Posting this to warn local shoppers across the area about a major loophole in Macy's return policy. If you use "Star Money" points on a purchase and later have to return your items, their system breaks down and shortchanges your actual cash. On a total out-of-pocket spend of roughly $60 across two items, their system only refunded me approximately $50 when I returned everything. An online supervisor admitted the glitch but refused a manual fix because of my lack of "prior purchase history." Do not fall for the Star Money trap--their system will steal your hard-earned credit card funds on a 100% complete return. Macy's Corporate needs to fix this error and refund my account.
