Sign says breakfast lunch and dinner. Hours on Yelp are wrong. Stopped in to get food at 6pm and turns out they close every day at 3pm. Sucks when you drive a truck and stop at a truck stop diner expecting to be able to get dinner and the spots closed. read more

Very friendly service. Reminded me of a good old diner. We split the burnout burger and basket of fries and each had chocolate milkshake. The milkshake reminded me of the ones we used to get at the drugstore. Fries were "real" fries. Also appreciated they cut burger in half for us and brought it out on two different plates for is. Although the food was nothing to write home about, this little truck stop diner is a pretty decent place for breakfast, with decent prices and large portions. I don't think they're open for dinner although I did hear they were supposed to be. When I drive by at night, I've never seen it. Almost certainly staffing issues in this small town. I've eaten here four to five times in three years. The first couple of times it was awesome. I was happy to find a good restaurant. Then like a year and a half later I came in and those people were gone. The service and quality dived to nothing. The last time I ate there I got an omelette that had the cheese on the outside because? Well it was plasticized. The hashbrowns were cold. The toast was ok. I had diarrhea 30 minutes later on 17 mile road. It was a mess. I won't eat there again! The chicken fried steak was my favorite meal there once. read more

This place did not disappoint. You have to know it's at a truck stop and you walk through a gas station to get to the restaurant. Good home style cooking. Breakfast served all day. Biscuits and gravy were delicious! French toast was a family favorite. Pancakes are HUGE! The burger and fries were solid. Staff was friendly although they didn't seem in any hurry to serve you. That's not saying the service was slow just that the servers didn't seem rushed which gave a very calming at home kinda feel. The dinning area was small but roomy. The large windows cascade you in the morning light as you drink your coffee you seem to melt away in relaxation. Jody our server brought out all our food at the same time and never let our coffee cups run dry. She had an easy smile and I felt like I was in a kitchen in someone's home. The food completed that feeling with its home cooked taste. Each bite a small escape from the day. Nothing great. Okay but nothing to brag about. Not super happy but edible, wouldn't go back if I could avoid it.

I have been here 3-4 times, and everytime has been very good. Generally come for breakfast when in town, once for lunch. All meals have been good and consistent. The advantage of this place is that it is often quiet. I Have not eaten here a lot and some who have say the service at lunch is too slow. It is mis-categorized as chinese as it is a general cafe. Location is good for someone coming into Riverton from the south. Good place for a trucker as there is lots of parking and you can fuel up.
