After getting to vent +1 to a Yelp Experience here, my husband has been wanting to come back. So we came for dinner last Friday night, since his original plan fell through. I completely devoured all of my food. The Shoyu beef ramen was sooooooooo good!!! The staff was attentive and helpful, and the food came out quickly! It wasn't too busy when we went, but there were a couple of other tables filled. It made for a nice environment. I don't know if I missed it before, but I appreciated the umbrellas on display. We'll be back again!
We had been eyeing this place for a while and used our Wasatch Savings to go grab some lunch with our kids. All of the dumplings we had were amazing. I almost couldn't get a picture because we ate them so fast. The Ramen is out of this world, it is so large and my husband and I had no problem splitting it. The food is really tasty and well done and it has a very large dining room. This is probably my favorite Ramen place. I've tried in the valley.
I went back again today and decided to try the vegan miso ramen. I wasn't expecting the dumplings to be green, but they tasted like basil so it was understandable. I couldn't drink the water, though--it tasted horrible. The ramen was good, but this place still gives me weird vibes.
I had never been to ramen legend before and it didn't disappoint. My cousin got a spicy curry ramen. I usually get a pork broth ramen but decided to try something new. I got a chicken broth ramen and it had fried chicken in it. The fried chicken was great and crispy. My 1 year old daughter also loved it! I would definitely order it again!
The food was honestly pretty good. My cousin and I got some dumplings and sushi but we got terrible food poisoning. The service was also not the best. We're still dealing with terrible food poisoning and it's the only thing that we ate in common
We love this area. There is great shopping, great food, and a big park we love to bring our golden retriever to. We spent our Saturday afternoon doing just that, and got lunch here at Ramen Legend. The service was very attentive and the food came out insanely fast. We ordered shoyu beef ramen (ramen was comped through a yelp elite event), the sea dragon roll, and mango chicken wings. All were delicious. The sea dragon roll especially hit the spot for me, I love anything with unagi. So delicious. Great little spot in Sugarhouse. Recommend.
The sheer amount of food options, people. I haven't seen such an extensive menu in a while! The bubble tea did take a while, but it was well worth the wait. They have honeydew and popping boba, my favorites. I got the curry ramen, and it was good. The noodles are homemade and certainly taste fresh, the broth is better spicy (I can't handle spice most days sadly) but the portions were very generous, with half of my table taking home leftovers! The atmosphere is very conducive to social groups and if you want ramen, sushi, or a noodle dish, you're golden here!

