Cars I have ridden in are dirty and have accident evidence. The one wheelchair van had been crashed and I got to watch the actual pavement through the floor right by my seat. Unreliable and irresponsible. They canceled a ride to a doctor appointment that was set a week ahead and the only way I found out was I called to see where the cab was when it didn't come. They said they don't have enough drivers today. They also have been switching teh ride to a different random company and then not telling anyone. So you don't know who is coming, or if anyone is coming. I would suggest you avoid this company. There is something wrong. read more

I had to wait over 2 hours for my pickup from my appointment at physical therapy. I was in so much pain from sitting and waiting and calling every 30 minutes to check on the ride. The result was: Speedy Transportation didn't show up to pick me up in the front entrance door of Rochester View Apts. at 1:30 pm until it was too late! Remainder that I am congenitally deaf since birth then I speak in ASL (American Sign Language) and stronger English Language in reading & writing skills in my advanced levels on my written notes as I am the well- educated Gallaudet University graduate with my B.A. in my Class of 1981 and then I am retired. Honestly I was upset about incidental situations. Earlier in times, the representative and supervisor in M.A.S. including Speedy Transportation and other alternative & medical transportation services chose to ignore me via V.P. ( Video- Phone) line as it frustrated for me resulting in communication breakdown and miscommunication skills then they didn't understand about deafness, Deaf culture, deaf rights under ADA as the federal & state civil rights protecting the rights of our deaf rights speaking in sign language and other deaf- related resources. In a fact, Rochester, N.Y. has its highest population of the deaf and hard- of- hearing residents speaking in sign languages in Monroe County(Upstate NewYork) as I live here for 41 years in my experiences in my real life at honestly. The mini van driver drives like an absolute moron. Darted into my lane as I was right next to them, almost running me off the road.

They are never on time, if they show up at all. The vehicles are not safe and the drivers are unprofessional.

Regularly takes over 1 hour to pick up a patient, and today it took OVER 2 hours, while dispatcher kept lying to me telling me the driver was 10 mins away then I'd call FORTY minutes later and told the same "driver is right around the corner" another THIRTY minutes same thing, and not even an apology or reason why an elderly patient would be left waiting for over 2 hours, missing lunch and meds. And this has been going on for months. We now tell all patients and providers NOT to use Speedy because they are rude (have hung up on me and lied to me as well as acting like I'm inconveniencing them because I called after waiting over an hour for a frail patient to be picked up. We got dropped off to the appointment 45 mins early, then the driver was 1 hour late. We called 20 mins before pickup to ensure pickup time was clear. When the driver picked us up (I have my 9 month old in the car), she is speeding and recklessly driving, cutting between cars and 18 wheelers. While speeding, she's on her radio telling dispatch that she has to go to the garage because her tire is not on tight enough and the car was shaking. We called dispatch and they just continued to throw us on hold and told us that we cannot get the name of the driver but she is car #9. Upon further investigatio, they are actually not authorized to operate and I see why. First impression of them and it was terrible. read more

One of the drivers was rude to my husband because my dialysis ran a little later than normal. There was no reason for the attitude.

I live 8 minutes from their company and my pick up time was I 1:30. I had to repeatedly call to make sure they even bothered to pick me up on time. I had a scheduled meeting at 2:30pm they waited to send a driver from the office location to pick me up 20 minutes before my meeting time. Leaving very little time for transportation time in a safe manner. The van that picked me up was beat down and tattered mentioned for handicap purposes and I have none. The windshield was also heavily cracked and spidered from one end to the other. The driver aaa going far over the seed limit due to picking me up late to get me to were I needed to be 15miles away on time. This service is ridiculous and I will never use it again. I will never use this Transportation again. When I saw the van pulled up, it had taped on the outside. I thought what am I in for? I'm in a wheelchair. I felt unsafe being hooked up into it. I've been with this company for years. There cars are always very dirty. They are far from speedy they make you wait sometimes hours to be picked up after your appointment is over. The only time they speed is when taking you home. I had this 1 lady twice and she is the reason why I will never be taking this company again. The first time I had her she picked me and my son up brought us to his appointment and unfortunately we also got her on the way home . Both there and back from the appointment she was going 85-90 in a 55mph on the highway. I was scared for my life. A month or 2 went by and I was hoping I would never get her again, but I was waiting for my ride home from my appointment one day and it's her again. She is literally going 95 in a 55 on the highway taking me home cursing people out on the highway I literally didn't think I was gonna make it home alive. I am 24 and have been in and out of the hospital for high blood pressure (almost dying) and meanwhile she is some of the cause for it . I have bad anxiety and high blood pressure every time I have to get into a cab now. Thankfully I found another cab company that drives very safe and I will never be taking anyone else.
