Horrible customer service. Faster to drive to the Malone Spectrum and back. Just sad...

in the past there was a young man who assisted me twice with my frozen phone. yesterday and today my phone locked and I drove to local store and was only person in there.... I was told in an unfriendly way by two women they couldnt help me to call Apple and gave me the number I went back today after spending hours on phone and was treated even worse! I left and went straight to Verizon where I was immediately helped with respect and kindness! they were very busy but that didn't matter to them! we are now with Verizon and can't be more happy because I know if we need help..... we will get it and service with a smile there is no need for the unkind unhelpful service we received at spectrum read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered! I requested help to activate my Spectrum accounts and I was informed that they couldn't help because I didn't purchase the equipment in store- What the hell is the Spectrum service store there for?!?! I believe the CSR is just a snobby and lazy rep who wanted an easy task - she was short and rude from the moment I walked in- I also can match that rudeness as it's presented to me! She advised that I call Spectrum and did I need her to give me the number- as I'm standing there with a new iPad that I bought from Spectrum and Samsung Galaxy S23Ultra - yeah umm no I don't need her 'help' - rude rude RUDE - this 'store' needs a secret shopping experience and definitely a ton of training- at least for that one CSR I encountered! This has to be the WORST Spectrum store. Used online to start service. Given a same day appt to pick up equipment. Got there & was told that they had no routers. Left, went to Sam's bought a router for $60. Returned to pick up modem & same clerk is ready to hand me a modem when another clerk says "no, that is an old Time Warner address". Yes it is, but that was done in 2016....Spectrum had no equipment in the store for a former TW address. They "suggested" I drive to Malone. NY - 75 miles EACH WAY to pick up a used modem. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Talked with Tech support 3 times and NOTHING. OH! And they still charged the $19.95 "activation" fee and the modem from Malone didn't work! Malone store said they never get new equipment. Waiting on a tech 3 days later - but they have already billed me. NYS Attorney General is getting a complaint from me. read more

Horrible lines and service. They must only have one person working all day and they don't say anything either if you're walking around saying there's a wait or that it's just him he'll just continue to slowly work on the same person for the next few hours. Ok this is nothing to do with the store and everything to to do with sales and repair I started on the 23 of March to order and buy out right two 22s ultra s but on the 24 order confirmation came for one and wrong color so I called back to see if the other one was going to be the other color and could the numbers switch later. Well to my surprise there was no other order so I placed it again this went on four more times when finally one sale guy try to order again and now is back ordered with my up grade he tried few time no help then he did as a new line and sale went thru . So at that point sales told me to take the order and will correct it on activation. So I did the phone came in and I followed the steps and called activation and explained the situation and we moved thru the process pretty quickly after the activation people finished they order a phone number change should take 24 to 48 hours so I went on with my day 24 hour later the old phone was deactivated and new phone had wrong number three days later old phone back on new phone wrong number after many attends and elescallting to supervision I was told they have contacted the rep working on my phone and would be fix in 2 hours and they would call me 4 hours later they did not call and was not fixed so I called again this time the repair rep looked at this issue fwd to supervision and then rep could see that only half of the line change process was accomplished she complete it then number was changed to my new phone and old phone came off. But next day got text from spectrum mobile that there was a plane change then we started to work that out they started to charge by the gig went it was unlimited so as of yesterday April 1 both phones are working and one with wrong color. I get another notification phone is being shipped . GUESS what it was the phone with correct color . To late now we have both phone working so I called to stop the phone from coming but can't and now some how I have to let fed ex to return to sender but we both work on the day it is to be dropped of a signature is required so saga continues I can't wait to see the bill cause they had add l I ne and activation fee that all have to be reversed. I haven't had phone service since July its now September the kids Noah who was helping me giggled with his "manager" on the phone while I stood right there then he promised me that she would call me back the next day it's now been 4 days and I have heard nothing from this so called Rebecka Herrick - when my husband went in there at the beginning of our issues one of they employees placed a sim card in the phone and ran it 4 times it took a mo. We waited in line for two hours to get service. All the time we were there there were a minimum of 15 other customers waiting. We wanted to change our mobile phone carrier to Spectrum. After waiting out two hours they informed us that we would have to upgrade our phones, which we didn't want to do. What a waste of time. There was only one person working by the way. read more

I went to the spectrum store in my town and when I walked in the door there were a dozen or more people waiting. There was one gentleman at the counter helping someone and when I asked him if there was anyone else working he replied that he was the only one there. Mind you this was on Saturday when everyone is able to get out and run errands! Spectrum commercials say they want to help people in anyway, well maybe they can help by putting more than 1 person in your store on the weekend!! read more
