It could and probably does serve as event/gathering space. When I entered inside mid Wednesday morning, I encountered a Museum-like vibe. Unsure if there should be some exhibits for me to view and ponder while I debate what coffee to buy. I proceeded to get a latte with a little hazelnut flavor, medium size. Latte with oat milk ($1 up charge and hazelnut 35 cent up charge) medium size was $8. I wonder if more of the profit is from these non dairy milk surcharges or the coffee itself. I would say the latte was one of the better ones. It was smooth and not too sweet. Sometimes they're too sweet. The service was good, and it wasn't particularly busy so the coffee came out in like 5 minutes. There are small pastries to try and other specialty drinks. I would consider trying this again given the taste quality of the latte. The medium size was also sufficient. Not too small. 8/10

I had my three year old with me so we ordered the blackberry brown sugar latte and a kids hot chocolate. She picked out a blueberry muffin and I had a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. That muffin? Excellent. I was honestly a little jealous I couldn't steal it from her. My sandwich was great, exactly what you'd expect from the name. I really enjoyed the latte! It's not a flavor I'd normally go for and almost went for the cookie butter latte but I'm glad I tried something new. As for the hot chocolate--I've never seen my child finish a hot chocolate. Ever. She inhaled it. The shop itself was way bigger than I expected. Super welcoming and open with plenty of space and seating. It was pretty crowded but there was also still plenty of seating. We ended up sitting close to the register (I let my daughter choose where we sat) and the people behind the register were on top of it. One person overheard me tell my daughter I needed to go ask for a to go box and they grabbed one without me having to even get up. They were very kind and attentive! I really appreciated how welcoming the atmosphere was. I'm looking forward to going back soon!

I'm just trying to save you the frustration of trying to find this coffee shop, so you don't drive around and around like I did. Rivet and the car dealership are kinda one and the same. I came to kick the tires on this new-to-me coffee shop, so to speak. I've been to Rivet's Westfield location, which is cute and rustic. The Zionsville location is more sleek and sophisticated, with high ceilings, modern furniture and a lot of expensive vehicles surrounding it. This place was bustlin' when I visited around 11 a.m. on a weekday, and I managed to grab the only table that wasn't occupied. Lots of people were working remotely, and that's what I was there to do, too. Wifi is free and relatively fast, considering. The wifi password is taped to the register. I just got a cup of black coffee and a chocolate chip walnut scone. Both were really great, especially together. Rivet also has a menu of breakfast and lunch items, many of which looked very tasty. One thing to note is that because there are high ceilings at this coffee shop, the sound carries really well. When I visited, there were lots of people and almost all of the tables were occupied, so there was a lot of noise and general din circulating throughout. But the lighting was nice, as it was mostly natural light coming through the tall windows that lined the front of the coffee shop.

It is a bit challenging to find parking but there are a few spots in front. I parked down the street and walked which is always an option. There are a few stairs to get in but also a ramp, and the set up has a nice aisle like space for the line and plenty of tables and chairs. It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! It is a very busy spot so not the friendliest of staff, but assumed they were already hassled from the morning. It was a great spot to meet a friend and enjoy the patio and some tea/coffee. I would for sure go back and even bring a friend! In fact I've already mentioned it to several people as a potential meet up spot! Definitely something to enjoy!

Started with Ika Geso Kara-Age: crispy but soft at same time with good flavor; Popcorn chicken: very tender meat with good after taste in the batter. These 2 doesn't even need a sauce to enjoy. The shrimp tempura is just ok, it's something you can get at Trader Joe's (it's exactly the same). The main courses are Shoyu chicken ramen: the soup is so good and flavorful. That aftertaste that hits the back part of the palate. The Pork Tonkatsu Omurice combo: presentation was great, the sauce wasn't overwhelming and actually made everything good. The menu is overwhelming, but everything we had was great and very filling. Definitely will come back. Service was attentive but not intruding. It's also great to have a call button in the huts. It wasnt overly crowded or busy but there were a few people inside. Upon entering you see this very large wooden tree with many signs hanging from them. I was intrigued but wanted to wait to be seated b4 exploring. To the left the seating looks like honey combs as does the ceiling in some spots. Everything about the atmosphere was inviting. You feel transported to another place with the very creative design. We all had ramen bowls of some kind, the flavor profiles all unique but flavorful as well. We had some time to catch up while awaiting our food but service was quick. The amazing lemonade was extremely refreshing... the cucumber added a wonderful palette cleanser. I loved my ramen but the popcorn chicken was the star of the show for me because it was seasoned to perfection. After our dining was complete we had the opportunity to leave a piece of us behind by writing quotes to leave hanging from the big wooden tree. Reading others quotes were quite entertaining... All in all would definitely return, looking forward to some time soon.
