They did have fresh wash a squeegee which was great, but should be expected. I utilized the restroom in the Duchess convenience store and it was passable with minor debris and cleaning needed. The store offered a lot including a walk in beer cooler. A three stars fits my visit best.

I have never felt more embarrassed in my life than now! I had to call my mom just to bring in a roll of paper from the women bathroom because the guys bathroom didn't have any!!! Last week, we stopped for gas while on a road trip from Columbus to Mammoth Cave NP. My husband's credit card dropped after paying at the pump. We didn't discover that it was gone until we'd arrived at our motel for the evening in Seaman. Fortunately, the Shoppe's phone number was on the receipt. I called and learned that a VERY HONEST PERSON had retrieved the card and brought it into the store for safekeeping. Another hero! The very nice lady who answered the phone advised me to call in the a.m. when Jackie would be on duty. I did. Jackie was a delight to talk to, and promised to mail the card to our home when she went to the bank that afternoon. She did - and confirmed with another phone call. We arrived home Saturday evening, and the envelope was in our collected mail at the post office on Monday. You know, I never even went into the Shoppe, as I wasn't hungry or thirsty - but I know that it has to be a good place because it's run by my new hero, Jackie. Too bad we live in California and the commute for a fill-up & a milkshake is just a bit far. Jackie, thanks a million!
