I told them that I bought the rug from them bound and I expected them to deal with it. How am I going to get a rug that size to the binder? Their offer was to pick it up but that they would have to charge me $120 to do so. I always tell others when I have a good experience with a company. The $49.00 had me deciding not to do business with them again. This experience has me motivated to tell everyone I can about Variety's idea of standing behind their products and taking care of their customers. There are plenty of other companies out there. Very disappointed with Spring Construction and the owner, George Hutchinson. I contracted them to…read morereplace part of a wall due to a leak. I was told it would take 3-5 days to complete. It was completed in less than 5 hours by 2 men (and this included their lunch break). Once some of the siding was off, you could see that the wood discoloration was not as high as expected so they didn't need to remove all the siding or reseal the window, both of which were on the bid of $2,850. They did replace a small part of the wall that was rotting and after they finished, John Hutchinson told me there was no leak, most likely water had built up in the wall and they had taken care of it. They did not take care of the leak, as I saw fresh water after they "fixed" the problem. Because Spring Construction was unable to find the leak, I contacted another contractor and he was able to properly fix the leak. After that, I spoke with George to see if I could have some of the cost refunded. He was only willing to refund $100. That was not acceptable to me. He informed me that their last 3 jobs were underbid and they did not go back to the homeowner for the additional costs. I felt he was indicating that it was my responsibility to make up the difference because of their overbid on my property, I was told that the bid was the cost. During the call, George constantly interrupted me, called my handyman (who looked at the problem originally) an idiot and hung up on me. Horrible customer service, especially from an owner, and I question their honesty because they expect me to pay for services they did not perform and materials I did not receive.

The 150-lb slab was nearly 3" thick, 100" long, 30" wide, rough saw cut with bark still attached on both edges. The oak was nearly 100-years old when cleared. Couldn't say no out of respect for my wife and that beautiful old oak. I've been building the live edge table from web pics and YouTube videos for months now. Needed a custom cut piece of glass to finish my labor of love. Was referred to AJ, owner/operator of Beachside Glass, by a neighbor. The glass was beautifully cut, finished, delivered and installed. Price was very reasonable. I am so grateful for the care and pride AJ, Beachside Glass and Mirror, showed in putting the finishing touches on our newest and oldest addition to our home in Hilton Head. Despite his acknowledgement of the damage done to our sub flooding and his promises to fix , it remains damaged. The installer tried to fix it the day of the installation, unsuccessfully and still installed the carpet over the damaged flooring! The installer acknowledged the damage, but could not explain,, when asked , why he completed the installation! The issue is serious and Mr. Shaheen's numerous promises to " send his carpenters out to fix it" are empty. It has been weeks since we last heard from him. Our emails continue to him are ignored!
