There is only 1 cash register open between the hours of 5-7 but once the clock strikes 8 you are in luck because the next shift rolls in with additional help and presto-3 registers are now fully functional. If you are grabbing donuts be sure to verify the price. Most of the time donuts are $1.59 but upon checkout they will ring up as a dollar more. Not to worry- employees will honor the price listed and are more than happy to assist you. Note- don't be that person who pays with change and falls 10 cents short then proceeds with an outburst. Although I've decided that the McDiet Coke from McDonald's is the best, the Diet Coke at Hart's is close second. I have this very specific blend of my Coke cocktail, and it comes out perfect at this Harts. Have you noticed a lot of gas stations don't have very good syrup to put in their fountain drinks? You squirt in some vanilla syrup, and it's just sticky brown water? Or the cherry syrup is factory rejected cough syrup? Not at Hart's! The cups have cute hearts printed on them, and the lid is red - it's just a little detail but it makes my 52oz vats of carbonated goodness a little happier. The donuts there are also great - double chocolate Dunford Donuts that are so fresh, the icing is still soft and gooey. As I walk up to the register, I catch up on the morning gossip with the sweet and chatty ladies up front. They're so friendly, and I think they've given me a personal compliment every time I come to the register. I think I might be as addicted to that attention as the drink I'm purchasing. My main complaint about Hart's is the location and parking. The gas pumps are on the diagonal, and in the mornings the parking lot is a mad mess of cars and delivery trucks. It can be tough to get back onto westbound 7200 South to the freeway.

My dad loves the quick food options..... me, I'm still on the fence about gas station food, but I do love those damn raspberry filled donuts they sell by the box! This is the closest convience store to my house, yet I am going to pass by it everytime. I have…read morenever felt comfortable in the parking lot, day or night. There is always a gorup in front of the door smoking or just hanging out (usually it is employess and their friends).The extra parking on the south side makes it easier to park, but will I get mugged on my way into the store? Last night I came over about 10. They had 2 cashiers when I walked in. After I got my sprite and went to the counter one of them had disappeared. He was in the cigarette section behind the counter. He looked up, saw 2 people in line and walekd off towards the back. Soon there was 6 people in line and the one workign cashier stepped away from the counter to talk to 2 firends and a delivery guy. At least I know who is more imprtant. The store always looks cluttered almost like things do not have places. No answer. She 30 seconds later banged on the freaking door again, and said "we have people waiting!" Just so embarrassing that I was rushed out of the restroom. I wasnt the only one that was in the store and heard him call her derogatory names. I stood in line to pay for my drink while he and another cashier complained about the customer and then they helped me after they blew up steam. I know its 7Eleven and not the place where they roll out the red carpet, but yelling profanities at a customer doesnt endear me to go there again.
