Had a pleasant time shopping today. Monica at the self-service registers was super helpful when a board game scanned more expensive than I remembered seeing. I asked if Monica would be able to remove the item, which she did with a smile. Monica went a step above and proceeded to look into the boardgame's price as I scanned the rest of my items. She didn't have to research the price, but she did and I was super grateful, because it ended up that the boardgame was ringing up wrong and was the cheaper price we both recalled. Not to be confused with Argot, which is something else entirely. Affectionately known as Tar-jay because it's so much fancier than Walmart, but necessarily usually a little pricier. Target in Irving is in a plaza that is a bit of a nightmare to get in and out of. I'm not a big fan of the store but Barbie is so we went in here a little bit. It's busy and it's great for her cuz she will usually find stuff she wants - but this is the last location I would come back into. read more

Came here on a Sunday evening. Post-holidays sales were booming, but even with all of that, I was happy to be able to enjoy a rush-free, peaceful shopping experience. Though this is a super Target, I unfortunately wasn't able to find everything I was looking for. I searched for some particular (but not extraordinary) staple purchases like tea, oatmeal, deodorant and mascara. No luck. Ran by Walmart afterwards and found the remaining items on my list. Unfortunately, you'll have to drive further out to a different Target location (or Walmart) for more variety. I will say...I rekindled my love for Target here though. I just thoroughly enjoyed not having to be in a rush! Just a different energy than the hustle and bustle of Walmart. I liked not having to be hyper-focused to get in and get out. Might need to switch things up in 2019. That cartwheel app and REDcard is a gamechanger too! read more

I've been going to this Target for about 2 years now, and I must say; in the time that has passed I think I have become addicted to this place! The environment is bright and even when I walk in feeling moody and tired, this place cheers me up right away. I always leave happy regardless of how I felt when I entered, and 99 times out of 100 I find what I'm looking for. The variety of products here is sensational. And on regards of the employees, they are always polite and helpful in finding you whatever it is you need. If you're looking for a grocery store with a good atmosphere, marvelous variety, and extraordinary service from employees: by all means: come to this Target!! read more

I love this Target location. One, I love that it is so close to my home and I do not have to drive super far to get to it. Two, it saves me tons of time as I do not want to deal with the crazy business and inefficiency of Wal-Mart. Target always seems to have lines open and I am able to get in and out of the store while shopping for groceries and other items in about 30 minutes. Three, the customer service is phenomenal. The staff seem to like their jobs and enjoy being there. I do not feel rushed or pressured by the staff, like I do in other big box stores. I feel like the staff care about me and want me to leave happy! Overall this Target just meets all of my needs and this is why I keep coming back. Loveeee the updates at this location! They added a beautiful Starbucks as well as self checkout. It makes shopping so much easier! The store is always clean & organized. This store got a face-lift and it HELPED. I love the dollar spot you can find a lot of cute random things in there. The clothing always has a clearance section too so you can find random things there (Usually crap you don't need, but justify getting because the price is too dang good). The best thing about this location is the self checkout for sure. There are 4 stations so it makes checkout so much quicker. This used to be my issue with this location. They always only had like 2 cashiers and they would take FOREVER. So, in my opinion it makes it so much more convenient when i need to run in for something quick and get back to work! Xo. read more

This location seemed to be lacking some very essential things. There were signs all over with great sales so it seemed liked many aisles were very messy. It was like clearance central hadn't been touched by an employee since they opened in the morning. I did find some other things that I needed and the selection was pretty decent. I think i truly prefer Target over Wally world you seem to save so much in the long lines and crazy people I always seem to run into. The rest of the store was well stocked and I really liked to athletic clothing section for men. Hey, I don't really need to wear the biggest name brands to run around outside just to be seen. I'm perfectly content with some target brand shirt or jacket as long as it works for me. I will let you know how they work out but so far they have been great. read more

Target has what I need. Not sure if anyone works the aisles really. Sometimes some help would be nice, but they're all not in the aisles or on the floor for some reason. It has what you need and that's that. It's not the cleanest or fanciest Target, but it does the job. read more

Because I don't care to shop at Walmart, I shop Target. I never seem to find anyone on the floor that works at the store for assistance. They have a nice selection of items throughout the store. I like to check out their seasonal section to see the latest and greatest items. They've started using the chip reader to check out purchase. It slows the process down a little bit, but keep my card safe. read more

Not sure why this target gets so many bad reviews. I think the store is always clean, stocked, and well l laid out. They also have a Starbucks inside which is a different story compared to most of the regular stores. Self check out lanes are easy, seems always like they are staffed pretty light but that's where businesses are going these days ! read more

Your usual Target shopping center, Nothing fancy to see here. Staff is helpful when you need to ask where to find something. Customer service was also able to compete a refund, although they had attitude upon asking why. Been to better, but it's easy to run in and out when you need something quick. read more

I love Target. I usually shop at another location 3-4 times a week, but this store is awful. I live a few miles from this store and every SINGLE time I step foot in this store I regret it. The staff is rude, the managers are incompetent and they refused to honor their own ad. They are always out of things they should always have (diapers) and the store is a mess. I'm officially done with this store. I keep hoping it is going to get better but it's actually getting worse. I'll keep passing this store and driving to the one on Glade in Euless. read more

Literally the worst Target I have ever been to. It is always understaffed with rude sales associates. You can never find anyone to help you. Not that the store can help it but the clientele leaves something to be desired as well. Product boxes are always torn, store is unorganized, and they are always out of everything. Once again, this Target takes the cake... My make up has been scaled WAY back. They've gone from (roughly) 30 colors to about 6 in the last month. NONE of the people I've asked know why. The new layout is HORRIBLE! My area of Irving is very diverse, which I love. But it seems they cater to only one or 2 ethnicities. That's hardly incorporating ALL the ethnicities in the area. This Target really should get on board and embrace the entire community. I now choose Walmart more than this Target. And that's a shame. Funny, that the powers that be at this Target won't even respond to reviews. read more

I like this location. I always browse the back aisles for the clearance sections. My son collects the Imaginext Batman toys, and they have a whole display on the aisle for it! And a much better selection of toys than Wal-Mart. Always clean and organized. read more

I like the stores cleanliness. they really seem to go out of their way to keep it shining (janitors every 4th aisle when i was there). I come here to buy DVD's and the kid's toys and school stuff. read more
