For $25 you get the tiniest of pours from each, which then gives you $10 towards any bottles purchased. Although we've purchased from some of these wineries previously, none that we sampled in the showroom impressed us enough to make us want to buy. Particularly for the prices charged. $50 and up for what is at best a $20 tasting wine. There is a limited food menu if you want to order an actual glass of wine and some snacks, but it is mostly seafood, and again nothing appealed to either of us.

Instead of quickly pouring whatever was available, they asked what type of tasting I preferred--white, red, or the happy hour selection. A nice touch! Five minutes before closing, they were still welcoming new guests, which made me feel much less guilty about showing up late. The Wine Experience Chardonnay - I'm picky about Chardonnay, but this one was surprisingly buttery and smooth. A great choice for both beginners and experienced wine lovers exploring new Chardonnay profiles. Rosé - A perfect Happy Hour pick! Light, fruity, and refreshing--exactly what I needed to unwind after a long day. Cabernet Merlot - A touch spicy and slightly chewy. If you love Cabernet with good tannins but not too overpowering, this is a great option. Location & Atmosphere Unfortunately, I was too late to try the food, but the location is super convenient--right in downtown with its own parking lot (which is a huge plus for wine tasting in the city!). No stress about parking! If you're with a group, this spot is even better because after wine tasting, you can easily switch things up--there are breweries nearby, so everyone can split off based on their drink preference. The Woops wine label is designed upside down, which is really fun, and it tastes great too. Phoenix was full-bodied and tasted really good. I also liked the Gewurztraminer for its well-balanced fruit flavors and sweetness, and the Wolf Song for its buttery taste. We also purchased their original wine glass. This winery is really fun, and I will definitely visit again.

Hints of rock fruit. 2017 Ester riesling - grapes from bottom of hill and grown 200metres apart from the Maria's riesling (also harvested 2 days apart). 2017 Maria's block riesling- brighter as its grown at top of hill. Very sweet. Little dryness or bite. Would go well with sushi. The staff were so friendly and gave us a lot of backstory to Kitsch winery and the wines. They took photos for us and answered all our questions. My only qualm is the price of the wines. I want all of them but I'm also a big minimalist white wine fan.

I don't think those were as good. Highly recommend trying some of the reserves and 'higher tier' wines here. The Foch is unique and I really enjoyed their chardonnay.

After the tour (~30 mins), we headed to the patio to enjoy a 5 pour tasting that included a riesling, cab franc, pinot noir, rose and a syrah. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, for two tastings it was $30 CAD and if you make a bottle purchase, you get $5 off the tasting. Will be back to try more of their rieslings!

This was our favourite of the three reds we tried. - 2021 Cabernet franc - 2020 La droite - 2018 Late harvest viognier - not too sweet, good mouth feel. - Blanc de blanc - first time they've made a sparkling pinot blanc. Excellent bubbly. We bought a bottle ($37.99). Too bad they didn't have their blanc de merlot bottled yet.

Our pourer (Chantal) was very friendly and informative. - 2022 Akina rosé - marechal foch grapes. Rosé was supposed to be dry, didn't taste so. - 2021 Riesling - smooth, velvety texture on the mouth. Not too sweet. Bought a bottle ($28.61) for home. - 2022 The flirty 3 - blend of three whites. Sweetest of the whites we tried. - 2018 Merlot - light on tannins, a touch smoky. - 2020 Cabernet franc - bolder flavour, but more tannins. Still one of my favourite organic wineries.

Landed in Toronto, went to my connection only to have security tell me it can't be let through as a carry-on, mind you that when I bought the wine I only had personal items on me as I already gave my checked baggage. I nearly had to toss the unopened bottle just so I could make it back home. Managed to check in the bottle within my bag but now the bag itself had to get delayed, bottle might even be broken for all I know! Clerks NEED to be aware of passengers taking connecting flights and asking if secured bags are needed. All of this would've been avoided had they sealed the bottle to TSA standards, which shouldn't be unreasonable given this was sold INSIDE AN AIRPORT
