In town for a Mets Spring Training game, and wanted dinner before hitting the road to go back to the west coast. Yelp recommended this restaurant. Located in a strip mall with ample parking. Large menu with lots of choices and items I'd not heard of before. Had the chicken curry puffs for our apps- pretty good but a bit too fried for my personal taste. Lots of soup choices but declined ordering any as I knew it would fill me up. Hubby and I shared drunken noodles with chicken, which was good. We also ordered yellow curry with chicken, which was filled with veggies ( yay!), although there were several other choices that I was tempted to order. Service was good. They tag teamed and were attentive. The meal went quickly but we never felt rushed. Will return when in town for another game. read more

Spice Thai is hands down my go to sushi restaurant! All the sushi rolls are so freshly made, no matter which roll you choose, you will be satisfied. I highly recommend any of their eel based rolls or lobster rolls or anything tempura! The sashimi was perfect! I loved that it was a thicker cut. They also have the best home made crab rangoons. And for their price points, you can't beat spice Thai. The service was so quick. Even for being as busy as they were, we were seated right away and served fast. The waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with their recommendations. The restaurant itself is smaller in size, so be sure to either make a reservation or come during slower hours, however the size of the restaurant gives it a cozy feeling. I usually don't hand out five star reviews for a place that I've been to for the first time, so this is rare. A tribute to this excellent rating is the fact that I hadn't eaten all day except for a banana at 9 AM and it was now 7 PM, but I digress. I am in a new area of Florida that I haven't really explored ever, even through work, so I feel totally lost versus other areas of Florida I've been traveling to for 12+ years. So I usually resort to YELP when it comes to getting down and finding some great places! So I wanted something very close to my hotel due to my being HANGRY. Port St. Lucie for those of you who don't know, is chain restaurant paradise if that's your thing- it certainly isn't my thing! So It came down to an oyster house- this Thai sushi place and an Italian place all independently owned. In the end, I went with Thai and sushi because I can get the most for my money on a dinner work stipend lol This place is in a strip plaza next to a liquor store, yoga studio in a few other stores with a Bowlero in the rear parking lot. I stopped in to look for a to go menu before I checked into my hotel and they just have a QR code on a card which is fine. Once I checked into my hotel, I checked the menu out via QR code and wrote down my order. I went to pick it up and got Tom Yum Shrimp soup, seaweed salad, seafood Sunomonu ( not pictured because I destroyed it in 30 seconds!) a dinner order of garlic roast duck, a signature Happy roll, and a signature Captain's roll. All for $89 wth tax. (I normally don't eat this all at one sitting either, it's an all nighter of good food back at the hotel doing computer work & watching TV all evening!) Deal of a century.. this place has such big portions that I'm NOT used to coming from Miami and Fort Lauderdale, it's almost comical. If this is what life is outside of South Florida in smaller cities, I gotta get to them more frequently. Everything that I ordered was exceptional. Everything I ordered was incredibly fresh. Everything I ordered was made in 20 minutes with a completely full restaurant with standing room only- the fact is, this place runs like a well oiled machine. The Thai/Japanese workers Chefs are legit in their jobs and in their roles. If I am ever back in Port St. Lucie, (which I will be, pretty much every month for years to come) I will try and get to this place at least 3-4 times a year. This place is excellent, I highly recommend. I don't think you'll be disappointed by coming here. If there was something this fresh, with as generous portions, for this price in Fort Lauderdale and close to me, I would be a regular 100%. Keep up the great work Spice Thai Sushi! So you walk through the door and are immediately greeted by your server. We were seated right away, and offered drinks. All of the servers were very attentive and pleasant to speak with. Forget about the food! I had a sushi roll that was to die for! 12 pieces of deliciousness;, octopus, jalapeños, slathered in a sauce that brought out each and every flavor. The miso soup was savory,nice and hot. The wife had masama curry chicken that was also melt in your mouth good! The price for lunch for 2 with a beer was quite low, considering the amount of food. This is one of my favorite spots in PSL! The staff is friendly, the food is consistently, incredible (and authentic), and the quality of food in-house and for takeout are equal every time. When friends and family come into town, this is always a top option for a meal. I also like how the lunch specials are available on the weekends (at least on Saturdays - not sure about Sundays). I stopped by yesterday for a late lunch, and shared the green Dragon roll, the kissing roll, and the Hawaiian roll. They were all 10/10! read more

Just moved to Port St. Lucie about seven months ago and have tried several sushi restaurants searching for a good one. I finally found the best sushi here by far. The service was excellent and the sushi was fantastic. I put in my order and hardly got my seat warm when my rainbow roll arrived. Doing our family tradition my husband chose this restaurant for the week. As before the service is exemplary! Everyone smiles and they work as a team. Service was good, sushi was mid. Honestly, I'd equate it to supermarket sushi but freshly made. The flavors didn't pop and there was nothing that truly stood out to me as good. I've ordered these same rolls multiple times from multiple different places. The volcano roll is always one of the good ones for me. However, their volcano topping was comparable to a warm crab salad I could pick up at any grocery. It was still white and not nice and "BAKED". The flavor was okay. Their wasabi is the weakest wasabi I have ever eaten and didn't sock me in the nose the way I like it to. Another thing that drove me NUTS is, we ordered to go. I love to add my wasabi to my soy sauce and dip my sushi in but they didn't give me soy sauce. Those cups fooled me...turned out to be eel sauce! Overall, I suppose it's a decent place. We didn't eat any of the hot food but they looked nice on the menu (photos). We are relocating to PSL in about 4 months and we love sushi so maybe we will give them another shot one day. So.... I have been here twice and love Thai, but neither time has left me considering going back. The spice they use is just okay but my last meal was junk. Super watery curry, flavorless veggies and chicken for protein drier than a popcorn fart. When I asked them to take it away they were not surprised at all, and did not seem to care, kinda weird really. Then asked for fresh salmon Philly and it was rice and piece of salmon.
