One of my favorite ethnic grocery stores in town if you are looking for ingredients to cook authentic Indian food. They've expanded in the last year or so to include a much larger frozen section. Great place to buy spices of all sorts, dried lentils and beans, rice, and other ingredients for Indian cooking Be sure to try fresh curry leaves in the produce section and they also carry a nice selection of Indian sweets in a case up at the register. They sell cooking pots and pans as well as Tiffins. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Absolutely wonderful store the selection is insane and on top of that they are extremely well priced cheaper in most cases than regular grocery stores and today I grabbed some of their fresh curry leaves looks like they grow them locally and they were only a dollar! You can get stuff from here that is even hard to find online and for way cheaper I found my Zed Black Mogra Dhoop here 12 boxes for only 9.99 I cannot even find a website that will sell and ship these to American. 100% recommend and I will be back again and again.

Many thanks to Naz B. for the information on this place. They have fresh vegetables, all kinds of spices, teas, treats, frozen things and etc for whatever East Asian dishes you want to make. If you are looking for bulk spices this is your place. Prices are fair and the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I enjoyed just walking down the aisles. I'm sure this place gets slammed over the weekend. They share a parking lot.

Brown henna-they have black and red as well.

I come here now and then to get spices and foods from India that I can't get at local stores. The selection is great yet the customer service leaves something to be desired. Great place to get henna if you're into doing henna tattoos.

My favorite Indian grocery store. They have a good level of variety, reasonable prices, and I love getting their Samosas that they sell on Sundays. Recently I cooked a dish using their Shahi Paneer packet, a block of paneer, cottage cheese, and pumpkin seeds and I was pleased with the outcome (photo).

I found all the spices I needed for my recipes. I liked it so much. I went back the next day and bought more. The vegetables are good too.

Highlight: A mid-high tier grocery chain store that is clean, well stocked, and pleasant to be in…read more Produce prices are a little high, but everything here is high quality and not likely to go bad easily. Normal and competitive prices for all household items, dried goods, etc that are comparable to Costco. If you want cheaper items but lower quality, then Tops is the competing grocery store in this region. Tips: this is a chain that has an advantage card thingy. The app keeps tabs of your receipts, gives you coupons, and discounts. Produce: Prices here can be a little steep- almost comparable to things at Whole Foods. However the quality here is excellent. You won't find anything yellowing and going bad on any aisle. A bundle of scallions can stay fresh and crisp in your fridge for a whole week. Depending on season, some produce can be super cheap. For example, in the summer, a clamshell of blueberries can be as low as 5.99 compared to the 6.99 at Costco- none of the berries are moldy and can last for 1.5 weeks. Their selection of herbs are a little small, but their organic section is pretty well fledged. Home goods: Toilet paper, plastic bags, etc are competitive prices to Walmart and Costco in terms of quality and price- the plus side is that you aren't stuck with bulk amounts from Costco. I find that their soaps and cosmetic prices are more competitive than Ulta and drug stores. Dried Goods: They have their own Wegman's brand item and Top Care products, and I guarantee everything here is high quality. Even the Wegman's products are as comparable to Mariani's Dried Fruits for example. Beer/Spirits: there is a side liquor store part of the Wegman's. You can buy beers inside the main store and go to the side for a side part of spirits. Pharmacy: There's a pharmacy and section with over the counter goods. THey offer the Top Care brand and the normal brand. Meats: You can buy almost every meat- hint, if you sometimes come in the morning, you can find discounted meats but still good quality. Fish can be a little pricy- I tend to lean towards Costco for my fish, but everything else is good. Dairy: Wegman's yogurt tends to trend towards the tart taste- so if you like sweeter varieties, then you can add your own sugar/jam. Eggs and milk are ok priced. I've had a hit/miss with the milk here- sometimes it goes bad faster than others. International Grocery: They do a pretty good job here providing the necessary things needed to make most goods. The prices may be 1$ more than the original ethnic store, but the goods are authentic. You can pick up the original brands of garam masala, soy sauces, European goods etc here for a fair price. IF you can't find more obscure spices, then hit up Asia Food Market or the Indian market right on west Henrietta outside of Rustic Village.

But that's changed (or maybe I just misunderstood!), and now anyone can shop here. Prices are a bit higher about $2-$5 more than other grocery stores depending on what you're getting, also know you're supporting a community focused, local business. It's not a huge place, but they've got a solid selection of essentials, and some nice specialty items too. There's even an outdoor area if you want to relax with a snack or a drink. Staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have private parking lot! I'll definitely be back.

It's a bit of a drive for me, but worth it. The staff were so pleasant, kind, and patient. I have a disability, and Richard took his time to explain everything to me. You can just go in and shop, or you can join the co-op. I joined, there are a lot of benefits, including discounts, events, they want to hear from you, and suggestions. It's in the South Wedge. A great neighborhood, and it's decorated outside and has some amazing murals so you can't miss it. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Will do it next time. Bring your own bags. Parking was easy. The aisles are nice and wide. They have small baskets that roll, making it really easy for someone with disabilities to shop. Their meat section is all frozen, which is fine. I bought frozen wild salmon. They have a big sausage section, with some delicious sounding ingredients. I will have to get some next time.

I had visited this market a few times in the past when in the neighborhood but is not my usual go to market because of how far it is from me. This market has a real neighborhood feel. You know the one with fresh baked goods and a deli counter, making you fresh salads and sandwiches. This is one of the few markets that still employs butchers. The store is clean and the employees all are very friendly and welcoming. They have embraced all the covid-19 safety precautions. Everyone wearing a mask, gloves, and social distancing. Signs are prevelent explaining the protocols. Their prices are very compatible and they run weekly specials that can result in great savings. Their produce, seafood, and meat are fresh and of high quality. Now back to my roast. The butcher came out and took the time to discuss with me what I was looking for. He then went into the back and freshly cut me a roast just as I had asked for. The roast was perfect on Christmas. Very flavorable, with nice marbling. Everyone raved about it. This market might be a bit out of the way but it is worth the drive. You can tell, the owners, and employees take great pride in their business.
