Not sure what the problem is here, but everyone at the pumps is inside waiting in a line -- and no one's come out fo 5 minutes

We go here often for liquor and other oddities we need for the house while we're out. Normally,…read moreit's a fairly alright experience aside from the beggars and random weirdos out front. I was recently diagnosed with COVID (fml) and had my prescriptions sent here. I keep telling myself "I'll change the pharmacy" because it takes SO LONG... I forgot. COVID brain? We'll pretend. Anyway, I pull up to 3 cars in the Pharmacy line, not bad. I'm in this line for 25 minutes. This 25 minutes allows me to discover only 1 of my 4 prescriptions is ready... the guy tells me "please just come inside in about 10-15 minutes and we'll have those ready". I didn't think about the quarantine thing, and that's absolutely my bad. But I did wear my mask and gloves as I ventured into Walgreens. I figured, I should pick up soup and some easy meals anyway, right? I gathered some meals (not good, but wtf can I actually taste? Fuck it.) and wandered to the pharmacy to gather my prescriptions. They called my name on the speaker as I got to the counter. I let them know my name and the girl rang up my various frozen and canned crap while gathering my meds. She scans the medication and stops and asks if I'm the patient.. of course I say yes. She stops, looks at me in disgust and says "you should go through drive thru because then I'll have to disinfect.." I thought it was illegal for pharmacy/medical personnel to judge you based on an illness or condition... so that was a slap in the face. I told her I was already here and would appreciate if she would continue checking me out so I could go home.. she rolled her eyes, walked to the back of the pharmacy and grabbed an alcohol bottle in a huff.. I felt awful. But in that moment I didn't want to lug all my stuff to the front, check out, and sit back in the line for 20-30 more minutes.. because I literally just wanted my meds, soup, and bed. Kind of concerning that they aren't sanitizing between customers and that there wasn't any alcohol wipes or spray within arms reach.. at all. Wonder how COVID is going around again. I got my stuff and fucked off. Remind me NEVER to get my prescriptions filled at this Walgreens EVERY EVER again.

I went 24 hours after my urgent care visit, knowing they had received the prescription. However, I was told it wasn't ready I could either come in & wait or come back about 20 minutes later. As I had a fever, I stated I would return in a couple of hours. 30 hours after my visit to urgent care, I drove back to the drive through and was told it wasn't ready. Again, invited to come in & wait or return 30 minute later. I stated I had been waiting for over 24 hours for this prescription and had been told the same story 6 hours earlier. "I'm sorry but we're busy" is all she said. I'm done with this pharmacy, and most likely Walgreens all together.

I went 24 hours without pain medication after a major surgery. Are you even talk to the security guard while waiting for my Uber after the purchase. Walgreens is everywhere which is good. After dinner nearby at this shopping complex, I headed to Walgreens to pick up some stuff. It was after 7:30 PM on a Monday night and it was already dark. Daylight savings time has ended and it got dark early. The store was largely empty, with a few people roaming around in the back of the store and a few people were in line ready to pay. During my time here, I probably spent about 30 minutes, looking for what I needed. And then, stood in aforementioned line while waiting to check out. Walgreens has everything that you could want on a daily basis. Usually. I didn't need the pharmacy, but glad it was there for people who need it. The store is quite clean and spotless, organized to a tee. I figured out where things were within 10 minutes into finding what I needed, picked it up, and headed towards the cashier area. It was a quick process and you always want to be in and out quicker than you thought it would be. The service was definitely friendly and professional, I thought you could tell that sometimes you just don't wanna be there. And it kind of shows. Still, it was nice that this Walgreens was conveniently located for me because I needed stuff and it was basically a short walk from the restaurant I was dining in that night. So, if you're in the area and need stuff for everyday use, this being at your base cap for all things you need for a daily basis. They got everything pretty much for you and what you need. The overall experience here at this Walgreens particular location is typical yet uneventful at the same time. I found what I needed in record time, which is pretty cool for me. They sell namebrand products as well as generic stuff too. Walgreens can be a little pricey, but they sell body products and a reserve price. It just depends on what you need on a particular day or night. I basically purchased a few bottle drinks and some lite snacks to have while in my hotel room watching TV later that evening. Nothing special. They have a plethora of snacks and assorted drinks, soda, pop, energy, drinks, and even alcohol. Unfortunately, also the alcohol is not refrigerated and you have to do that yourself after you get home. That's a total bummer for sure. I think that this one is 24 hours, but I'm not too sure on that. My favorite thing about Walgreens that they're everywhere, like Walmart, Starbucks, and McDonald's. Very very convenient location for me and a place to go where you needs stuff. I can definitely count on Walgreens to have the stuff that I need and add a cheap price - or at least at a reasonable cost. For the most part, though, it was a good experience because I didn't have to take an Uber to get here. It was just a walk from the restaurant that I had dinner in previously. It was quick and painless so on a good day - or evening. I can definitely say that I enjoyed my shopping time here, even at a Walgreens. Yes Walgreens. If you're ever near here, get your stuff here at Walgreens, best decision ever. This particular Walgreens is located at 1234 Main St. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is part of a shopping complex called amble mall. Like many retail chains nowadays, they accept both major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a huge parking lot for you all to park here, since it's part of a shopping destination Mecca. I'm not sure if the Albuquerque public transportation system comes to here, and it should. Best bet is to check online for the Albuquerque public transportation system, and see if it does. There's of course, Uber and Lyft to get you here in an instant. After my purchase here at this, Walgreens, I made a little chitchat with the security guard outside while waiting for my Uber. He's a good guy. It was a nice short conversation that made me think about life and how it can be transformative as well as cruel at the same time. Made me think things that they just not often to be thought of. With that said, it is definitely a good thing that I came to this Walgreens. It helped me think of things while having a good shopping experience and a blessed night in Albuquerque. So, if you're ever here in the area, consider coming to this Walgreens For your needs. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

