I totally forgot to make a review. So after an awful experience with eyebuydirect's brick and mortar location, I was pretty put off by online turned retail type glasses stores. I was at UTC for normal shopping with the family and my husband said i should just check out Warby Parker, I argued that we didn't have time but he pushed so I said fine. I had a good idea of the frames I was looking for (clear acrylic) so it made it easy, we entered the store and were greeted by staff who were all quite friendly, they left us to browse and try on frames and were not at all pushy or hovering. I found the ones I wanted and was going to just order later and assumed it'd be similar to eyebuydirect where it claims to be one price but after add-ons it'd triple in price, but it really wasn't too much more. It wound up $50 more than the price listed on the frames bc I added on the blue light block and the guy helping me even knocked $15 off. So I was OTD for under $200 in less than 20 mins and received the glasses in the mail about 9 days later. Excellent experience! read more

Warby Parker is a great place for designer-like eyeglass frames and sunglasses at budget prices. The service is attentive and caring. The frames are fashionable. Unfortunately nothing here fits me even though their high bridge fit for people with small noses should, but it's not even close. Still, if they ever make a frame that fits my face, I will become a customer. read more

I first visited this Warby Parker location in August. I forgot the associate's name who helped me but she was wonderful - welcomed me in, explained the entire Warby process for both glasses and contacts, and helped me select frames that suited me best. I don't buy new prescription glasses often as I rely on my contacts mostly, but I love the new frames I chose! I believe all their listed prices include both frames and lenses. I paid $145, and a bit extra for the thinner lenses. They had frames available for as low as $95, which is a great deal for the quality. I didn't even need to bring in a physical prescription (some places require physical), she just took a photo of my prescription from my phone and uploaded it to their system. The purchase was smooth and my glasses arrived looking great. I needed the glasses adjusted so I came back to this location in September and had another great experience. Isaac took wonderful care of my glasses and fitted them perfectly. All the associates were super friendly with my dog and kept him company while my glasses were being worked on, even offering my dog treats :) Overall great location, with friendly staff and a great selection of frames :) definitely recommend! read more

So... last night, while crawling into bed, I accidentally bodyslammed a pair of my Warby Parkers. I'd bent one side of the frame wildly out of position and there was no way I was going to wrangle the lens back in by myself. We happened to have lunch resos at Din Tai Fung earlier today and, on a whim, I looked up the nearest Warby Parker. Lo and behold, there was one in the same mall. Yaaaaaaas! The universe apparently owed me one! In hindsight, I feel a little guilty about not asking for the name of my optician. She had a badass tattoo and worked some sorcery on my busted glasses. I was referred by a friend to try Warby Parker for my next set of glasses. I did just that about 2 years ago. The pricing was right on point for what I was looking for. Great styles and affordable prices. There really is something for everyone. Just recently I visited the UTC location to take advantage of their free adjustments and nose pad or screw replacements. One of my nose pads broke off after 2 years. I arrived on a busy Saturday around 12pm. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly and helpful. I was immediately checked-in and waited about 5 minutes before the technician (David) was ready to help me. I showed David my glasses and the broken pads and he went to work. Waited a total of about 10 minutes to have new pads and get my glasses professionally cleaned. I love Warby Parker. I also have a pair of prescription sunglasses from here that I love. Shopping for glasses can feel intimidating, but I've never felt that way at this location. I've been to other WP locations in SoCal before, and the experience just isn't the same. As soon as you walk in, you'll automatically feel welcomed by their employees. Everyone's so fun to talk to, and they're pretty understanding about my confusing prescription questions lol. We are used to shopping at costco for all our frames but this time we wanted to try Warby Parker for my son. This purchase was a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about their products and inventory. Though VSP is out of network for this shop and it was just easy to submit a claim. Frames are wonderfully very modern and affordable, especially college going kids will love these frames. Have been a long time Warby Parker fan! So glad this location has been around for years, have gotten many pairs of glasses (for multiple stylish options). If you're looking for affordable* glasses and don't have vision insurance this is the place for you. Recently at this location JAIR has been an amazing apprentice optician and their customer service is nothing but the best! They go above and beyond to help me as a customer and get me what I am looking for. *I'll note at a corporate level WP has made multiple changes over the years that are slowly tightening up their profit margins. For example: scratch warranty has been reduced from 1 year to only 6 months; they no longer allow replacement lenses for only $50, you have to replace the entire pair of glasses at a $50 discount; sunglasses are more expensive now, and not sure if they still donate a pair for every pair purchased or not. read more

