Let me start by saying they don't even deserve the 1 star I gave. I went to go use their free vacuums, but I was having trouble getting to them. After my third time of trying to get to the vacuum I gave up and asked an employee for help. The guy just kept saying "this isn't where the vacuums are" like obviously they're not here, I'm asking you for help. He then proceeded to say "why don't you just get a car wash, your car is so dirty" which I thought was rude and unnecessary, to which I said, "I don't have the money for a $30 car wash, if I did I wouldn't be here using your free vacuums" After he couldn't tell me where the vacuums where and was rude to me, I just ended up leaving. Do not go here if you just need to vacuum your car. Go literally anywhere else this place is just a waste of time with bonehead employees running it. read more

I asked to have the car detailed, paid $85 and, other than the mats, nothing was done to the interior. No dust removed, seats, side doors, nothing shined, not detailed inside - not even clean. I would have gladly paid more for better service. When I phoned to ask for a redo, the gentleman was, at best, condescending and very rude. I've been through this car wash probably 100 times. I even on one of their monthly memberships which cost $19. Never ever gets the car completely clean. Today paid a little extra for the tire and wheel and bottom blast package had to run the car through twice. Even ask the guy at the entrance to spray it off and some smart ass older guy he's just trying to rush people through he's a rude son of a bitch. I have attached a copy of one of my towels from wiping off the bottom and sides of my car and this is after the SECOND trip thru the tunnel. I'll be canceling my monthly club membership for my truck as my truck is never clean and neither is my car. Disappointing experience. When I pulled in, the service guy said there were too many car wash options for him to list so I should tell him what I want. I wanted an inside and outside cleaning of my car. He tried to upsell me from a $15 wash to an $80 wash. BS. The guys that cleaned and dried the car gave a half-hearted effort and were done in about three minutes. Afterwards, I found noticeable spots that they didn't clean. I signed up once for a month for $10 and they kept billing me for a few months more until I noticed I was being billed I went there a told them i didn't know it was a recurring billing and to take me off of it and they keep on billing me. UPDATE: The owner has reached out to me in an effort to get me back in the door, by telling me the swirls are not his fault despite me knowing they are. He never offered to have them buffed out, not even a free car wash or even a coupon for that matter! His business is hurting, his customers are upset. They do not even half as good a job they used to. DO NOT GO HERE!! If 0 stars was possible that would be my rating! My whole family used to take our 4 vehicles here all the time. Tony the gentleman who would "take your order" is no longer able to greet you and that was my favorite thing about speedy was getting greeted by Tony. I've tried the gas station automatic car washes, Waterway and of course Speedy's. My favorite has got to be Speedy's. Service is always prompt and pleasant when you drop your car off. You are greeted by a check in attendant who will run through the different wash options. The pricing and options can be a little confusing at times but once you get through them it makes sense. Pricing is on the pricier side compared to the do-it yourself washes but they do an excellent and thorough job. Your car is then whisked away to the assembly. They do not park the cars too close like some car washes which is NICE. That way the cars don't bump each other. You then walk in through the side door and can watch your car going through. There is an area where the kids can use a gun to soap the oncoming cars. There is a little convenience store where you can buy drinks and snacks and pay at the register. After your car runs through the wash they drive your car to different drying stations outside. Depending on the level of wash you purchase it may take varying lengths of time. Overall they do a very fastidious job. My door jambs are often dried without my direction. If needed they will dry it further to your liking if you point it out. Speedy's runs on solar power so its also a "green" car wash. Nice touch. If you get a wash you also get discounts on gasoline at the service station next door. Don't forget they have oil changes too! read more

Like others have stated, my car was damaged by the wash. Took my car here for the first time. After the car was washed, I noticed a piece of trim loose and a rubber seal on the rear windshield dislodged from the glass. The employee had tried to hide the trim under a towel in the back seat of my car. After speaking to the manager, he adamantly denied all responsibility and said that my car is simply too old. I asked for a refund on the wash and he raised his voice and continued to blame my car--much less pay for the damage. The quote for repairs was over $400 caused by a $50 car wash (which was way overpriced). I take my car to Waterway every few weeks and have never had an issue. Needless to say, I won't be back to Speedway. Inspect your car closely after coming here, but don't expect the business to assume any responsibility if you have damage. read more

