Used Crush for a bachelor party trip awhile back. We had the bus to ourselves, so was largely able to do what we wanted which was nice. Hit wineries, a distillery and a brewery which was nice. Driver (Darryl) was a very nice guy even if he forgot my name and started calling me 'Steve' halfway through. That was pretty funny for the guys even if it was at my expense. Bus had plenty of room too, and we stayed on schedule without it being overbearing or annoying. Price point was fair given this was a 1/2 day tour with food/alcohol included. Brewery and distillery options couldn't have been better. Wagner brewing makes one of the best examples of hefeweizens I've had anywhere. Really great tap room overlooking the lake as well. Got a cheese plate there which was packed like shit in to-go containers, which belied the really good array of cheese, meat and accoutrements it included. Finger Lakes distilling was shockingly good. Their repertoire of whiskeys, including aged options, different styles (ie: pot stilled, applejack) and experiment stuff (cannoli whiskey) was superb. Had whiskey infused cigars here too which were awesome. I bought a shit ton of stuff from their. Surprisingly, I wasn't as thrilled with the wineries. Zugibe was respectable but paled to others nearby like Thirsty Owl; what threw me off was that the reds were much better than the whites there. Food there was gyros, which was odd but oddly good at least. Belhurst was probably the worst single winery I've ever been to, with the worst wine I've tried. Wine had a soapy taste and was cloyingly sweet. Bartender was snotty, rattled off some canned crap she memorized that was largely irrelevant, and didn't really know anything about wine. Place was largely a freaking gift shop, so no clue why they thought this was a good addition. Would use these guys again as Darryl was a sweetheart, and maybe just direct them a bit more in terms of what we're looking for. I am 100% fine with the emphasis being on beer/liquor, however the groom-to-be was more of a wine person in this case. Very workable either way. read more

What a fun experience! Our tour guide was Darryl and what an outstanding service he provided. He was attentive, gave us information about the wineries, was always welcome to questions, provided us a lot of information and was very clear on pick up times to keep us on track. If you're booking with this company, highly recommend with Darryl. he made you feel like family and kept us laughing. The entire few hours we were together. I would book another tour, and specifically request him only. During our session, we opted to only go to three wineries instead of four, which we found was the perfect amount of time, and did not feel rushed. We recommend considering the same. read more

What a great experience! We were lucky enough to have Deb as our driver and guide and it was such a great experience. She was knowledgeable about the area, very patient with our group (a bachelorette party), and was happy to take lots of photos for us! She even carried our purchases to the van for us!! She was attentive without being intrusive and was really fun to be with! The wine tour itself was great - we had to do zero prep or work and just showed up to have a good time and get chauffeured. Disclaimer: This review is purely based on POOR customer service. We scheduled a tour with 10 other guests with Crush Beer & Wine; however, my wife and I were traveling from Florida and had several flights cancelled in our transit and were not able to make it to NY. We called and emailed the owner at least 18 hours in advance to notify them of our circumstances. The remaining 8 guests in our reservation DID attend this tour. Upon asking for a refund, we were treated very rudely by the different staff members we spoke with, and the owner wouldn't work with us. I'll never understand small businesses that don't even consider partial refund, especially when they are trying to thrive and are still profiting from our reservation. I haven't been to the Finger Lakes; however, I have family members who visit often and they suggest scheduling the wineries' tours you wish to see on your own, and figure out your own transit. The wineries included in this specific tour are not the best. read more

I went on a Crush wine tour and only reviewed the wineries that I visited. It's time to review Crush! I took a wine tour in the Cayuga lake wine region and was extremely pleased with my experience. Bill (our tour guide) picked us up right on time. The van was spacious and comfortable and had more than enough room for our party of eight. We opted for the half day tour which was four winery stops. I believe the full day tour includes an additional winery and lunch. Four wineries is more than enough, and you'll still have plenty of time to get lunch at any of the wineries that have restaurants! For one set price all of the tastings and transportation are included. It's nice to not have to think about where to go, and of course after a few glasses of wine it's definitely nice to have a private driver. Bill was extremely sweet and friendly and even had water and pretzels waiting for us in the car. I'm only knocking off a star because I wish we could have changed the ordering of our wineries around a bit. You end up having the most extra time at the last stop, and unfortunately our last stop ended up being the winery with the least outdoor space. In the future I would try to make sure to request a spot with outdoor space to end up at. That way you can enjoy the extra time outside with a glass of wine. Otherwise, this was a great experience. It's a bit pricey, but well worth the money if you plan to spend a day wine touring around the area. read more

