Surprised at all the negative reviews. My online orders are always ready quickly and items are always in stock. When I use the pharmacy, either in-person or drive-thru, my meds are usually ready in a timely fashion. Even if there was a mistake, my prescriptions are usually filled same day within 30 minutes. I was prescribed antibiotics from an urgent care center. I had it called in to this Walgreens and received a text right away that they were working on it. When I got there I checked in and gave the clerk my new insurance card. Several minutes later I got a text saying it was ready so I went to the counter to retrieve the prescription. The clerk waved the bag with my prescription in front of me and said my insurance had not updated them on the price of the prescription so she could not release it to me. She asked me to wait. About 10 minutes later she called me up, said they still had not updated the price and that she could not release the prescription. She said I should go home; that she would call me when the insurance had updated them. No call came after 5 hours so I called my insurance, who said they did not have any contact from Walgreens about my prescription and if the computer systems weren't talking to each other Walgreens could have called them about the order to get the price. I called Walgreens and spoke with a different clerk who said since the price wasn't up I could pay $11 out of pocket for the prescription. I said yes, of course that was what I wanted and why had I not been given the option when I was there earlier? He said some people get angry having to pay out of pocket. When I picked up the prescription the original clerk told me she was trying to be considerate to my wanting to save money. My generic prescription copay is $10 so she had saved me $1 and it had resulted in my having to wait 5 hours with an active bacterial infection. All the techs I dealt with at this location either weren't thinking or didn't care. read more

Why does it take forever to get a prescription. I went to the drive through sat there at least 15 minutes not one car moved, I was the 6 th car in line. I wanted a pain medicine after oral surgery. I rather deal with the physical pain than the pain of waiting at the pharmacy. Time to change to CVS . I absolutely HATE Walgreens read more

I've been trying to the reach this pharmacy on Coors and Montano, Albuquerque, for two days. First time I called, I was placed on hold with 1 caller ahead of me. Someone would pick up the phone and place me back on hold. This happened 4 times, so I hung up. I called back later on the same day and I was on hold for over 18 minutes. Called again the following day and I was placed on hold with 3 customers ahead of me. As soon as the clock hit 1:30p, I was told they are out to lunch!!! The pharmacy on Coors and Montano is horrible!!! Answer your phones!!!! read more

We go here often for liquor and other oddities we need for the house while we're out. Normally, it's a fairly alright experience aside from the beggars and random weirdos out front. I was recently diagnosed with COVID (fml) and had my prescriptions sent here. I keep telling myself "I'll change the pharmacy" because it takes SO LONG... I forgot. COVID brain? We'll pretend. Anyway, I pull up to 3 cars in the Pharmacy line, not bad. I'm in this line for 25 minutes. This 25 minutes allows me to discover only 1 of my 4 prescriptions is ready... the guy tells me "please just come inside in about 10-15 minutes and we'll have those ready". I didn't think about the quarantine thing, and that's absolutely my bad. But I did wear my mask and gloves as I ventured into Walgreens. I figured, I should pick up soup and some easy meals anyway, right? I gathered some meals (not good, but wtf can I actually taste? Fuck it.) and wandered to the pharmacy to gather my prescriptions. They called my name on the speaker as I got to the counter. I let them know my name and the girl rang up my various frozen and canned crap while gathering my meds. She scans the medication and stops and asks if I'm the patient.. of course I say yes. She stops, looks at me in disgust and says "you should go through drive thru because then I'll have to disinfect.." I thought it was illegal for pharmacy/medical personnel to judge you based on an illness or condition... so that was a slap in the face. I told her I was already here and would appreciate if she would continue checking me out so I could go home.. she rolled her eyes, walked to the back of the pharmacy and grabbed an alcohol bottle in a huff.. I felt awful. But in that moment I didn't want to lug all my stuff to the front, check out, and sit back in the line for 20-30 more minutes.. because I literally just wanted my meds, soup, and bed. Kind of concerning that they aren't sanitizing between customers and that there wasn't any alcohol wipes or spray within arms reach.. at all. Wonder how COVID is going around again. I got my stuff and fucked off. Remind me NEVER to get my prescriptions filled at this Walgreens EVERY EVER again. read more

The pharmacy staff's customer service is so poor at the coors and sequoia location compared to the other walgreen locations. They do not take the time to help . From now on will transfer all my prescription to another location. read more

