But that's changed (or maybe I just misunderstood!), and now anyone can shop here. Prices are a bit higher about $2-$5 more than other grocery stores depending on what you're getting, also know you're supporting a community focused, local business. It's not a huge place, but they've got a solid selection of essentials, and some nice specialty items too. There's even an outdoor area if you want to relax with a snack or a drink. Staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have private parking lot! I'll definitely be back.

You can just go in and shop, or you can join the co-op. I joined, there are a lot of benefits, including discounts, events, they want to hear from you, and suggestions. It's in the South Wedge. A great neighborhood, and it's decorated outside and has some amazing murals so you can't miss it. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Will do it next time. Bring your own bags. Parking was easy. The aisles are nice and wide. They have small baskets that roll, making it really easy for someone with disabilities to shop. Their meat section is all frozen, which is fine. I bought frozen wild salmon. They have a big sausage section, with some delicious sounding ingredients. I will have to get some next time.

Evening staff keep playing... r&b?, and really loud... I now won't go unless I have my earbuds. Recent overhaul of the self checkout is a nightmare of congestion and 'people', feels like a livestock holding pen (Again, a decision made for Wegman's, certainly not for their customers, aholes) (racks of junk food at self-checkouts are so close to the checkout you kill your hands on #$% racks, idiocy). New layout of the freezer/grocery sections is awful beyond awful, Pittsford's layout, once the best, is now behind even the Perinton location's layout (if that's even possible), even Salt Road is doing better than Pittsford now. Rude staff (whats new, x15years, but far worse in the last year at Pittsford location at least), item's constantly out of stock (this location is particularly awful at keeping things in stock), constantly not carrying every day staples for more niche non-grocery items (more GM than Walmart) -- that people would rather buy online regardless (x10 years).

Another Saturday exploring my hood. The prices were phenomenal l compared to main grocery stores, which I expected being from Washington DC. I really have been missing China Town. This was the closest thing to it since I moved here. I will definitely be back, they were packed, very busy, but also very quiet, which I found relieving since I have sensory issues. No loud checkouts, everyone was courteous even customers. Just people getting their groceries, no entitlement, no BS, no Facial recognition upon checkout like at Wegmans. Just good community neighbors having a polite, no rage grocery shopping. Fruits and veggies very fresh, not treated with oil made to look fresh and glossy, just fresh. I did have to be mindful of salt products, and look hard for organic, but I'm not Asian and reading labels is more time consuming, labels are written in English but tinier, and my eyes are not what they used to be. But everyone was real patient. Very clean, quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. Prepared foods as well. This will be my new go to spot, before hitting the regular grocery store. Will definitely be saving money.

He stocked up on some goods to bring home with him this time. This last time I visited I noticed that they have the viral white chocolate coated fruit ice creams so I'll be back for those in the summer for sure!
