I have to start out by saying I'm claustrophobic and have an anxiety disorder when put in tight spaces. This facility had available appointments sooner than most others I reached out to where I needed a wide-bore MRI (open at the end of the tube so its technically a closed one). The technician David was one of the best I have ever had work with me. It's only because of his sympathy and kindness that I was able to get through this very needed MRI my liver specialist needed me to get done. I postponed it for 6 months cuz that's how much I hate doing closed MRI's. David showed a level of patience that is not common in all medical settings. Hats off to him for not giving up on someone like me. He talked me through it and again was so patient with the fact that I was having such a hard time starting it and staying in the machine. I couldn't have asked for a nicer person to help me. The invoice and results took a bit longer than expected but I think it's because they were having issues with the internet and equipment. I'm not sure. I had to call to remind them to send my doctor the images and for some reason they sent the cd's but not the actual written report. That was strange. But they at least emailed me the report after I called and asked for it and I finally got an invoice to submit to my insurance after I emailed them asking for that too. Even with those smal annoyingl details I'd still use them again for any MRI tests I'd need to get done in the future (hopefully Ii dont need them). So I'd highly recommend them. read more

I was very happy with the experience here. They got me in right away, and were very professional. I was happy they had an open air mri, and the technician made me feel comfortable. The girl at the front desk had my disc and paperwork ready for me when I walked out. Appt was at 9pm... great that they were open so late so I was able to get my mri done quickly! read more

They were prompt in getting my mom an MRI for her back as well as the results. Easy to find, get in and out of, and office staff friendly and professional. They do stem cell injections here which is not FDA approved and I do feel some people who work there might try to push it on you/suggest it, which makes me a little leery---but perhaps this alternative medicine can help miracles for some. I would give 4.5 stars only because the MRI results came I think 1 day later than initially promised and I had to call/visit a few times to check in, but office staff made it happen. read more

This place helped me tremendously! First time I went in after an accident I was at a low point with concussion symptoms. I was seen next day! The staff were professional and friendly. I've been going for treatments here for 2 years now. I could definitely see the improvements in my body. Very knowledgeable. Very forthcoming about price. The treatments that they are doing are groundbreaking. They are about a decade ahead, at least 5 Yrs, of USC Keck in stem cell research. The good stuff isn't cheap so I always make room on my credit card. When I did a cost analysis of insurance monthly charges out of my check plus out of pocket fees vs. spectrum charges......it's LESS! And it won't hurt you. I love the staff. I hurt my ankle playing basketball on a Wednesday night and called them the next morning to see if I could get an X-Ray. They were able to fit me in later that afternoon which was super convenient. Everyone I encountered at the office was nice and very helpful! I got my X-Rays results back quicker than they told me and it was a very seamless experience overall! read more

After I got into my car accident and my attorney referred me here, it was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and the MRI tech took really good care of me and sat me down telling me what kind of treatment to expect moving forward. Not sure why this place received bad ratings. I set up my appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The staff and technicians were great. I got to listen to music of my choice during the MRI. Plus,The quality of these MRI scans are above any other. If you really want a proper diagnosis of whats going on in your body. They have one of the most advanced MRI'S I have personally seen. Check out some of your scans compared to theirs, it's pretty amazing seeing their quality of work. read more

This place is top of the line. I've been here twice within two weeks for an injury I have. Let's start with the front desk girls. SO, So nice! They offer you coffee and even plugged in my phone so I could find my way back home from Chino as I live in Rosemead and had no idea how to get home. They get the job done. My second visit was for an MRI. The Dr. who did my MRI was amazing. He actually sat me down to look at the photos and explained everything in detail, and what my options were to fix my problem. Somedays are super busy and there may be a bit of a wait, but they make you feel very comfy in the lobby until your name is called. Exce;;ent parking and the office is clean and beautiful. Called this center right after my injury. They have great availability and we're able to see me at my earliest convenience. The service throughout the entire process was hospitable. Made an appointment at the last minute was able to get an appointment the same date! The waiting time was no more than five minutes and the paper work to fill out was fast and simple. Staff at Spectrum MRI are wonderful. This is how healthcare should BE! I have done a MRI at a hospital before and the technician and staff were not friendly and cold...and didn't deal with my claustrophobic issues. You can have an adult family member or best friend sit in the scan room with you for moral support. I had a head MRI with contrast, and the tech was very informative and gentle. I have recommended Spectrum to my mother, in-laws and friends. And for those old fashioned, Spectrum can produce "films" of your scans as well. I hope I don't ever need an MRI in my lifetime, again, but if I do, I would go to Spectrum in a heartbeat. read more

Wish I could give a 0, this place ripped me off! Went for an mri with contrast the idiot couldn't get the iv needle so I had to return. The first mri was 90 percent done so I had to return to complete. Got my bill they billed insurance for 2 complete mri so I had to pay my deductible twice I went in person and argued with them. This is why medical cost is out of control here companies like this charge whatever and they get away with it. So keep my money obviously you need it more than me! read more

My mother was forced to wait 4 hours.. Even though she showed up an 1h 30 Minutes early. I understand workers comp is extremely political and a money grab for the doctors involved but this place is garbage! This place is terrible. Cancelled appointment at the very last minute which caused a huge snowball of other cancellations. This was after they moved a previous appointment which caused a previous issue with other doctors. Do not use this facility. They cannot be trusted. read more

Excellent personal service. Doctor made an exception and did an MRI on my back and neck on a Saturday AM because that was the only time I can come in (Dialysis during M_W_F & other doctor's appt on T_TH). They also do X-rays, CT Scan, Ultrasound. When the doctor saw me arriving in a taxi, he volunteered to drive me home and be picked up with my next appointment. Dr Isaac has a great personality and a charming demeanor. The office is also spacious and tastefully decorated. It is also next to a great selection of eateries! Compared to other medical offices Ive been to, this is way, way excellent! read more

Very upset, called in to set up appointment and checked if they were in network with insurance, they advised yes. Now a month later I check with my insurance about the claim and they advised they are not in network. I called spectrum again and they still advised me they are in network. When I confront the receptionist about my insurance claiming they are not she double checks and sure enough they are not. How unprofessional and a waist of money. So upset. read more

We were able to get my son a next day appointment but we were not told that the radiologist is not on site. He had his MRI on Wednesday and have been told we will not have the results until Monday. Be sure to find out if the radiologist will be onsite the day of your appointment or you may have to wait forever to get your results. . The 3 stars are for the people who work there who we're nice, but I would not have taken him to this facility had I known it would take this long to get the radiologist to submit a report. Had the x Ray a week ago and one week later when I called to have the record transferred to the doctor, they said the record is not ready. Inefficient. To them an extra day may not seem so important, but to a patient who is suffering from pain is a lot. Very disappointed. read more

The doctor who runs this place does not understand the policies and protocol of his agreements with Insurance companies. When I arrived for my MRI, I was asked for my copay. A few weeks later I received a bill for more than I had already paid. Not only had they not applied my payment, they refused to refund the difference. I spoke to the doctor, who told me that Insurance companies lie to people like me and that he was doing me a favor by not billing me for the additional amount not paid for by my insurance. He refused to refund my over payment. Per his office personnel, he does this to all his patients and they have stacks of files on their desks and receive a ton of calls all the time from patients asking for their money back. In addition, he has now billed me for the discounted amount not paid by my insurance company. He is dishonest and unwilling to play by the rules of the agreement he has with insurance providers. If you must go, call your insurance company first and confirm your co-pay amount because if you don't, you will be over charged and will not get your money back. read more
