It is truly a wonderful place. I recently was diagnosed with a mass in my brain. Over the past month, I have had a CT scan revealing it. They went back one week later and had an MRI with contrast, which showed only the one mass near my cerebellum, no other spots. The good news was that it's in a good spot for a somewhat simple removal. Then, I had to go back for a 3rd set of scans using CT contrast on pelvis, abdomen, and lungs to check for cancer. Good news again, all clear, no cancer! Making appointments was super easy with their team, and they are very well organized and professional, and imo the main thing, kind. They gave me a CD with the images for each scan after the tests and sent over the reports to my neurologist within about 2 hours. My doctor called me instantly to go over the results. One last thing I am terrified of needles, so I was afraid of the IV PROCESS and butterfly needle with contrast as well. Both people who administered the contrast were amazing and gentle, and my experience was great. I highly recommend this facility. So, from a major scare to possibly now a small operation, I am feeling a lot less stressed. read more

I have had to come here for x-rays, ultrasounds, and an MRI. Each time I have been here, I have been greeted by the front desk in a friendly way, which is always very much appreciated. My visit today was for an ultrasound. Yesenia was very, very kind, gentle and professional. If you need to come here for one of the services pay attention to this sign, one way is for ultrasounds and another door closer to the street is for CAT scans and x-rays etc.. The facility has always been clean. The bathrooms are well-stocked and clean. The gowns they give you are clearly washed. I definitely recommend this location if you are in need. read more

Arrived and front office staff is friendly. I came for a CT scan. The tech was very friendly. She was very detailed on what was going to happened. The only thing is she had to do two tries to finally get access for the contrast injection. The first attempt was infiltrated and cause a bruise. read more

So I have to say the people here are pretty nice and helpful. The wait times aren't very long for X-rays but mri's might take a little longer to get in. The reason why I gave it three stars is because I drove all the way there to get an x-ray after getting off of work just to find out that they're already closed. You know when you are so busy and you plan out your schedule just right to get all of your health stuff taken care of without getting stressed ? Well that didn't work out too well. I would recommend updating the hours on the website and on Google as they both say that they don't close until 6 PM. Super bummer! (Btw they close at 5pm) I would still recommend them, but will change my review when the times get fixed. read more

Wow so after giving a nice review I get 1000$ bill. It would be nice to let me know my insurance won't cover. I mean u did get my information two weeks advance. According to the billing office it's my responsibility to check for that. I've never had to deal with this issue ever. Most places would let me know my insurance won't cover or I'm out of network. I guess now offices need money too. Please be aware to make sure you're covered because this place won't let you know. read more

Last week I had a CT scan. I just wanted to thank Antoinette I believe was her name. She made me feel at ease. She didn't know this but I had a son pass away from a brain tumor years back and I have been nervous with anything that had to do with my head. She was so patient and kind with her words. I work in a hospital myself and sometimes people are just so quickly to get you in and out. I just wanted to thank her for being so great... also even as she did the contrast poke with the needle left no bruising which is very unusual for me. I hope you are recognized for how great you are. I've only been here for an ultrasound but all the people, whether it be the receptionist, the techs and the people answering the phones (probably one of the receptionists) were all very nice, professional and competent. Why do I feel the need to write a review at somewhere that's not a food place? Because I've been to many different doctor offices, facilities and I know how many of the incompetent employees, health professionals are out there. CDI is necessarily a heavenly imaging facility but it's one (as far as I've experienced) that won't give you a raging headache and a few popping vanes just to even think about calling them. This Imaging center is one of the few rare ones where I actually Didn't feel like tearing my hair out by the end or punching out all the employees there. The ultrasound images, from what I recall, were of good quality, I can't say for the rest of the imaging services though. read more

I had a great experience with Emanate. They were easy to schedule with, got insurance approval very quickly, and the office was punctual.

This would otherwise be a 5-star review except the x-ray technician was not wearing a mask. 1-star for that fact alone. I came in the afternoon for an x-ray. The tech was otherwise fantastic, friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. The X-ray was super fast & efficient. I was in & out quickly. It took longer to check in & get my insurance information processed. The front desk had plexiglass dividers. There were 5 seats spaced 6' apart. There were markers on the floor indicating 6' distancing. The front desk assistant was masked, very pleasant, and helpful. I honestly can't say enough good things about this facility - except the lack of mask by the x-ray technician. Very disappointed. This is a place were people come for medical imaging & likely have compromised immune systems. We're still in a global pandemic. Parts of the country & the world are shutting down for the third time due to surges. Sure California is doing great, but the Covid 19 doesn't stop at borders. Grandparents, family member, friends, and loved ones are dying. Absolutely abhorrent and irresponsible not to wear a mask by any member of the staff at a medical facility, or anywhere for that matter. I haven't really gone out for the last year, I get my groceries delivered, work from home, and Zoom all meetings. It simply didn't register at the time to mention anything to the x-ray tech because I honestly don't really go out in public due to the pandemic. I confirmed with another family member who was with me at the time that the tech wasn't wearing a mask to make sure I was remembering things right. Likewise, it didn't occur to them to say anything at the time either. I really wish I thought to mention something to him at the time. read more

I had my ultrasound and thyroid biopsy done here. Everyone that I have spoken to here has been very friendly, professional and helpful. The receptionist greets you with a smile as soon as soon as you walk through the door. My biopsy was preformed by Dr. James Le and his technician Denise. They were both great! They explained step by step what was being done, which put me at ease. I felt little to no pain throughout the procedure. I was even able to look at the monitor during the procedure. Two thumbs up for these two! Wouldn't mind coming back here if I need any future follow ups. read more