I tried the vegetarian ramen with kimchi and it was amazing, though QUITE spicy for my taste!! The service was also very fast, even during a busy night, and our waitress was kind and polite! Highly recommend it here!
Súper easy underground parking with validation. No one there at 12:30 on a Monday. Quick friendly service. My 2 friends shared an order of spring rolls and the soup dumplings and each got their own order of beef dumplings and they were very happy with the food and how full they were and the price they paid. I got the pork pairan ramen with gluten-free noodles. The waitress said although they have gf noodles, the meat has gluten in it. I told her it was fine but I know it wouldn't be for a lot of you out there. I thought the ramen was fine and I was not full afterward so kinda bummed in contrast to how my friends felt. Order like them if you can!
I really do not like giving low marks but this was one of the most awkward dining experiences ever. We walked in on a Thursday night at 630 to just a few tables filled so figured it would be quick dinner with our baby. We saved the qr code that took us to an app to place an order and pay. We started putting the items in and the server came over and repeated the items we ordered so I didn't send the order through the link. I wanted to add an order of edamame but my existing order was not even in there anymore so I just went and told her personally. She brought out our tea, edamame and agedashi tofu. There were a few other items she was about to place on our table but I told her we didn't order them. Later she comes back yelling at us in broken English that the tofu wasn't ours. After our apps were long gone I reminded her about the two ramen we ordered. She's comes to our table and starts slamming order tickets on our table stating that she does not see our order only the edamame was connected to our table. I go with her to the kiosk and again nothing. What doesn't make sense was she had read our order back earlier and knew to bring us the two hot teas we ordered but now all of a sudden the only thing on our ticket was the edamame. She tried talking to me in Chinese but I had to tell her I wasn't Chinese. So she then takes our order manually. I ordered the spicy curry ramen with kale noodles and my husband ordered the black garlic ramen. My ramen didn't come out with kale noodles and when I told her she said it was. I told her again it wasn't, so she started yelling at me that I should tell her before which I did! Needless to say we won't be returning. The only items that were good were the agadashi tofu and the edamame. The ramen was not spicy even though the name states that it's "spicy" the meat tasted off. I usually finish my entire bowl when I get ramen, but I couldn't even finish it this time. I understand they are short staffed during this time but when we left there were just 3 tables. Although I'm sure take out takes a lot of their time it does not justify slamming order tickets and yelling at me when their system is a complete failure.
Solid ramen experience. Everything about this place is authentic. From the atmosphere to the food and from the workers to the artwork. I was impressed with Sue's friendly service. Ramen was out quickly. I tried the shrimp wonton ramen and hubby had the killer vegan. I enjoyed the two shrimp but they get soggy fast in a bowl of vegetable broth. It was heavy on the udon noodles and light on the veggies. The vegan ramen was killer spicy at medium, so I shared some of my mild vegetable broth to tone it down. The vegan bowl had tofu and kimchi and veggies with kale noodles. Was it the best ever, probably not. But, it was tasty and filling.
Came here for lunch with my family specifically for soup dumplings on a Friday! There was no one else in the restaurant besides us. We requested a booth, the host/waitress said she had to clean and wipe down the table. When ordering, we weren't seeing all of the options on our phone and she replied with "It shows on mine." Had to ask for chopsticks and such. As for the soup dumplings, you can clearly see which ones have actual soup and which ones don't. Waited about 15-20 minutes for them as well. We also ordered taro & strawberry milk tea, when we got the receipt the pricing was higher than it was on the drink menu. I came here when I found out they first had soup dumplings and don't remember my experience being anything near like it was today.
For 2, order 1 bowl of ramen (big enough to share) and 2 orders of soup dumplings (6 in each). I come here for soup dumplings since they're tedious to make at home. It hits the spot, but I wouldn't say they're amazing. I've visited a few times ordering different appetizers (agedashi tofu, gyoza, buns, and takoyaki) and ramen (pork, miso pork, black garlic ramens). I have yet to try the sushi and rice bowls. Everything I've had so far is good and the prices aren't bad; typical of most ramen places. It's never too crowded during the weekdays for lunch. They're friendly and service is great; they check up on you throughout your visit. Ambience is nice; it's never too loud, even when the place is 1/2 full.
While looking for late-night eats in SLC, Ramen Legend caught my eye. While some of the reviews were mixed, the photos looked promising. Since it was late, parking was a breeze. We parked in the lot by Barnes & Noble and walked over. The interior of the restaurant was super cute, and I loved the tall ceiling. There was plenty of seating and I liked the open kitchen. I've always enjoyed watching kitchen staff work their magic while preparing our dishes. We were greeted and seated promptly. I already had an idea of what I wanted to order, and so did my husband. We were here strictly for the ramen, but there are also rice bowls and sushi if ramen isn't your thing. I went with the mega pork ramen and added black garlic oil, while my husband went with the tan tan men. While we waited, we watched as several other parties also arrived for a late dinner. Even though there was only one server, she was quite efficient. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive, and we were eager to dig in. We asked for chili powder on the side, which our server was a little confused about, but finally understood and brought us some in a little dish. I was a little surprised they didn't have the powder at each table like at other ramen restaurants I've been to. I immediately noticed the layer of oil (not the black garlic oil, the red oil) on top of both of our ramen. It was thicker than I would have liked, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and mixed it in with the rest of the broth. The flavor of the broth was fine. It was decent if this was your first experience with ramen, but as someone who has had plenty of top tier ramen spots in the Bay Area and Sacramento, the broth wasn't memorable. Honestly, the layer of oil was also what threw the balance off. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and the meat was tender. My favorite cut was the pulled pork chashu. The egg was yolky but not as seasoned as a proper ajitama should have been. My husband had similar remarks about his tan tan men, but at least we agreed that both of our bowls, while not spectacular, were consistent and cohesive as dishes. Ramen Legend, to us, seemed like the kind of spot that attracts patrons due to its centralized location, but it was definitely not the best ramen I've had. read more
It was okay. We liked the flavor of the wings and fried dumplings. The spicy curry ramen was nice, the flavor was milder than I expected but decent. I really disliked the kimchi ramen. It was so sour that it almost tasted spoiled. I would not recommend the kimchi ramen. I think its a decent restaurant in the area but the menu could use some editing so that they can focus on developing richer flavors for the remaining menu items. read more
Being down here in Sugar House, it's so nice having Ramen Legend nearby -- it's walking distance for us and always hits the spot. We stopped in for a quick lunch today and, as usual, everything was perfect. I went with the wonton ramen and added pork -- rich, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. My other half had the Sunrise Roll with a side of miso soup, and we finished with hot jasmine tea. Service was friendly and fast, prices are super reasonable, and the food is consistently great every time we visit. Definitely one of our go-to neighborhood favorites whenever we're in the mood for ramen! read more

