I have been a Waterways member for quite some time. I received a gift card for Speedy, but was very hesitant to use it - brand new car that's my baby. After the snow cleared I gave them a try. I could not believe the attention to detail that their workers provided! My car has NEVER looked so good and watching all of the workers actually WORK was so impressive! I love that it's a family owned business, even the owner is out there in the cold working right beside them!! I went home and got my daughters car and our second car as well! After always going home and having to touch up what was missed and paying twice as much as I am now...I'm making Speedy my new car wash!! read more

Yea I dunno. I went there 3 times and it was very disappointing. I've had $15 washes that were better than their gold/platinum whatever premium wash!! The outside of the car is a typical brush wash (nothing special here) and the inside was a quick wipe at best (there were some streaks left on dashboard). Not worth it IMO read more

Payed 55$ dollars total to get my car washed inside and out and they didn't even wipe the dust of the inside dash,seats or doors. They only washed the windows and everything else looked untouched. Employees were impolite when confronted about it. Would not go back and wouldn't recommend. read more

These guys are great! Anytime I come to them for an oil change they are incredibly fast (living up to the name) and I have never had one of the dreaded "up-sells" people fear anytime they get something done to their car. Also, the car-wash service is top-notch, with friendly employees who will help you decide what you want done to your car, and then give 110% so as to exceed your expectations. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite car-wash place, and considering you get a free wash with an oil change, I can only ask: What are you waiting for? Go there now! read more

Used to be my go to car wash. Not anymore. They changed and automated their whole process. Both the person in front of me and behind me complained about it to the manager. So it is not well received by customers. More importantly, they doubled the price by adding an option to vacuum the car and wash your windows, which is standard at most car washes. You now ride in your car through the wash but the process is kind of confusing and I almost rear ended the guy in front of me. Save you money. There are other cheaper car washes nearby. read more

The guys went above and beyond to get my car cleaned. I had child seats in the back seat and the workers climbed over them to clean the back window. They put in much more work to get the car cleaned than I expected and they did a great job. read more

Have both our cars on monthly program. It's a little pricey but convenience is good. They have a great team there. New system takes some getting used to , but the lines are gone for the most part so the ease of getting in and out is improved. Miss getting the Tony treatment though. He's the best. Don't try and fix something that isn't broke. Due to your new way of processing a car, I will be looking for a new service where they still allow me to walk away and return to a clean car. I don't know who sold you this concept, but they don't know people. Customers ( well some of us) would prefer interacting with people than a machine...I can go to most gas stations and get the same do-it-yourself service. Plus you now charge $11 to vacuum the car when it was included before... basically doubling what a basic wash cost before. read more

The auto Car wash was easy and quick, but after trying to put money in the machine it asked for a code which I did not have since I was paying so I hit enter and it started me over. Did it again finally got a wash, when I went inside to explain what happened the guy working was rude and told me it wasn't there fault! I guess you get what u pay for but he could have been nicer about the situation. Won't be back! read more

This place has gone down hill, unfortunately. I used to come here 5-10 years ago and loved it. I'm always pressured to buy expensive wash upgrades but can never tell the difference. They aren't even "Speedy" anymore. On my most recent visit, I waited 20 minutes only to get my car back wet both inside and out. I can't prove it, but I think they scratched my trunk, as well. The wash isn't much better than an automated wash at the gas station--save your money and try one of the other car washes. read more

I have been a regular at this car wash for years. I have tried others, and this facility gives the best car wash of any I've tried. I have never had to wait very long, they have never damaged my car, the people are very courteous, and my car, on average, comes out exceptionally clean. No chain car wash can compare. The touchless system is the best, but it's the hard workers that make my car look great, inside and out. Highly recommended. read more

The worst car wash that $29.95 can buy. I bought the #1 speedy special for $29.95 which should include all interior and exterior cleaning. They did a very poor interior vacuum. There were dirt and and dust that you can still clearly see. The outside was even worse with streaks and dirt everywhere. I guess that's what happens when you wash a car in under 5 minutes. I will never go back there and never recommend them. Stay away!! read more

I have been going to Speedy for many years and feel the service is excellent. I had to take a few minutes to read the reorganized menu but now it's clear. I am a car club member and I love the bar code technology, it is so quick and easy. I also tried the new Shine Shop wax and seal and my car really shines! read more

Horrible place to get car wash. Bad service with attitude from the owner or the manager. Their machine ripped my side window rubbery and I complained to the manager/owner. I paid more than $50. I paid $50 to get my car broken. It does not make any sense. The manager did not even reimburse the wash charge. Such a bad management. read more

