It came with two whole chickens and five sides. The chicken was moist and seasoned well and they have like a bunch of different sauces you can try. The corn on the cob is to die for, the mashed potatoes are okay, and the bottomless frozen yogurt (I got mango!) was the perfect way to end the night. Some issues I noticed were that on our second night, they ran out of chicken wings which stunned us, especially coming from a restraunt known for their wings. They do a great latte and have quite an extensive menu. As the cafe is open from 9am to about 8pm during the summer months, the menu reflects this. They offer all the usual breakfast fayre. They also affer lots of different pastries and cafes. Salads and pasta seem to be the mainstay of the lunch and early evening menu. I really like having a coffee here when the weather is nice, as they have an extensive seating area outside, as well as plenty of internal eating. As much as I like this place, it only gets 3 stars for me. There are two reasons for this. The toilets are run by the City of London and are external to the cafe. They really are in need of a refurbishment. Also, although the cost of refreshments are reasonable, I find that the food menu is a bit expensive for waht is really a park cafe. Why would you want to pay almost £8 when you could walk just a few minutes away to places like Jacks Cafe and Hugo's and get a good breakfast for a much lower price?

Service is super-friendly (and sometimes the children pop out for a chat too - it's been great to watch them grow up over the years). Whilst Wong's serve a limited Chinese menu we have never tried it, sticking, instead, to a standard order of: 2xHaddock, 1 Large Chips, Curry sauce and mushy peas. This is more than enough for a hungry couple. It's best to telephone your order ahead to make sure you don't have to queue for too long (they get busy towards the weekend). Credit cards are accepted for orders over £9. The fish is succulent (and rarely dry like so many places) and the chips have a great flavour and aren't too greasy.
