I wasn't going to write a review after what happened to me and my spouse but after reading that this happened to another person I felt the need to say it: So I'm hispanic with tattoos and piercings and my girl is white, we walked in bc we wanted beanies, we were looking at beanies for a long time till I noticed that one of the managers ( a woman ) was looking at me up and down behind the register , honestly didn't thought much of it tho. When we finally picked the beanies we approached the cash register where an employee was there and the Manager who was looking at me before, as well was there, we paid for our items right in front of her face and the employee bagged everything for us, he was nice tho. When we were making our way to the exit she starts yelling to STOP and harassed me and my girlfriend all the way to the exit we stopped and she believed we stole property. It was really embarrassing bc the store had people and they were all looking, I proceeded and gave her the receipt and she just snatched it from my hand looked at it and then walked in to the store, she NEVER APOLOGIZED OR SAID OH MY BAD, u know I would of laugh it off and continue with my day, so I walked in and she was in the register, I said that what she did wasn't really nice and that If i could please have her name so i could report it to corporate. SHE REFUSED TO GIVE ME HER FIRST NAME ( keep in mind she is a manager ) Then i asked one of the employees for her first name and the employee refused as well. I kept asking her and she refused over and over again till the point that two people that didn't know what happened stepped in and said ( HEY MAN YOU ARE HARASSING HER LEAVE HER ALONE ) bruh. I was like First of all she harassed me and my spouse and the 2 people that stepped in were like ( That doesn't matter you are harassing her ) . So besides that I was racially profiled by the manager, 2 people jumped in to defend her bc she was a woman and I WAS THE GUY. To top it off she was laughing the whole time when the two people were arguing with me. Then she went ahead and called security and I got kicked out of the Store for trespassing. read more

I had quick visit while window shopping with my date. He had mentioned that polk county doesn't have adult stores and i was curious if that included Spencers to. Like how crazy would it be to have a Spencer's without the kinky back room!!??? Thank the goddess! It was there! Lol i gotta say I didn't expect to find a adult candy land called ganja land! I cracked up hard! They even carrying the coffee mugs with built in bongs. Lol we did noticed the floor needs love. One of the staff mentioned they have talked to corporate but no go in that store. If i was that stores owner? I would at least take a day or two n paint the floor with a nice glossy semi matt black paint just to make it look a but more presentable. Other than that, the staff was very welcoming, my date bought a cute Laveyan wall ornament. It's kinda hard to find stores that actually cater to all faiths.
