I do love my neighborhood Speedee Mart! The employees are super nice and always a smile. I tend to stop in a few times a week and get a fill up on gas. Premium gas is now $3.89 a gallon. I'm digging the prices. Con: Loafers always outside being rude and asking for 'change' I'm really tired of being harassed as I go in the store. And they don't 'ask nicely. Straight up deplorable. full transparency - I've never bought gas here or anything else other than Craft Beer. Thats what this review is about. An incredibly strong selection of crafts for sale at an unremarkable gas station mini mart. Heard the owner was a big craft beer guy and he inherited the chain of gas stations from his father and brought the love of craft beer along with him. Great idea as their selection is stronger than any Lee's or Total Liquor anywhere within a 15 miles radius. An absolute plethora of single cans and some 4packs and 6packs. If you like Beer Zombie releases then this is your spot. If you like IPAs or sours this is your spot too! Just wanted to shout Speedee Mart out as I had no idea. I just discovered this place and have been going daily for the last week, one day I went twice. I had been getting a fountain soda (club soda) for $1.50 or $1.30 for a refill. The staff is so friendly and have good banter. I go this morning and a lady I'd never seen before is working. I say "good morning" and I get a grumpy "hello" in return. Before I even get to the counter she says "$2.00". I said it's always $1.50 but I brought my own cup". Now I'm thinking she's trying to up charge me because there's no prices on the cup and it's always been $1.50. So I explain I've been coming all week and consistently have been charged the same price. The whole time she's being nasty and acting like I'm personally insulting her over my confusion from the price difference. I almost want to leave the drink but I pay and take it and let her know I won't be back and that she's incredibly rude. She says sarcastically "have a nice day". Obviously I will because it's just a soda and I'm not a super grumpy person like her. I want to add, I never just get a soda. I usually buy bottled drinks and snacks for my husband and kids. However, I won't be back. It's a shame because all the employees are so nice. Not sure why the manager would be so rude or why all the other employees charge me one price and she charges me another. Usually has the best cash price for gas in this area. We go here if we don't visit Shell or Mobil on West Flamingo Road (it's our third or fourth choice). It's not usually busy either, but there are a few other customers buying gas too. Like I said, pay with cash, and you will get the best price, for the area (West Sahara and Fort Apache). Areas near the gas pumps are usually clean and in order. You can also get air for your tires. But there is no car wash here, just a FYI. Also has a convenience mart, that's where you go to pay, inside. read more

My friend and I had a terrible experience here the other day. The staff working on 06/13/2019 around 3:35pm were very rude and aggressive. Especially the african american woman at the cashier. She questioned me and my friend because we were buying alcohol (which is understandable because we look so young) but went about it very unprofessionally by making it her own little game & belittling us in front of other customers with ridiculous questioning. Then as I look away for a second before signing a receipt she immediately yelled at me so aggressively saying "I SAID I NEED A SIGNATURE HEFER." And slammed the receipt down on the items I was buying. Long story short I will not be going back. read more

Most convenient gas station in the SW side of town. Best service and great prices on beer gas and cigarettes.

This is a conveniently located C-store located at the southwest corner of Fort Apache and Sahara Avenue. They have a water kiosk as well as a shaved ice hut on the property. They provide a good air station, too for all the summer water toys. read more

If you're in the mood, the coffee brewed here isn't too bad!! Good selection of snacks, (Beef Jerky, Chips, Donuts, Candy.) If you like to play slots, they always offer you a drink or free snack. I've always come here and never had much of an issue besides long lines, but today there were two incredibly rude African American women working today. One was named Kimberly and the other lady and her were yelling across the store to eachother very loud and then Kimberly came to the front where under me someone had knocked down two boxes of mints, picks them up and says "who's was this? Who had mints?" And waved them literally six inches from my face. The third worker was a VERY NICE African American man (I wanted to specify so this doesn't become a racial thing) who was soft spoken. I was just purchasing gas so after my card was authorized I waited looking at him for him o ask if I want my receipt which I did not hear and then the unnamed lady began yelling at him very loud and rude completely inappropriate for a public setting inside a store in front of people. The poor guy must've been absolutely horrifyingly embarrassed! I wish I had the balls to tell that mean lady to step down, but after I left who knows, that might've made it worse for him!!
