Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I will complete my review tomorrow It is tomorrow William and team got it done. Very happy with every aspect and the final bill came in under the estimate. I can't say enough good stuff here. I spoke directly with Danny. The interaction was not courteous, and I was told I would receive a callback with pricing and service timing after he spoke with his technician. I waited. After about an hour passed with no return call, I called back thinking I might have missed it. He again stated he had not yet spoken with the technician but promised to call me back. That call never came. I understand that small businesses get busy. What's not acceptable is telling a customer multiple times that you'll follow up and then not doing so. Clear communication is basic customer service. Before posting this, I took a moment to read other reviews, and it appears there may be a pattern of similar complaints about follow-ups and communication. That's concerning because reliability and responsiveness are critical when you're calling a locksmith. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions. Good technical work doesn't outweigh poor communication. If you can't take a job, just be upfront -- people plan their time around these calls.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I contacted Hi-Tech. I spoke with Juan, who invited me to bring in the car for inspection. The next day, Juan quickly confirmed the Amplifier issue and offered to fix it immediately. In just 60 minutes, Juan resolved the problem, and the repair cost was only $400.00. Juan is the best out there if your car has electrical problems. I have a new friend.

The first project was a classic Turner-made desk mic that came with some vintage 11M gear I was gifted from a family friend. That repair didn't do as well as planned as the mic element was bad and simply was irreplaceable (NOS elements just not found anywhere!) However, Bill W. (owner/proprietor) and one of his techs, "RP", gave it their best. It's back home now but still doesn't work. Rats. Once that microphone arrived home I then entrusted the reconditioning of my classic Palomar 90a 40/20/15/10 meter 'blue face' linear amplifier to Bill and his team and sent that off to Gainesville last month. I requested that they perform a complete operational check on the amp, as well as optimize it for 10M operation, including installing a small 12v fan to cool the two sweep tubes and replace any dead capacitors and resistors. Bill and RP did just that and returned the amp in record time! Yes, it was pricey, but I now have a classic, high-performing, and stable amplifier for my ham radio equipment that will likely last the rest of my life! Five Stars for good customer service, excellent technical work, and a fast turnaround.