If you are an adult pay close attention before shopping here. My wife and I stopped in on a cross country trip to buy some wine to have with dinner. Incredibly, we were denied the purchase because, even though I had my ID, my wife left her purse in the hotel. We are both 60+ and unquestionably not under 21 years old, but the clerk pointed to a sign indicating their policy about people shopping together needing proof of age. Ridiculous! A stupid policy that allows no latitude for reasonable individual judgement. Had I gone in alone - no issue. But by virtue of the clerk seeing my wife and I together - an issue! Not an apology for the inconvenience. Not an offer to ask the store manager to assist and make an appropriate and reasonable decision. Nothing but a big F*** You! This action resulted in two out of town senior citizens having to Yelp a different retailer and drive out of our way because this store's management created an unyielding policy and failed to empower appropriate attention to customer care & service. I truly hope this reaches the the store management and/or Walgreens management. You need to take care of your customers or, as in this case, you lose customers to CVS. I plan to boycott Walgreens until I see an apology response and a remedy describing the corrections they plan to implement for the future. It's inconvenient for me as the Walgreens store in our town is so close to our house, but the CVS is just a bit further. read more

. While traveling on my summer road trip we stopped here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The store set-up is like a typical Walgreens Store. It was located just down the street from our hotel. It was so convenient and refreshing to pick up "this and that" from a store you can trust. The store was clean and organized, with a continuous flow of customers. And, although we did not have a Walgreen's discount card the clerk gave us the discount anyway. After I made a purchase, the manager told me to leave when I had a mild complaint about customer service during my visit. The manager, Mariah, also told me that I was shitty customer. Their management is a joke and they hire idiots that aren't trained nor held accountable for their actions. This IS NOT a 24 hour ANYTHING much less a 24 hr pharmacy. I arrived at the store at 10:30pm to see signs posted "store hours 6am-10pm" ok, so because if covid hours have changed. I get it. But REALLY Is it that hard to change your hours online?? This is HORRIBLE customer service. I needed my medication and really was very unhappy to have to put it off not to mention the fact that I had to FIND A RIDE so I had to put someone else in the picture as well. Someone who went out of their way to take me FOR NOTHING and who now feels obligated to take me tomorrow as well so I don't struggle to find a ride or find bus $. This was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE for everyone involved all because Walgreens is too careless to make a simple change to their online page. WOW. read more

The absolute most ghetto Walgreens in the WORLD! Went in and bought two mini samples to try for a party we are having tomorrow. Came back 25 min later and was told oh we can only sell alcohol to one person once per day. I said we had to sample what was best it's not like I bought fifths? He said sorry Walgreens policy. The pharmacy is consistently understaffed causing an average wait time of 26 minutes to speak to somebody- anybody. Poor management.

I really try to write reviews on places that do a great job and try to keep my negative comments to myself if I believe that someone is having a bad day. However, this is the third time I've had an issue with this pharmacy. The drive-up line will take a good 15-20 minutes, so just go inside. The line is usually 5-7 cars deep, today was 9. My doctor called in a prescription earlier today, I called to verify and they said it was not called in. I called my dr's office back and they said they would send it again. This went back and forth with the pharmacy 2 more times and then they finally confirmed saying, "Oh we've been really busy, no one checked the new orders. It will be ready in a few hours." I showed up 6 hours later and they told me that they didn't fill it because my insurance card expired and it would be $200, so they assumed I wouldn't want it, instead of calling me to confirm insurance. I'm not sure how that happened when I was there the week before and it was fine, turned out someone entered the info incorrectly. They told me to come back in another hour, only to wait in line for another 20 minutes. Use Walgreens' pharmacies, I just don't recommend this one. There's another at Montano and Coors, 3 minutes away, which I'm moving my prescriptions to. read more

I came here for a flu shot. Have you gotten your flu shot yet? You should. Get your flu shot here. It's entirely painless and quick, I'd say the entire ordeal lasted two minutes, save the time I waited for the cool pharmacist to administer it. Otherwise, this is a Walgreens. They sell booze, if you're into that. "On the corner of Happy and Healthy", that's their motto. And they'll sell ya booze and smokes, to boot. But hey, get your flu shot. This is my go to place right before work. Probably because it's across the street from it. Staff is nice and they are well stocked. I like that in the last year and half I haven't had a bad experience with them. I've only been overcharged once. Not too shabby. read more

Horrible, took a prescription there, where they proceeded to ask about my insurance then said come back and it will be filled in an hour. When I go back they tell me "sorry we don't take that insurance here" so therefore I didn't get my prescription and it was too late to go anywhere else. You'd think they would tell you this when they ask the first time. Horrible staff and pharmacy. You'll have better luck getting things done at a closed down pharmacy then here. read more

Sadly enough we always have the same issues with the people in their pharmacy. They always have some kind of attitude and seem short. I know they have plenty of rude individuals coming through but I'm always trying to be that one person that changes that. I'm never rude and I'm always understanding but it doesn't seem to change things. I'll be looking to use another pharmacy in the future due to this. read more