This was the first time I've done a guided wine tour and the experience couldn't have been better! It was just my boyfriend and me and we went to four wineries around Canandaigua Lake. Our driver, Gary Galetto, was SUPERB! He took the time to show us the lake, gave us a bunch of facts and history, and made sure we had water and pretzels in between wineries. I highly recommend this tour. We went to 4 wineries in the Geneva area. The company was very accommodating and helpful in which tour to choose. The driver was friendly, helpful and all around wonderful. Made the trip unforgettable. We would easily book this group again when in the area. One recommendation is for those who are getting lunch, please let them know ahead of time when they will be doing lunch, ours was at the first winery and this was 10:15 am and no one was hungry yet, if we had know ahead of time would have planned differently. Our group of 9 had a tour last weekend and had the pleasure of Deb being our driver. She was very sweet and accommodating. We had a nice time but I will say for the price of the tour I didn't feel like it is worth doing again. We were picked up at our rental at 10:30 and dropped back off at 3:30, and stopped at 4 wineries in between. Our day felt rushed and didn't feel like we had much time to enjoy each of the wineries. We planned to do Sniff & Swirl on Canandaigua lake on a Saturday afternoon, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Big group of family and close friends...We started at Casa Larga where we were able to enjoy our tastings outside. From there - we went to Arbor Hill (a bit of a drive from Casa Larga to Arbor Hill, but a beautiful drive). We finished at Heron Hill. The only bummer was that we had to do our tasting there outside (which was not planned). Again, beautiful surroundings but would have been nice to be seated indoors. Our drivers were WONDERFUL. We did the half day "Sniff & Swirl" tour around Canandaigua. We had an AMAZING experience! We went on a Tuesday afternoon and ended up being the only ones on the tour so we basically had a private tour! At out first stop, Red Cat, my boyfriend proposed to me in front of the vineyards! It was so beautiful. Our tour guide, Christy, was the best. She was so knowledgeable and friendly and even made a few extra stops so we could buy some local made grape pie and check out a view scenic overlooks. She also became our own personal photographer and got our engagement proposal on film! I would give Christy and Crush 100 stars if I could. I recently went on the crush beer & wine tour for a bachelorette party and it was fantastic! Our tour guide Chris completely made our day - he was absolutely incredible! He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The tour itself was great. We went to 4 wineries which included lunch. It was really relaxing not having to worry about driving or finding Uber's. Chris collected our wine for us and kept it on the bus so buying wine was super easy. We chose to do a combo beer, wine, and distillery tour in Seneca Lake. As first timers to the finger lakes a girlfriend recommended Crush to us for a tour group. I am so glad we made the decision to go with them. Russell was amazingly helpful on the phone prior to us coming to town. He gave me all the information I wanted, and was very thorough in answering all my questions. The day of our tour we were picked up and greeted by "Uncle Tony". He made our day even more wonderful. He was very informative, and we had a blast with him. I would definitely book again. The tastings were a little bit quicker than I had imagined, and lunch at one of the wineries didn't seem well planned. I booked a wine tour for my sister's bachelorette party and it was amazing! It was so easy to book everything through the website and when I had questions, they were very responsive to my phone calls. We chose the Seneca South and West package. It was perfect! We were picked up in a very nice and clean passenger van that comfortably seated all six of us. Our driver, Edward was the bomb! He was professional, fun and very knowledgeable about the area. I'm sure we got a little annoying towards the end, but he was really patient, especially after that 5th winery! He kept us on schedule with a great attitude. More importantly, he got us all around safely! I don't think you can go wrong with this company. They had multiple packages to choose from and it was easy to find one that fit our needs.