So the restaurant is a cute small space, no parking as it's in a strip mall, but it's easy enough to park across the street. Staff was fine, you order yourself through a QR code and personally I don't love that. Bathroom was clean. And then the food. I really liked the ramen, if you like a big portion of noodles you will like this. Broth was pretty flavorful and I left stuffed. read more

Saw this place on tik tok and figured we'd give it a whirl. This place looked really good on the interwebs. I feel like this place was a bit pricey. The food to price ratio in my opinion wasn't on point. This place is in Sugar house, so that may be the cause. One thing I loved! I was able to order everything online. Pay and be able to leave without much interaction from the staff. The place was not packed on a Friday night at 7pm. But people started trickling in after we arrived. Parking in underneath the building. Make sure your get the parking validation. The food, was good. I would say it was a pretty normal ramen. Nothing WOWd me except for the pork in the Mega Pork. It was fall apart good. The ambiance was ok. Nothing spectacular I'm my opinion. read more

Okay. Now that I am done stuffing my face I can write something as I wait for the Spousal Unit to slowly work her way through hers. The ramen is very good and really filling. I am good for the rest of today as my stomach feels like I ate too much. Granted we are here during lunch and it is during these delightful times, but the place is pretty quiet. Which is good. Quiet is the best for a meal. The food came much quicker than I expected. Not a complaint. More I am impressed by the efficiency of the kitchen. This is a good place to eat. read more
So to get to the restaurant you have to go into the underground parking and take the elevator up that will take you back outside. The restaurant is down on your right. We started out with the spring rolls. They were deep fried with a sweet sauce on the side. Wow, that sauce was so good! The rolls were moist and flavorful too. A great start to any meal. I got the black garlic ramen, it was delicious. More savory than the regular ramen but I liked it. It was enjoyable, the broth creamy with a great mouth feel. There even looked to be herbs in it; that I really liked. The watermelon smoothie is fantastic! It has watermelon and apples in it but the flavor is all watermelon. The boba is cooked perfectly with none of them sticking together; that I really liked and made pulling them into the straw easy. I would like to come back here. read more

