Normally, I wouldn't combine the words "feng shui" and "Cumberland Farms" in the same sentence, but, of all the newer-generation Cumberland Farms stores I've visited, this one has probably the best layout I've seen so far. It's a very visually appealing design - not your typical square or rectangular box - but despite the angles and jogs of the interior floor plan, it all flows in a logical manner. It has a huge parking lot, although I had to make my own parking space since all the regular spaces were taken. It's no surprise this Cumby's is popular - it's clean and inviting, with a seating area inside, where a few construction workers were hanging out this morning, discussing pay and benefits (they sounded like union guys). I don't know what's up with the Star Trek photos associated with this business, but one thing that immediately impressed me were the automatic, sliding doors (a la Star Trek). Every other Cumby's I've visited has doors you have to manually push or pull open. The men's bathroom was clean, although I did notice an oddity: some joker put a label over the motion sensor for the urinal's automatic flush valve, so that it would not flush after using the urinal. As I walked around the coolers, trying to decide on what to drink, I spotted a crumpled paper on the floor. A couple seconds later, a young male employee greeted me, and then, as if he'd read my mind, he stooped down to pick up the paper on the floor - very impressive! While getting a coffee, I overheard other employees who were in the prepared foods area engaging in ... wait for it ... teamwork! Holy crap, what a concept - at a Cumby's, no less! I might've given this Cumby's five stars, but the cashier made a major faux pas. My purchase came to $7.77, and I gave her two $5 bills. She was so fixated on the triple sevens ("Too bad this wasn't a slot machine," I said, just to humor her), that she was unable to produce the correct change. It think she just put my two bills in the cash drawer, and then shut the drawer. Evidently, she forgot the common practice of putting the bill or bills that a customer gives you, on top of the drawer, while you count the change (and she was an older woman, who should know better). She even pulled out a calculator at one point, and then actually asked me how much money I gave her. Yikes! Also, she was very slow ringing out customers before me. I'm thinking she's probably not suited for a job as a cashier. But, she'd probably be a good greeter at a nail salon, as she was personable, and had nails (a French manicure with fuschia tips) that were way too fancy for a cashier.

The air pump card reader is broken and can't accept cards which is pretty lame in my opinion

Do not buy food from this place and if you do, check the dates. I've made that mistake too many times. Hershey squirt city, here I come!

I stop here a few times a week, so I'm pretty familiar with this particular Cumby's.

It is one of those things where I could be coasting on empty and still wonder how much farther I could go without having to stop... simply because I don't feel like stopping to fill up. In any case, from time to time, I find myself pulling into this Sunoco with the "E" lightbulb burning bright. If I can help it, I usually do not stop at this gas station; the sole reason being that it is by far, one of the more expensive stations in the area. Located at an off-ramp of 195, this location benefits by their real estate in luring desperate drivers into the convenience of filling up right off the interstate. There are other stations within a couple minutes drive with prices significantly cheaper, but more out of the way location-wise. This is the only gas station I pass every morning on my way to work and when I simply know I can't make it there on the fumes remaining in my tank, I'll pull in. Two stars instead of one because the pumps are quite quick with dispensing gas... highly appreciated on those chilly, wintery mornings when I wish I could just go back to bed. Another highlight is their Dunkin Donuts on location which often mentally eases the burden of the punch this place packs on my wallet. Pleasant staff, plenty of parking for the convenience store.

This was my meter after. My car has a 15 gallon tank. Went back, asked if they made a mistake. The gas attendant Charlie insisted he gave me $20. He said he'd show me the receipt so I went inside and the owner asked me for my keys to see the meter then tried to tell me I had more than half a tank of gas in my car. I guess he thinks I'm an idiot. Meanwhile Charlie got belligerent and shouted "You think I cheated you?" Yep, I sure do. I'll never go there again. If you do, and you pay cash, get a receipt!!! They never did show me mine. Absolute scum.

While I don't normally drive in the area of this business, I appreciated passing this place and its well-displayed signs for: "5 cent off Fridays!" As a Rhode Islander, I've long since grown to love my trips into Massachusetts as I find gas to be significantly cheaper. . . often times as much as a 10 cent difference! With the additional 5 cents off, this made my fill up only slightly more than I end up paying with my grocery store discount at other locations. This is a Full Service station (something I don't often encounter either). I also enjoyed this as its a rainy and somewhat snowy Friday in April. Service was quick, the parking lot is a relatively easy in and out. Try using the exit on Arcade Ave, as the one on Route 44 is very difficult to pull out onto due to the large intersection. Gas attendant was very attentive and quick. Credit cards are accepted. While I didn't use these services, the website advertises this location as having an ATM, convenience store, and diesel fuel. Speaking of the website. . . fill out their survey and get a $5 amazon.com gift card about your experience on the site! Not a bad deal! Perhaps, if I find myself driving through the area on a Friday and in need of gas, I will choose this station over the other two in the immediate area as I did today.
