We reserved our truck a month in advance but when we got to the location, they did not have a…read moreone-way truck available even though our reservation was clear. We even called the store the Friday before our scheduled Monday pick-up and was told everything was set to go. When we got to the location, we were helped by the area manager, Troy, who was rude and condescending. He informed us that someone had called us the prior day to let us know but we were traveling and did not get the message. We told him that we needed the truck as we had movers scheduled, checked out of our hotel and had returned our car rental. He started to look for us a truck at another location that was on Basse and proceeded to tell us that their location we had reserved for, had a truck available for us but because we did not return their call, they gave the truck to someone else. I don't understand why they would give away the truck as we had a reservation. He then started reading off the time the message was left and what they had said in a tone that was snarky and out of line. He was so rude, one of his employees kept mouthing that she was sorry from behind his back. Another employee started to speak up to assist us and he told them to stop. I asked him to stop and just keep it professional and he shushed us and walked away saying we could just call the 800 number and find a replacement ourselves. Another employee spoke up and said she found one for us a few miles away on Austin Highway. He finally turned around and got back on his computer and made our reservation at the Austin Highway location. The lack of customer service on his part was certainly shameful but his attitude, demeanor, tone, behavior and actions are downright horrendous . It is pretty bad when a store employee silently apologizes for an area manager's behavior. I would not trust going here, or anywhere, Troy is an area manager for. On a good note, however, Roz, Tony and Jazmine at the Naco-Perrin location were awesome and the entire crew at the Austin Highway location were top notch.