I moved to an area where coming here too inconvenient. Since, I've been going to Jiffy Lube or the dealer and man, I miss going to Speedy's. Jiffy Lube is only comparable to this place if I get in for the early bird special. The only convenient dealer for me to go to is up by work (super convenient) but they are by far the slowest bunch ever. This is a nice little gas station with easy access on and off Manchester which is important. They have a good selection of the extras that go along with most convenient stores. Large selection of liquor, fountain drinks, hot dogs and actually have breakfast sandwiches. I'm not sure who they have that brings in the donuts, but I will say that for a gas station, they are very good, however I have made myself stop eating them but not due to the taste. I've been to many car wash places. This one's a keeper. I've gone here for many years, as long ago as it was called Mickey's!! The attendants are always courteous and sometimes pretty funny!! Last time I was here, they wanted to vacuum, and the dang car was filled with groceries. I don't recommend that! Over the years, I've decided the wheel deal is the best package for my car: $18.95. The bottom blast is especially important in winter. I just watch my car from the inside viewing area proceed through the stages and voila . . . it's the car I bought 11 years ago!! When the car emerges from the no-touch wash, everybody gloms onto it to dry everything off, wash windows inside, wipe the dash, apply the tire stuff (sorry, don't know what that is). And your 10th wash is free!! Further deal, if you gas up at their station just across the way, you get 10 cents off per gallon -- that day ONLY. And it doesn't work in reverse. One time, I got the gas first, then got the wash. Went back for the gas discount. Nada! OK, I can learn! read more

This place is a complete waste of money. Out of 4 options I got the second cheapest option because the cheapest would not rinse salt off of my underbody. This option was $36 (for a car, not an SUV). $36 for a car wash??? In addition they didn't even clean the car. I had water streaks all over the back bumper and the interior door jam and lower door panel where salt had accumulated from getting in and out had not even had a cursory wipe. Did not even make it through the wash. We went to enter the automatic payment booth. The attendant in the booth directed us to come to his line. We started to back up but he directed another car into his lane. And then started yelling at us for backing up. Then proceeded to scream at my husband, told him he would whoop his ass and then called him an ignorant ass. Not sure where he learned customer service. I am overall satisfied with the car wash. I was offered the opportunity to have my car buffed and waxed. I had my car done, when finished it doesn't look buffed but has some spotty oil strayed on it and a long scratch in the hood and the corner of my bumper damaged by the machine. I was at the Gold's Gym across the street from this car wash and decided to do a quick swing in to get my truck looking a little better after a long road trip. I checked out the very dismal reviews and decided to give the wash a try anyway. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. The fact that the car goes through an automatic wash isn't a deal breaker for me at all. In fact, I've never had a detailing that has a manual washing component that costs $18 or less so I would encourage anyone with immaculate detailing expectations to consider realistic pricing. I got the basic automatic wash and interior clean and again was very pleased considering that it made my truck look much cleaner and the interior looked great for a total cleaning time of less than 15 minutes. read more

Aaron I can assure you that your machines scratched my door on my company vehicle. I have been a member to your wash club and have been pleased with your wash for many years prior I know without a doubt the scratches are from your wash and the way you responded was very unprofessional. It's a company work truck i am not in anyway upset about the scratches i know damage can come from automated washes that's why you have the signs saying not responsible for damages. But being blatantly called a liar and given excuses like that is from a magnet .... where is this crystal ball you have? no magnets have ever been on my vehicle and that is the reason I cancelled the membership and will not spend another dime at your wash or fuel station. Worst experience ever... I had my first car wash here yesterday and a few days ago my pup was having a bit of a diarrhea and he vomitted in the back... I asked them to wipe it and they said yes they will do it but they did not.. I went for the interior clean one and they did not vaccumed my car seats.. neither the door panels were emptied of wrappers... I don't know whether I should be expecting that or not but if you say you will do something you should do or say no right away... I always get my cars washed at waterways which are so much cheaper and better than these guys.. this place is a ripoff. read more