Eye may have had the best customer service ever at Warby Parker. In my case, the kind of service where nothing went left and everything went right. Eye learned early on to avoid words, such as always and never but here I am using nothing and everything. As for my eyes, I'm a newbie to the four eyed world, I heard this derogatory statement thrown around as a child. I'm a fan of the smart look, so who cares. A new perspective, a new year. As an adult, I never thought much about eyewear aside from being a fashion statement. As for choosing a brand, I root for small designers, a classic creator with modern application or visa versa. This is what makes something timeless. I am partial to a company that does good, while doing well. Clearly, Warby Parker is to eyewear what Tom's is to shoes. Both in-store, online, by phone, text and mail, my experience has been off the charts. I tested frames for shape in store (fun environment) tried 5 pairs by mail for color (on Warby) and spoke to a representative that re-assured me they are only a "text away". I laid eyes on my first pair of glasses in my try at home kit. I ordered a bright red frame in "Cardinal Crystal". I chose single vision with polycarbonate lenses and the cost was $95. From the date of order, it took less than a week to receive by mail. The glasses arrived in a hard case, with cleaning cloth and information on care, donation and returns. A true value over the Luttoxica brands with up-to-date looks. My daughter thinks Warby Parker has the best frame selections. I ordered a pair of prescription glasses for my daughter in 12/26/2022 with Order number 532263329. She received the glasses by mailed but with the wrong power. She called Warby Parker so they mailed her the second pair of glasses. Guess what? The second pair of glasses is still with the wrong prescription power. They need to improve their quality control. The power is -0.50 off. We only know the lenses weren't correct because my daughter works in an Optical store so she has access to the equipments. This is the first time our family tried to buy prescription glasses through mail. We will never try that again. Costco probably is a better choice. read more

I had been looking for 100% clear frames for a very long time. I'd seen that WP had some online and came in to check them out. Me and the hubby both got a pair. They helped us use our insurance and get our prescription from Costco where we'd last used our prescription. I even got a pair of non prescription sunglasses. I usually don't spend much on sunglasses because I am horrible about keeping them scratch free, but they said if I scratched them in the first year they'd replace the lenses for free. I was sold! I get so many compliments on the sunglasses, too, so it's a win/win. When my glasses get loose or when I first got them in the mail and they didn't fit perfectly, I brought them in for adjustments (free) until I got the perfect fit. As I type, I'm waiting my turn to get them tightened up again, as I am naughty and wear my readers on my head when not reading. They never bat an eye when I come in. Cheap, super cute, durable glasses with great service throughout the entire process. The workers here are very helpful, especially the Asian guy who is always there whenever I go. I forgot his name, but thanks a bunch for always being really helpful and patient! There are a LOT of options to try and the store is pretty spacious. After trying on countless of glasses, I finally decided on the Keene. In order to get your glasses, you must show a non-expired prescription, whether on paper or through a photograph. I am nearsighted and got the entire frame and lenses for ONLY $95, no service fees or anything included. All I had to do was wait for my glasses to be sent to my home. I believe you can either get it sent to your house or through store pick up, whichever you prefer. The entire process from purchase of the glasses to actually receiving them was just a tiny bit over a week. Warby Parker also gives you the shipping details so you can check on the status daily. Once receiving them, they were perfect and the lens have no glare. I am very happy with my Warby Parker glasses and recommend anyone purchasing their glasses here. read more

