That should be one of the first things they are taught when you put them on the register. I know this, because I'm a business owner myself. I knew I should have dumped it out on the counter and rebagged it... But there was a line behind me, and I was in a hurry. I got home, got halfway to my gate, when the handle ripped off... So I grabbed it from the bottom with both hands... But by the time I got to my steps, the heavy stuff on the top fell forward, the bag ripped completely open, and stuff started falling out. I lost my balance, tripped up my front step and fell on all fours, cutting my knee open in the process. Now I'm bleeding, my wrist hurts, my shampoo bottle is cracked open, it smashed a bag of chips, leaked everywhere, and I'm pissed, because a 5 minute lesson from good management could have prevented this!!