Had my car washed, interior cleaned, and the $39.99 wax. I have to say they did an incredible job cleaning the interior, including the console and cup holders, to the wax itself. The car looked great! I've been getting washes there for quite a while, but this was the first wash, interior, wax...well worth it! Update...I thought enough time passed to give it one final shot and just got back from a drive from KC so it needed to be cleaned. Spent $33. $15 for the Better Wash which includes the tires and wheels/rims, $11 for interior and $7 for the mats. So essentially $18 for just the interior. Exterior - fair at best. Three spots on the hood that they simply didn't want to take time and the rims were simply not even touched by staff. Interior- all of the inside doors here the window controls are were not wiped down so dust remains. Other spots were overlooked. Sad for $18. Overall - my first review was spot on and unfortunately I won't be back. Oh yeah...there was a Cherokee (new) that was being tended to as a piece of the rear fell off in the wash and it was being fixed by duct tape as a temporary fix. The car owner was not pleased but thought it was sad to see that when I was there for one last shot. Sorry but time to move on. I have plenty of pics that I may post to prove what I just went through. I want to love this place but I can't for the quality and extremely high price. Changed something that was very successful and has been a staple in that spot for many years. Sad to say that I've been there 4 or 5 times since the change of equipment and although it may be a few minutes faster, it's definitely not as good and the attention to detail is slipping away, along with the customer service. Waterway is my new stop and it's unfortunate as I live much closer to Speedy's. When this place was Mickey's back in the day, it was always jammed and my car looked great every time, both inside and out. Now, when I get home, I spend 10-15 minutes wiping everything down getting the spots they completely missed (interior). The cost to remodel and change out all of the equipment had to be a lot of money so it's sad to see how slow it is these days but I understand why it's that way. Sad but true. read more

Kind of have a love hate affair with this car wash. The last time I was there I got "Mickey's Best" with my floor mats cleaned. Total $53.00. That's right $53 for a car wash. I have a van which is extra and cleaning the floor mats are extra. I did receive an excellent wash this time. Not always the case. The time before I got the "Mickey;s Best" and the car came out still dirty. I walked around the car and asked that they clean up the spots they missed. For whatever reason one of the owners comes out and says the car was super dirty and how do you expect me to clean a car that was driven on gravel roads? I was stunned but still replied unless there are gravel roads between here and Chicago you would be correct. Look I just paid you $50 bucks for a wash I want my car cleaned. So I stayed away for about a year. Needed a good clean up and gave them another shot. This time when I walked around the vehicle it was very clean and I was happy. I have used Speedy Car Wash three times and the past three times the car wash left clumps of residue on my car. I spent $20 on the car wash and another 20 minutes scrubbing the residue off from my car in three different locations. Please check you car thoroughly after you have it washed if you choose to have your car washed here. The new setup is now just like another waterway or tunnel wash connected to a gas station, sad sad day. Many years ago when the car wash was Mickey's, they screwed up the smell of my interior bad enough I never went back (way over sprayed glass cleaner I practically choked). But once many months ago I stopped in with my van for help to check my oil level (light was coming on) because my usual spot was not convenient at the time. Evidently my oil was so clear I couldn't read it at all but of course they figured it out and I vowed to go back and have them do the next oil change (oil level was fine). I have been back two times since and I have always gotten excellent service with no up sell attempts (which I am no fan of). Price for full synthetic is very competitive AND if you need gas you get a 10cent a gallon discount if you buy that day AND you get a free car wash good for 30? days. What a deal. ON TOP of that, they take the oil from the oil change operation to heat the water for the car wash and I'm all for efficient use of waste products, plus it's smart business. If you can take advantage of the car wash and gas discount, no better deal in town and they are green with their oil. While I am hesitant to give an oil change\car wash\gas station a 5 star rating, they have earned it from me. read more