The car wash is terrible. Payed 11 bucks and it didn't even clean the bird poop off my windshield of my Audi SUV. And the gas station is terrible, they are thieves. I prepaid for 25 gallons, pumped 21.5 and they stopped the pump on me and told me they messed up on price of fuel and wouldn't fix the issue. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! read more

One of the worst of its kind. Please stay away from here. Very rude and unprofessional people. I had a car wash and they even did not wash the front of the car while I paid $15 just for outside wash. I wanted to talk to the manager, a guy pretended to be the manager and denied to take care of it. I am filing complaints against them to BBB. Will never go there again. Please stay away from them. After paying $30 for an inside and outside clean. They didn't clean the console. They didn't even vacuum in that area with cup holders. When I asked I was told I have to pay extra for that. So after a $27 wash and a tip that I had already put out in the box of $5 I left and will never go back again. read more

My wife and I have been going to Speedy at least once a week for several years and have annual accounts for both of our SUVs. The service is incredible. My vehicle is our designated "dog" car and understandably has a considerable amount of dog hair throughout. The employees at Speedy do a great job of vacuuming and wiping down the interior to remove virtually all of the dog hair on each visit. Each time our vehicles leave Speedy Car Wash, they look like new. The recent improvements Speedy put in at the car wash make for an even cleaner vehicle. Both of our vehicles are black and have never left the Speedy Car Wash with a scratch or a speck of dirt. In the past, I used some of the other car washes in the St. Louis area and they do not even come close to the quality of service and attention to detail you find at Speedy. read more

Overpriced not even close to second best ;worst part is these aren't 16 year old kids washing your car these are grown men who strive to do a "mediocre" job at best. Just moved in not to far away and started getting my gas, soda's here. Overall I am very satisfied with the customer service I recieve, one cashier inparticularm, Sue, is always friendly and personable. But not overbearing, which is a huge plus. She always asks how my child is and how my job is going, but doesn't take up a huge amount of my time. I get in and out with a smile on my face! Thanks for the service Sue!!! read more

On Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM I brought my spouses car to get it washed. Upon returning the vehicle to her she started to notice spots on the side window tint that were scratched. These scratches were not here before. We just purchased this vehicle used, and it is four years old, however i am very confident these marks would have been noticed had they been there before as they are directly in the line of sight. I called to speak with a manager about the damage and he said he would have to see it. Understandable so I agreed even though we live an hour away. During our phone conversation he also suggested that they don't scratch windows and I should return to the dealership for them to take care of it, though he still asked that I bring the vehicle up for him to inspect the following day. I returned the following day and showed him the scratches and tears and asked for my $45.00 wash to be refunded. He again said they don't scratch windows there and he would not refund my money. I then told him if I did not receive a refund, I would file a consumer complaint with the BBB to which he replied, "That's blackmail!", which seems to be his go to reply judging from others damage complaints online that he has responded to. I cant imagine anyone blackmailing someone for $45.00. The damage caused is costing me more than $200 to fix. I would just like to have a refund of the cost of my wash and for others to know what happened. read more

It actually hurts to be writing this negative report on what has been my favorite car wash for many (many) years. I have taken some very nice/expensive vehicles here over the years for both washes and hand wax jobs, and always been very pleased (or I would not have kept going back). Speedy, formerly Mickey's, has been the very FIRST wash for many brand new vehicles at our house. Recently they have been closed for a remodel, and today was my first chance to try out the "new and improved" setup. I bought gas at their station, and a full-service wash. First thing I noticed was the "inside & out" wash has gone up several dollars in cost. I personally do not see a great deal of value in a wash & vac for 18 bucks, when the $7 wash gets it just as clean (it is the same wash after all), and I can drop 3 quarters in the vacuum at the (self-serve) car wash 2 minutes down the road and vacuum it myself in less than 5 minutes. Or cheaper still, use my Shop-Vac at home. Seriously - 18 bucks is pushing it. But that PALES in comparison to what I found during my wash. The single greatest aspect of this place has always been the TOUCH-FREE wash. It's the ONLY way I will allow my vehicles to be "machine washed". Today I was shocked to find their "remodel" was to install spinning brushes! Spinning brushes down the sides, spinning brushes across the front, spinning brushes over the top. So if I had mud on my truck or gritty bird poop on my car, the old system would simply waterblast it away. Spinning brushes, however, will to some extent, no matter how small, grind it into your finish. Even during the process of wiping it away, there is contact there, a rubbing/abrading. Totally unacceptable. They had the very best system around, and they completely ruined it. I can get "spinning brushes" at any old-school gas station for just a couple bucks with fillup. I won't even do that in a rental car. read more
