Then we were told we'd could keep the plate. I asked about a refund on the prior registration as I'd been told by the MVD they would credit the unused portion as we'd just updated the registration a bit over a month ago. The clerk here said we couldn't do that. The cost she gave us was over $100. I realized that was ridiculous so canceled the transaction and drove to the actual MVD on Shannon. Long story short. The actual cost was about $60. They immediately credited the old fee and so the final cost was about $14. NOT over $100. Be very wary at this business. The MVD can be a wait but it's better than paying nearly 10 times the legitimate cost!

As their rates should be standardized based on type of check and amount, there is no reason to run the customer in circles. "I can assure you we have the best rates in town," is not an answer to the question of your pricing when a customer is trying ti justify driving 20+ miles out of their way to do business with you. I presented my ARIZONA IDENTIFICATION CARD receipt showing my photo and ID card number, a certified copy of my birth certificate, receipt for an application for a replacement Social Security Card, a printout from the Social Security Administration showing my SSN, plus I had an Domicile Affidavit from the University of Arizona duly notarized, 5 letters from the Social Security Administration, several medical records, Department of Economic Security (DES) documents, an EBT card issued in my name, plus I have a photo of my current, unexpired California Drivers' License, yet the two digustingly obese women at the counter (both of them Hispanic, as is the business owner Gertie Salazar of Albuquerque, New Mexico who WORKS AT A SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE IN Albuquerque!) told me that "we don't accept paper documents" so that I can cash my checks, instead, leaving me to SUFFER for another "7 to 15 days" until my ARIZONA PHOTO ID is received by me in mail, and then another several days after that until my SSN ***CARD*** is received in the mail ... and these reviewers (probably relatives, probably mostly or entirely Hispanic and TOLD to write a review for their cronies) have the idiotic nerve to write how nice and compassionate these two women and M(r)s. Salazar's business are. B.S. ... I told them I'd see them in court. You'd think that someone working for SSA would have more compassion on someone like me who never had ID in Arizona whose entire smartphone wallet with smartphone, Driver's License and Social Security card was stolen from. I have a title loan and know the interest charged is going to be high. i had a contract already set…read moreup and when I went to make a payment in September 2021, that contract was no longer valid because they changed the way they do loans It was explained to me that the new loan would include all the interest I would owe for 36 month contract which I'm now finding out that is not true And that is why I'm not seeing my balance go down. I know it's my fault for taking the loan but when I spoke to who I believe is the manager at the Pima street location in Tucson, he kept telling me "you agreed and signed the contract" with no sympathy whatsoever These places are no good people. Please try taking out a personal loan online. You can choose your interest rate and it's not confusing like Checksmart. Never again will I get a loan from them. if you do take a loan out at a place like this, please read the contract and have it explained to you until you know all the details.
