when my order would be ready, not to wait for a call!!! I get that they are stressed during a busy season, however as someone who is going off of what I was told and spend $140 I would expect a much higher level of customer service. My husband just picked up the order and the font on the backpack and lunchboxes are LAUGHABLE!!! They are so small, and not at all where I told them to place the names. You can barely see them over the graphics and I pointed to much bigger font size on the paper sheet. The backpack was marked with a piece of tape (not a white pencil) so I'm sure it was ripped off. I'm so very disappointed in this experience and the quality of my order after spending so much money. I've received better from the mall embroiderers! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