They'll sell you glasses but terrible follow through! I've never had to wear corrective lenses before but when I hit the big 4-0, that all changed. ; ( Prices at my eye Dr. were ridiculous so started to seek alternatives. I found 2-3 retail outlets that had glasses that I liked but ultimately went with Warby Parker because I was promised I could get them in a week if I paid to have the order expedited, which I did. I do a lot of reading so I started to experience migraines so the timing was of the essence. Unfortunately, the promised/expedited receive date has come and gone and I still have NOT received the two pairs of glasses that I ordered - a week past due. I've been in touch with their customer service every day and they said they would reach out to the lab but the lab NEVER got back to them. It was a one way communication. They could ask the status but they don't respond. In the 5 days they pinged them, they did not respond so their customer service agents can keep their customers apprised of their delay. Then, I was promised delivery today but the package hasn't moved in nearly 24 hours. UPS shows label was created yesterday...so frustrating! I doubt I'll get my package considering its 3pm in California. I'm grateful for their 30-day no questions asked return policy. I'll be looking for alternatives to get something in my hands soon...no telling when I'll get my glasses from these jokers. This is my first order with Warby Parker and I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THEM based on my experience. Especially if you need them ASAP. After trying their eyeglasses via their in home trial twice (that is 10 frames!), I finally went to their actual store in La Jolla to sample some frames again! The staff are so polite and they greet you right away while offering their services. Their store is so tidy and the frames are arranged based on its shape and more stands for sunglasses. For $95 (I was also lucky with a gift card), I finally decided on the Barnett in Quail Egg Grey. Fits my round face perfectly. The fitting was fast, I went on a Sunday and they verified my prescription with my eye doctor in about 4 days but the shipping after that was quite efficient. So no fret if you come in and forgot your prescription. I really adore the packaging! For someone like me who has a high prescription, their high index lens that I didn't mind paying an extra $30 for is life changing! Big difference from my usual "thick" lens. Their frames are so stylish and in really good condition! Will come back. read more

While they have great options for trying on pairs online (mailing you five pairs at a time), the store is filled with all of their eyewear and you can try everything on in store. They have such a wide range of glasses and sunglasses in narrow, medium or wide frames. All of the frames have such a great look and feel to them. They're lightweight and stylish AND by purchasing a pair, another pair gets donated! They are also priced very affordably. The price includes the frame and lens. The service in this store is incredible. There were so many people there to help. If you have any questions, there is no waiting around. Everyone is super friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have. I found a pair I loved but didn't have my prescription with me. They were able to help me order my pair in store and all I had to do was upload my prescription online. They also have a lot of helpful information in regards to your insurance. They are accepted by a few insurance companies and have directions for how to file a claim for reimbursement if your insurance is out of network. It's been a few years since I bought my glasses here. The employees and service continue to be top-notch! Unfortunately, I feel I have to give a lower rating due to the quality of the product. My glasses initially arrived crooked, with one side higher than the other, something I've had to visit the store multiple times to have adjusted. The frame is also flimsy and seems to bend out of shape or lose tightness easily. I've had glasses for longer periods of time that did not show signs of damage, but during my last visit a few months ago, an employee let me know that the screw holding one of the glasses arms was stripped and couldn't be tightened. I did enjoy the thin, lightweight lens option for my high prescription, but the durability of the frames left a lot to be desired, and I regret to say I won't purchase glasses here in the future. read more

I came in after my recent eye exam to purchase new pairs of glasses at a relatively affordable price. I normally always go to LensCrafters and get a designer pair but this place was WAY BETTER in ALL aspects. I have one pair of reading glasses that I've had for nearly 20 years. Its ovbious don't purchase frames very often as I don't wear corrective lenses with any amount of regularity. However the gf loves to constantly look at new frames and finds reason to aspire to get new ones whether its style, function or even boredom perhaps. I can't say that I understand it at all but we decided to walk in to see what they had to offer. They had some books for sale and the theme was that of a library. Good experience. Friendly and helpful employees. I bought the Wilkie Xtra Wide frames, because of my fat head. Glasses took a tad over a week to arrive in the mail, which is very quick. Prescription is accurate. I took the glasses in today, and their optical technician lady bent the temple legs to exactly where I needed them to be. Better experience than Zenni Optical as I've ordered many from them and only 1 pair ever fit well. The legs are always too short and my glasses slip. Warner is way cheaper than buying Luxotica/Optometry prices and slightly more expensive than the cheapo online shops, but the fit is perfect, you can try them in-store, and the 30 month return policy is something no one really offers. I'll probably buy another pair. read more

For every pair of glasses purchased, they give one to another human who needs them and has no access. 2. The prices are most excellent! 3. Their service is quick, friendly, and professional. 4. This is the place where you can order up to 5 try-ons at a time for free that they'll ship for free so you can try them on at home for free, wear them around for a bit to see if they're for you. 5. They'll give you advice if you upload a photo with the try-ons and tell you which ones look best. 6. They do have stores too if that's your thing or if you need to go in for an adjustment. It was a trek to La Jolla from Escondido, but well worth it for the adjustment (free) and to return the glasses. 7. Their selection is GREAT! Lots of styles, shapes, sizes, and colors (unlike a lot of places, like where I got my eyes checked) I love my glasses. I love Warby Parker! read more
