This is my second visit to the Spicey Chef. The experience was over the top friendly and delicious. Today I had the chicken Korma and the paneer kadai. The food was fresh, fast and delicious. The korma was a beautiful blend of creaminess and milder spices. Mild but flavourful. The paneer was a delicious semi firm cheese set in a beautiful dish with caramelized onions and a nice mix of spices and black cardamom. This is the type of food that the better Indian restaurants serve. Flavourful, aromatic, and inviting. The place was very clean, and there was a lot of room to relax and have a nice meal. Five stars IMHO, one of the better Indian restaurants I have been to. :) read more

We really loved dining at Spicey Chef Charlottetown, Restaurant. Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt welcomed and pampered by the food and the services, everything was very well handled. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Our family especially enjoyed the appetizers. I appreciate the team for putting together such a good experience. The ambiance of this restaurant is second to none, you will be surrounded by beauty and charm. I love the vibe of this place! It strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed. The energy is contagious and always puts me in a great mood. The Host, I want to thank Birendra and Kabita, they went out of their way to accommodate our requests to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. Atrocious experience this evening. Hostess/waitress ignored us for a couple of minutes as we waited at the counter to be seated. Took forever to get water and menus. A table that came in and ordered after us got served first. Waited almost 45 minutes for our food. Not even worth it. As good as the food can be there it's not worth this nonsense. I could completely understand if the restaurant was full but it was far from that. The waitress was extremely disinterested in doing her job. This is the last time I will go there. It's too bad because this was one of our favorite places. read more

I've never had a bad meal here- a little pricey for what it is but the portions are good. If you say you want it spicy it will be actually spicy so make sure you know what you're getting into. read more

Kind of like the fast food version of Indian food, good but not great quality. Chicken was dry, rice was ok.

I went to this restaurant with a group of 13 people for dinner buffet after making a reservation. After spending more than an hour spending in this restaurant waiting for them to refill the food items on the buffet, most of the time except thenplain basmati rice everything else were just empty, and we felt the staff and the kitchen doesnt even care. We had to talk to the server and the chef about and almost ended up having an argumet. And they both said they are not responsible for the issue. And they were asking fir us to wait longer even after waiting one hour. Buffet is made for convenience for both customers and the kitchen so that the people dont have to order and wait for 20-30 mins to get the food delivered. And the food quality was even bad.. And this place was a disaster.. verymich dissappointed. Will never go back to this place again. If there was an option to choose not to give any star i would have done that. I wish all the very bad luck to this people unless they change their way of treating customers and food quality. read more
