I find the wine here to be overpriced selections of wines you can find in any grocery store. All the Rombauer and Austin Hope type overpriced, mediocre wines and nothing really that unique. The staff are friendly enough and they do have some great options for cocktails to go. read more

I heard this is the longest standing business in Laguna beach. My pops actually got his first job here when he was a teen. Now I have a store of my own just a few doors down. It's incredible to have such an amazingly stocked shop with the best of people manning it every day so close to home. They have given a much needed makeover to the Spigot. It's so bright and welcoming. They didn't just improve the property aesthetically but added a wide selection of beers, whiskeys, tequilas and wines. They have vastly improved the selection with so many choices. I've been a customer regularly for more than a year. It was a dreadful place. Never any words exchanged. Plus dark and dingy. I heard that it changed hands last month to local owners. I went in earlier today and boy what a difference! The porn is gone, it's lighter and very friendly. I met the new owners and they are great and very accessible. They have lots of great plans to better serve the community. I'm told that they are lowering most prices. Can't wait to see what's ahead! read more

I'm giving them 5 stars because of Sean, Victor and Rose. They all work there and are always so nice. Sam ( the owner) is always an a**hole. I live down the street and go in there for once a day and have been for over 4 years and he still is a jerk...that's just the way it is. If you don't like it, don't go in there! No need to write a bad review. They are just business owners trying to make it. I don't think Sam can help being a jerk. I know he has alot off health issues and is probably miserable there when he's working. But he has too sometimes. Other then that they have everything you need although there prices are a little high but what place isn't in Laguna. Most of us are paying for the convince. They also let me pay next time if I need something and didn't bring enough money. So for those reasons ....I give them 5 stars. I will say that hiring Sean amd Victor was the best thing they have done in years! read more

The store itself is pretty damn dirty. The man who worked here was very rude to me. My friend and I came in here one day to get waters and for some reason we were laughing at something that had happened earlier and out of no where the man at the front yells "hey! be quiet!" at us. When we came to the front to pay for our water bottles he asked me "Are you stupid? Are you a baby?" I apologized for laughing and he decides to call his wife and tell her that "stupid girls came in the store giggling" while I was paying for my water. What the fuck? This also confused me quite a bit, I didn't understand what we did wrong and I still don't understand to this day. Won't be returning. read more