I was at this location on December 7th and also on the 8th the X-ray technician which took the images of my foot and ankle was Alfred Albert Lopez he was so gentle and so professional. I was concerned about my injury and asked him question's but as he said he was not allowed to answer these questions continued by saying my Doctor would be able to give me clear information. He advised me to stay off my feet and elevated my leg as, my doctor had instructed as well. Alfred was kind to suggest using Google giving me key words to use to get some information and to see images of a healthy ankle versus an injured one getting my information and knowledge concerning my injury this was such a comfort. This technician went this extra step I was so thankful for a good experience with such knowledgeable technician. The young girl at the front office was also very understanding of my injury and actually brought the paperwork to me as to not walk on my injured foot. it's nice to know there are caring and professional people that make a business a five stat experienc. read more

I was there for an MRI of my head today. I was fairly nervous when I got there since it was my first time. My tech was Nelson and he was amazing. He explained everything to me and made me feel super comfortable. He was also really gentle with the contrast injection. I barely felt it! The office was super clean, and updated. Not thrilled by the lack of bedside manner with this establishment. My review is a reflection of my attempt to schedule a procedure not on the actual procedures provided. I was given a choice to try this CDI over my usual radiology office and felt like taking a risk. I called wanting to schedule an appointment for a medical procedure and dealt with 2 argumentative female employees. To both employees, I explained my need for said procedure. Both employees argued with what my doctors orders requested and I was told that I need to come in with original copy of the orders before an appointment could even be scheduled. I live an hour away ... why would you inconvenience me as the patient to come in to make the appointment for a different day? I felt like they were so rude and short with their answers to me to resolve this. As a 1st time patient, it doesn't seem like they are willing to take in a new patients (remember, patients are in fact customers too). So I called my original facility and they scheduled me in right away. 1 star - because it's mandatory to leave a review. read more

Excellent service and quick results. I'm giving them 3 stars because the employees reflect the business. The receptionist looks very official with her headset, but, in the times I've been there, she is ALWAYS on a personal call. One morning I was there to pick up my results, she didn't even look up or acknowledge my arrival. All she did was glance up, ask my last name, printed my paper, handed it to me... The times listed on their website and storefront window are NOT their actual operating hours. We arrived at 558 and the doors were locked (window says 630 closing). A desk person came to the door and says "we're closed. That's not right" (when I pointed to the window hours) then points at her ear indicating she's on a phone call & she shut the door. She said/did nothing else to help us. I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she was tired after a long day, hence her rude behavior. Fast forward to today's experience. Different girl, we walked in and signed in, then stood there for 30 seconds...the person sitting at the desk didn't acknowledge us or attempt eye contact, just kept typing away. We sat down and she yells across the room," when's your appointment?" I told her we were walk in and she says," oh. I don't have anything for you, I'm busy. Wait til I'm done and I'll see if I can get you in anytime today". She was pretty snotty about it. If appointments are required, that should be listed on the form (we were instructed by our Dr to drive directly to CDI from the office, the form says "walk ins welcomed"). After waiting a while with no further help from the desk person, We left & drove to hill imaging where we walked in, were happily greeted, and despite a full waiting room, were xrayed and out of there In under 30 mins. We have had X-rays at CDI before and wait times are hit & miss, I understand they can't control the flow of walk ins, however, Hill imaging had3 times more people waiting and were able to efficiently handle the load in a much faster time than I even expected to wait. The desk staff at CDI is always rude, however The X-ray staff is always over the top professional & kind. The desk staff alone is the reason we will not be coming back to CDI. If you're over worked, take it up with the manager, don't take it out on customers. read more

Needed to have a Biopsy, everyone who I spoke with to set up an appointment were very nice and helpful. The day of the procedure Denise the technician was excellent so kind and caring made you feel comfortable from the start to the end. Dr. Jimmy Ton was excellent. very caring and very concerned on how I as a patient was the whole time and explained what he was going to do and if there was going to be any discomfort. I used this facility over two years ago. To begin..my service was subpar. I never received a bill. I never received any correspondence from them at all. Now over two years later, and for the first time, I have been informed that they have sent me to collections. I always pay all my bills. If they had actually sent me a bill or called me (they had current information) this bill would have been paid years ago. I called their billing to inquire as to the error and was told it was my fault and they did nothing wrong. This is horrible customer service. I was also told they hadn't sent a bill in two years. So why not send a bill for two years and then send me to collections...years later!?!? I hear about this happening to people all the time. I never thought it would happen to me but California diagnostic imaging added me to the list of people who never received a bill and was sent to collections. I do NOT recommend this facility and I hope you never have to deal with them as I have. read more

I have been to CDI a few times most recently for a 3D ultrasound for my son. As soon as I walked in I felt welcome and comfortable. The front desk made me feel even more excited to see my little guy. The tech made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable. At first it was hard to see the baby due to positioning but the tech new different tricks to get him to where we needed him in order to get a good look. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to come to this center for any of their imaging needs. read more

I was very satisfied with my service at cdi. I got same day appointment for my husband. He got MRI for on his shoulder. When we got there (never before having this done before) Gina answered all of our questions making us feel at ease. Staff was very knowledgeable about insurance coverage.