Ordered Uber eats. Presentation was nice. Definitely didn't skimp on the meat or veggies. Really needed more broth though. Atleast fill the container up. The broth was pretty bland and no deep flavor. Veggie potsticker probably would have been very good hadn't I ordered delivery so they were fresh from the pan. I like that they were pan fried and not deep fried. read more
I've been to a lot of Ramen places around town. See my list. Ramen Legend may not be one yet, but it has the potential. We came during somewhat off hours and had plenty of space to ourselves. We tried several versions of the Ramen, along with the softshell crab bao buns. It was excellent. Each broth had an excellent depth of flavor. You can see the eggs are cooked perfectly, and properly marinated. The chashu was melt in the mouth. The other mix-ins, so to speak, are all well thought out and nice additions. This place is run a lot closer to the Japanese style than you normally see, and the food follows. This is better than many of the places that currently have bigger names locally. read more
I like eating Ramen anytime, but this time of the year in winter is the best time. I was around this area and we were craving ramen. This place pops out and it is amazing!!! It tastes so authentic. We ordered the Mega Pork Ramen, Fire Beef Ramen and Goyza as our appetizer. We also got hot tea. The ramen was so delicious, for Fire Beef Ramen I asked to have the Chili on the side but I ended up pouring everything. The tea came in an authentic Japanese cast iron tea pot; it was so cool. Tip: If you don't know how to eat with chopsticks, you can ask for a fork lol. I really don't know how to use them, but I was trying my best lol. There's an underground parking and they can validate your parking. The parking entrance is in front of the restaurant. read more
I had to. On my Quest to find my favorite Tonkatsu. I ignored all reviews and just sat at the counter and jumped in! Service at the door was warm. I chose to order off of the scanned code (use it if you can, restaurants are still short staffed). Ordered, paid and tipped all at once. Ramen came out in decent time. Looks, smelled and tasted great. Great portion also. The place has lots of space and outdoor dining. Artwork is simple and cool to look at. I kind of wish there was some kind of music to drown out the conversation of the two people next to me on a Tinder date but hey...now I gotta wonder how it worked out! I can see myself returning a few more times. I personally liked it, not my favorite but it's worth the stop. read more
Came here with my friend because I heard so much about the place. It is in the heart of sugar house. Very easy to find. If you do park in the garage, don't forget to get a parking pass. If you do, it will cost you. I usually park across the street at Whole Foods. Much easier and you don't need to care for a parking pass. Coming to ramen legend, I obviously needed to get ramen. So I ordered the spicy pork ramen. I did add on extra corn to mine. The ramen wasn't super impressive. It was good, but it would just be a regular bowl of ramen from anywhere. My egg was lacking flavor, and slightly more cooked than what I'm used to. The noodles themselves is my favorite because they have a chew to them. Great texture. Service was alright. It's funny watching someone who came in 15 mins after you, gets way better service than you do, and also get their food way quicker than you do...the reasoning behind it? Well she was dating the waiter. But our waitress was good, just very hard to get the attention of, especially when they're was only two other table. read more

When I tell you run I mean RUN to this hidden gem in Salt Lake City! This cozy and modern restaurant has a beautiful decor and ambiance that makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the steamed beef dumplings that are soft, juicy, and full of flavor. They are the absolute showstopper at this restaurant and you MUST get them! They go perfectly with the ramen bowls that are rich, hearty, and satisfying. I highly recommend the killer kimchi ramen if you like spicy food, or the curry and fried chicken rice bowl if you want something different but equally delicious. Everything is fresh, delicious, and well-presented. Ramen Legend is a must-try for anyone & everyone. You won't regret it! read more

We had a delicious meal from Ramen Legend! We went when the restaurant first opened several years ago and I didn't remember much of it. Having now gone back again, I remember why I love it! Ramen legend has an excellent selection of appetizers and ramen. We got the agadashi tofu, tonkatsu ramen, black garlic ramen, and karaage. Watch the bonito flakes come to life in the video! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The ordering system was pretty simple to use as you just scan the QR code and then pay and place your order through the website. I ordered the unagi-don. Definitely not worth $17. The taste is okay but it was just one tiny slice of unagi. After 1 minute I'm just eating plain rice for 15 min. Way overpriced. I'm loving the vibe at Ramen Legend. Great service. Yummy food. Nothing Bad to say about Ramen Legend. I'm sad they are not allowed to sell liquor. the DABC wouldn't give them a liquor license. The guy that was working when I went in to eat was sad and understandably upset. I asked him, What is there reason for them to deny you the license? They say it's to close to the library. Um okay that's BS. The underwhelming steak house right next door has one and the wing place that is next to Ramen Legend has one. Really not cool DABC. Look at a map and see how messed up this is. The guy that works there feels like it's because he is Asian. I would feel the same way. hopefully they can get help with making a case as to why the denial isn't fair. read more
My friends and I were near Sugarhouse on a Sunday looking for a lunch spot when we stumbled upon Ramen Legend. Their name says it all...LEGENDary. We each ordered a bowl of ramen for ourselves and shared a couple appetizers. The food came out fast, piping hot, and full of flavor. I would highly recommend you try Ramen Legend if you're a ramen lover. read more
