I think it's been open 3 weeks now and I agree with the other reviewers, it got very busy from 7pm. Service was a bit slow, however, we'll overlook this since the restaurant is still very new and there was a job advert on the door for more chefs. The paper and pens for the kids kept them very busy so they didn't notice. As I've discovered elsewhere for Pizza Express, they've made a nod to the local community in the decor. In the Fleet branch this means that the walls are decorated with old posters from the Fleet carinval. Nice touch to remind you where you are ;-) when you're in a major restaurant chain. Can't say the same when I'm in other places. The Pizza Express menu has got some new items now and I couldn't resist trying them; for starters I had little balls of risotto rice mixed with ham and peas. Delightfully tasty. For mains, there was a choice of dishes from an Italian chef called Theo. My wife and I each had one and they were excellent - mine had anchovies, peppers and a special smooth cheese. Presentation was a bit different because they came on baords instead of plates. Dessert was a small frozen nut and cream pot which was absolutely delicious. I think this experience proves that Pizza Express keep doing the right things.

The mains were Salmon teriyaki don and chicken don. I enjoyed my salmon to the very last bit. Served with salad and on a bed of rice. Great seasoning and nicely cooked. Simplicity of a dish but so satisfying. My husband did like his dish but contrary to what I think, his dish was a bit on the salty side. We can both eat a lot so I was worried that ordering a small there wouldn't be enough. I was wrong the small portions are what I would consider to be rather large. My friend ordered a spaghetti carbonara while I order a spinach, cheese a chicken dish. The food took no longer the 20 mins and was hot. I found their page on instagram and aquifed a number and tried many times to contact them by phone with no success. Then i messaged on instagram and also emailed them as i was unable to contact. Eventually, Deliveroo informed me the restaurant has delivered the food at 10:09 pm, it was a delivery to a hotel, i was waiting in the lobby from 9:30pm and no delivery was made to me or this hotel. Absolutely horrible service and no way to contact them as they are too busy to answer a phone or reply to an email or social media message. Strongly would NOT recommend this establishment!