The staff is super nice, and you see the same faces over the years, for the most part, so you can…read moretell it is a decent place to work. The food is REALLY diverse, with the tried-and-true favorites, as well as some more upscale, new agey things. They have a little bit of organic product (not much, but still surprising for a small store) they have a Japanese sushi bar, though I think they may be closing it down. They roast chile during the season when it has been harvested. THey do it in specially designed, big barrels outside the store and then they wrap it up and sell it to their customers. The variety is astonishing, really. In the produce, I recommend the blueberries, strawberries, cranberries (in season), avocados, green chile. For some reason, those things, in particular, are better than anywhere else in town. I suspect that this store has an "in" with local growers of SOMETHING. Basically, this store has pretty much EVERYTHING that a person needs in their household, including some gourmetish items. STAY AWAY FROM: The CHEESE. For some reason, I have had to return several cheese items. I don't think they are storing it properly. Also, the yellow onions look really tired but the white ones are just fine. THE BREAD is also not great. I've never been able to find an expiration date on any of their breads and I am suspicious about that. But at least they HAVE bread, when you're in a pinch. don't expect a lot in the meat department. They used to have a full time person behind the counter, but now the pickings are slim. The store has fallen on hard times since Covid, though, which is why I don't give them 5 stars. They USED to have a full SERVICE department, with Western Union and everything, but now they don't even pay out for the winning lottery tickets. (They do have a lottery machine, however, so at least you can buy them there.) I think that the pandemic made it difficult for them to get staff, but I am betting that when things improve in that department, they will be able to hire back some of the staff. The location of this store is very convenient, and it is a quick "in" and "out" - which is great for me, because I am disabled and can't be on my feet for very long. They switched from manned checkout stations to "do-it-yourself" about a year ago, but if they see someone struggling, they help them through the procedures. Today, when I went in there, I had a complicated checkout, using two different cards, so one of the gals opened up the manned checkout counter for me. They're nice like that. By the way, in the lot right next door, on 12th and Lomas, there is a small gas station with 4 pumps and a small little 7-11 type store THERE as well - but it's only good for EMERGENCY gas runs because it is very difficult to get in and out of there, the gas pumps NEVER have receipts. They always make you walk into the store to get a receipt from the checker, and their customer service stinks. I just mention it because having the gas station there HAS BEEN convenient a couple times when I was running really low on gas. This IS the best neighborhood place ever! When they're able to get more staff again, when they open up the service counter again, and when they get a real handle on the expiration dates on some of the foods, I'll come back and give them a '5." In the meantime, 4 stars for a great effort, good variety, and surprisingly good quality during difficult times.

I loved their quirky soda variety, and the cheap produce! I will definitely be stopping in for produce in the future. It has prices that beat pretty much every grocery store I have been to!
