He started talking to the other customers about me going into the bathroom with my daughter. My husband asked him to mind his business. He astold my husband that it's his store and he could do whatever he wants, and then started, shoving his badge in my husband's face which is completely unacceptable and not OK !!!! By the time we ended up paying for our items he was swearing at us and telling us that he can't wait for us to write him up because it's his that nothing will happen to him. The other cashier working there from 4 to 12. He was really respectful. Check this out with no problem and apologize for the whole situation and said that he normally doesn't work with the person and said that he hopes we have a good night. I explained to acting Mgr. that I needed air in tires and now didn't want to step in urine to do so. I was dismissed. She said she'd watch video and call cops had they done what I reported. I called 30 minutes later to be told by acting Mgr. that she didn't call cops, nor UCONN and that she couldn't work video tape machine. So what do we learn from this you ask? Well if you have to urinate, do so on the Shell building on Branch Avenue in Providence, just don't spend any money there. Be careful though, there's a Boy's and Girl's Club next door.

Okay ... so I drive by here fairly often and have long wanted to check this place out. Signs advertise hamburgers, fried chicken and French fries. I stopped in around 10 a.m., so the deli / fast food part of the store was closed, but I was at least able to check out the rest of the store. My first impression was that the store did not appear very clean. The small coffee station was rather messy, and the floor and glass could have used a thorough cleaning. They have a basic selection of drinks, snacks and grocery items, although their frozen food section was very sparse. A sign inside advertised a selection of about a half-dozen sandwiches for only $4.95, but I was put off when I saw a full, uncovered trash can next to the deli - who knows how long that trash had been there, since it could not have been full from this morning. So although the sandwich prices looked appealing, the surroundings did not. About the only positives I observed there were good prices on energy drinks such as Kickstart (2 for $3), and hella cheap gas.

An employee connected my car to a diagnostic machine and told me my check engine light was on and that there were nine additional codes, even though my check engine light was not illuminated on the dashboard. I asked if any of those codes were safety-related and whether they were the reason my vehicle would not pass the safety inspection. My question was not answered. Instead, I was repeatedly told to put "100% alcohol" in my gas tank, drive the car, and come back. I returned shortly after without making any changes to my vehicle, and the same employee checked it again and said there was now only one code. I explained that I simply wanted the inspection completed and that if it failed emissions but passed safety, I would handle it with the DMV because my vehicle's age qualifies it for an exception. I was then told the inspection could not be completed because the safety inspector was not there, even though I observed inspections being performed at the same time. I left and went to another Rhode Island inspection station. I did not mention what happened previously, and my vehicle was inspected without anyone bringing up the issues I was told about at this location. I am leaving this review because I believe customers deserve clear answers, accurate information, and fair treatment when using a state-authorized inspection station.
