Long story short the pumps here are the slowest I've ever seen. Took 10 minutes for 14 gallon tank.

I'm so happy that we've finally got a locally-run coffee shop for the neighborhood! Karol Coffee…read morejust celebrated their one-year anniversary this spring, and they've established themselves so well. Their staff are so kind and welcoming, and their drinks high-quality with fresh beans. My parents say they're so spoiled on Karol's excellent drip coffee, they can no longer drink Starbucks and Caribou brews. I'm a latte-lover and love to see what their specials are. Current fav is the Girl Scout caramel delight-inspired. They get very creative with their flavors, such as their Garden Cookie Latte made with a rosemary sea salt and mocha syrup. This shop is also very kid-friendly, with a play area inside and outside. Fun Fact: Named after Karol Józef Wojtyła, better known as Pope John Paul II. Parking: free street parking, just know it's across the street from a school, so drive slow!

Tucked away in a cozy residential neighborhood, the cafe has a really warm and homey atmosphere, almost like you're visiting someone's house. The Garden Latte had a stronger rosemary flavor, which was definitely noticeable. The breakfast sandwich was yummy, and the Sparkling Blackberry Iced Tea was super refreshing! Overall, such a cute spot for a weekend breakfast or coffee run.

There are so many flavor choices that there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. Cons: the menu is slightly confusing. No sundaes (I don't believe?) and how to order and how many mix ins are not very clear unless you ask the question. They need a "how to" board for placing an order or a better description of what things are. Mix ins are charged by item after the first one (although not marked as such). Service is spotty and orders are not filled in the order they are received. Half our party was done before the other half of the group of 6 was served. Seating is limited and dirty. Price is ok....a little on the high side. Overall, I would return but not sure if it would be often. Just glad to have this as an option in the neighborhood.

I took a photo of the hours so they are clear. I tried the butterscotch sprinkler for my first time. I'm a huge ice cream lover and have had my fair share of ice cream. I honestly thought the soft serve was pretty bland and the same was true for the butterscotch drizzle. I thought maybe my allergies were to blame, but my partner tried it and agreed that it was very bland. I'm willing to try something different in the future to see if it was one off. I think their prices are pretty fair compared to other locations.

A gem!! Located across the street from Hamline University, Ginkgo offers great coffee drinks,…read moresandwiches, breakfast items, baked goods, and a welcoming environment. Best part? Open until 8 pm many evenings!! As a night owl, I appreciate any coffee shop that has extended hours past a typical shop. The service is always hands on and staff members are quick to move lines along and take orders right away. Having a presence at both CHS Field and the MN State Fair, I am all about supporting this local Saint Paul shop. Inside the shop, there are always unique gifts to purchase such as cards, jewelry, painting, t-shirts, etc. I always advocate for shopping small especially for holidays and birthdays. When I stopped in on Wednesday evening, to my surprise, there was an open mic music night and I enjoyed listening to all the artists. I recommend checking the website to keep up with with all the happening. Lastly, there is a nice parking lot around the backside of the building along with a cute patio for the warmer months. Enjoy!!

I had no idea such a neat place was on Snelling!…read more I really like that they have their own parking, and space feels nice and cozy. The cashier was very kind and answered all my questions. I had the root beer float and a breakfast burrito with turkey sausage. I know that sounds weird, but the heart wants what the heart wants. - I enjoyed the root beer float, but I would have liked a bit more ice cream. It was decent for the price. - I did find the burrito a bit bland. The salsa helped, but I think hot sauce would have really kicked it up a notch. Overall, I would come back and maybe try some more of the menu.
