I brought my car in with a power steering leak. I was told it needed both a pressure hose and a…read morenew power steering pump. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that both of these parts were causing the leak, although I remain a somewhat skeptical. I was charged 1.00 (hours labor) for the pump and 1.40 for the pressure hose. In other words, 2.40 hours to replace both. This is a good example of the dirty little secret that exists in this type of business. Although these separate hourly estimates might be pretty accurate in a "start from scratch" situation, when the two procedures are combined, which they were in my case, the overall job takes considerably less time. It's a blatant overcharge and although not illegal, it is unethical. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.
