The beach at Atrani is a small parcel of coastline at the edge of the village of Atrani, which is Amalfi's immediate neighbor to the east. You can reach it on foot via a pedestrian tunnel from Amalfi.
There are both public and private sections of the beach, and in general it's known to be quieter and less crowded than Amalfi's shoreline. From reading other reviews, there are beach chairs set up (I believe in the private section) during the summer months June onward.
There are no public washrooms for changing or otherwise, so if you plan on spending time on this swath of pebbly seaside, note that the nearest facilities are about a 10 minute walk west on the Amalfi beachfront.
The views are beautiful everywhere along the Amalfi Cosst and the beach at Atrani is no exception. It's just a short walk to "town" within this mini municipality of around 700 residents.
I will say as a functioning beach it feels on the smaller side, if you're a beach person maybe worth taking a walk around, though personally I'm good to admire it from a distance :) read more
