I totally forgot to make a review. So after an awful experience with eyebuydirect's brick and…read moremortar location, I was pretty put off by online turned retail type glasses stores. I was at UTC for normal shopping with the family and my husband said i should just check out Warby Parker, I argued that we didn't have time but he pushed so I said fine. I had a good idea of the frames I was looking for (clear acrylic) so it made it easy, we entered the store and were greeted by staff who were all quite friendly, they left us to browse and try on frames and were not at all pushy or hovering. I found the ones I wanted and was going to just order later and assumed it'd be similar to eyebuydirect where it claims to be one price but after add-ons it'd triple in price, but it really wasn't too much more. It wound up $50 more than the price listed on the frames bc I added on the blue light block and the guy helping me even knocked $15 off. So I was OTD for under $200 in less than 20 mins and received the glasses in the mail about 9 days later. Excellent experience!

Unfortunately nothing here fits me even though their high bridge fit for people with small noses should, but it's not even close. Still, if they ever make a frame that fits my face, I will become a customer.

All 3 times, the staff were amazing and helpful. Everything was explained to me in detail and they made sure I was comfortable. I had very bad vision but was at ease with the surgery considering how the folks are at Gordon Schanzlin. The surgery itself was probably only 5 mins, but a lot was done to make sure I was calm and ready for it. When I was a bit nervous during surgery, they helped distract me momentarily so we could continue seamlessly. I was given clear instructions for aftercare and i had zero complications. I even drove myself to my follow up like they said id be able to! When I needed receipts to help with FSA / insurance reimbursements, I called in and was assisted upfront. I never had any issues with the office side of things either! 3 months later, i still have 20/20 vision and 0 issues. I'm very happy with my treatment and would highly recommend Dr Echegoyen and the Gordon Schanzlin Institute.

My appointment last week resulted with lots of recommendations, a new prescription, testing for blinking ability, meibomian gland scan, sensitivity testing. The doctor spent over an hour with me for testing and I will be back next month for a treatment of Lipiflow which was not even offered to me at the previous practice.

I was greeted right away by Vineeta. It was my first time getting a pair of glasses (ever) and she very quickly helped confirm my insurance coverage and select multiple frames to try out. The selection is fantastic at LensCrafters with multiple price points available. Vineeta (and my husband) were very patient with me as I figured out what frames felt/look best. With my insurance and coupons I had via my insurance, I felt like the pricing was very reasonable. I was told that it would take 7-10 days for my glasses to arrive, but I got a text on Tuesday night that they were ready! I picked them up on the following Saturday and they fit perfectly. No adjustments were required and the prescription was perfect. If any adjustments need to be made, I can bring them in anytime. I did also opt for the 1 year protection plan ($34.99) since these are my first pair of glasses. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at LensCrafters in purchasing glasses. I can't speak to their eye exams, but highly recommend them for glasses.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED…read more I entered the store to shop for frames and potentially get my eyes examined out of convenience I was in the area shopping. Nobody bothered to help me for long time until I flagged assistance down and when I did the guy seemed to provide mediocre customer service at best. 1) I had questions about some Burberry frames that were ~$350, overall frames were beautiful and fit my face BUT I need to increase the distance and lift a little as my nose isn't as pointy or big and there were no nose piece and my lashes touch the lenses. HIS RESPONSE "you can go to Amazon and buy those nose pieces". Amazon? Why would I buy $350 frames to add a sticker nose piece that might not even work. Then he said I would have 30 days to return. The right answer would be to seek if they do make adjustments to frames and if no maybe suggest an optometry or glass repair that does. I mean I guess I can try the Amazon hack but that was some weird advice. Another service person walked by and I asked the same question, she referred me to call a place to see if they could assist making the adjustments. 2) The guy came back and I wanted to schedule an appointment. Took about 5-10m to run my insurance. I asked about exams... the comprehensive one (since in the past I've had eye trauma from my motorcycle accident and want to do more than the basics) and he didn't know much about the comorehensive and brought me to the back to get answers. He didn't know about retinal imaging. You work at an optometry place and you don't know about the kinds of exams? You don't have to be an eye doctor but should at least know the basics. Go figure, same guy that told me to go on Amazon and buy sticker nose pads. 3) At that time in store I scheduled my exams. But then maybe 10m I had to cancel because of conflict in my schedule. That same guy said he cancelled it (I was standing next to him) and was told to call back when ready. I asked for a card so I can call back when ready. Days later I got a notification that I missed my appointment. An appointment I cancelled and told the guy to cancel and he confirmed it was cancelled... only to receive notice i missed the appointment. If the front of the house can't get simple things in order... I am not sure how credible they are to do a good thorough eye exam. First time attempting to try out LensCrafters and probs my last.

However, I'm extremely disappointed with how my medications were handled. I was initially given expired eye drops before surgery, which I reported. After surgery, I developed an eye infection, and when I was given a new bottle on 03/30/2026, it was set to expire on 04/04/2026--just days later. When I called, I was told it's "okay" to use expired drops, which is very concerning. For a clinic like NVISION Eye Centers, this level of carelessness with medications is unacceptable. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Day of the Surgery: The actual procedure was done in a very short period of time. I felt pressure on my eye socket, but nothing else. You just stare at some lights and each eye is done in a matter of 20-30 seconds. Once you're done, they give you protective goggles and send you off with whoever is driving you. You get meds to help you sleep and relax your eyes for the rest of the day. When I woke up from this, I could already see much better. Next Day: I woke up and was astonished at how good my vision was. I have books across the room from my bed and I could read all the titles from where I was laying. Pre-surgery I couldn't even tell there was writing where the titles were. I had my check up at NVision, which I drove myself to and the rest of the day was great. Day 3: This day, my eyes hurt like hell. I took drops a lot and tried to keep my eyes closed a lot. The rest of the week, the pain decreased and went away and my vision continued to improve. I was never more excited when I didn't have to wear the goggles to bed anymore haha Over the next several weeks and months, my eyesight was much crisper than it had ever been when I wore contacts. Colors were more vibrant and I could read street signs much farther away. My eyes needed drops at the beginning and end of days as they were frequently dry and to this day I still have minor halos around lights at night, but damn this eyesight is a dream. If you are eligible for Contura, I would definitely spend the extra money and do it. It made a big difference for me.
