    I went to this store for a simple exchange on my cable box. After only 2 months, it was already…read moremal-functioning. The tech agent gave me the option of either waiting til they mailed out a new box, or go to a spectrum service location. When locating the facility, I noticed they had terrible yelp reviews and couldn't understand why? This location was 1/2 hour away but I decided to go anyway. When I arrived, there was 1 young girl waiting on a couple. She appeared to be the only agent. After waiting 1/2 hour, 4 more people came in and were all waiting in line. This same girl was still helping the same customer. Finally....another lady came out. I gave her my box and she had stated, "I hope it's a rented one and not bought, because then I can't exchange it". Not sure why this makes a difference but I thought what a huge inconvenience that would be. Luckily it was rented and I was able to make the exchange. As I was leaving, I noticed the lady that waiting on me was scolding 2 of the 4 people who were waiting because they moved 2 chairs 8ft so they wouldn't have to stand the whole time. It's unfortunate something as simple as a cable companies corporate store makes it so difficult and unpleasant for their customers when it should be a place of convenience for their customers.

    Had service installed in July last year. I paid $684.95 for installation and equipment on 7/17/25…read more Indoor and outdoor units. We had multiple issues with the indoor unit. They came out and replaced everything....lines, modem...still issues. We lost service more than monthly, every month since service was installed. Customer service is ok during business hours. Someone will usually call back after 10am. No nights or weekends. Which, since this was at our cabin, was very problematic. We had a flood that took out the entire cabin. We went down to studs and floor boards. It was stressed multiple times that we HAD to have service to make sure the power was on. The second to last time we lost power, again this has all been every month and less than a year of service, I explained that if we lost service again, I was going to have to find other service. The next time we lost service (we were without service for 3 days with no updates from Herrington), I switched to Starlink and cancelled my service with Herrington. I had to leave them a voicemail telling them I was cancelling. Someone called back hours later but didn't leave a voicemail. I called again at 4:30 that day on my way home from work and left another voicemail stating I would like to talk to someone about cancelling. Never received a response. This was 4/13/26. I received a text 5/20/26 asking if I was done with my equipment and could they uninstall it for me. I asked if they were going to reimburse me, as it had been less than a year and I had problems every month I had service. I was told $100-150 was all they could offer me. I told them that seemed inadequate. I was told they would talk to Tait. The next day I had to ask for an update (a regular pattern in the lack of communication with them) and was told 'he said no sorry'. So now I felt I had no option but to warn others who may want to use a small, local company, as I did, and save them the trouble.
