When I called to return an item I had to call and leave messages multiple times over a week until my salesperson called me back. No problem getting called to take my payment, they were right on that. But any service is terrible. He arrived at 11:30, very courteous and professional got to work right away. He figured out the tension on the spring was wrong and that's why the wire wouldn't stay put. He fixed that, he also fixed the wiring to the garage door opening mechanism that was a bit of a hack job from someone having done the installation on the door themselves. He cleaned it up for us and everything is working great! Did advise that the door likely wouldn't hold up long term (not because of his fixes, just the original cheap DIY install) He gave us a 1 year warranty on his work and the price was so so reasonable, I thought it would be much more expensive. I will definitely be calling again when we are ready to replace the door completely!

We had new windows put in our home by Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding by their New Bern NC…read morebranch. It was a nightmare. I should have cancelled the project when they came out FIVE times to measure for windows by several different people. I thought they were being thorough but it actually meant they had NO IDEA how to measure. Well now we've spent months arguing with them about the windows not being the appropriate size because after they installed them, my siding DID NOT fit. They are literally off by 1-2 inches. The project manager's explanation was that "sometimes that happens" which was utter BS because I'm quite confident he knew he messed up royally and didn't want to have to deal with it. He said they would not replace all the windows. We had another contractor come out and pull the window apart and basically said it was wrong and he measured them all wrong. I even questioned him during the installation when two of the windows were grossly undersized and they didn't nail one side of the windows to the house, so he used spray foam to fill in the gap and drilled screws through the side of the frame and said that's how you fix it. They also did a horrific job of installing an exterior door which they came back and fixed. Well they came and replaced those two windows. Josh had them to agree to fix 13 more but we are over it & i dont need mis-matched windows all over. So we decided we would just have to reside the entire house because it's hurricane season and I've got siding loose around every window. We consulted an attorney who we can't afford, with 3k retainer and 300 an hour (and an unknown amount of hours it would take) and their home office is in Ohio so we'd have to probably get another attorney in Ohio for that with no guarantee we'd ever see any money from them for their epic failure. To top it off it's a Veteran Owned Company who totally screwed over two veterans. So lesson learned and do NOT recommend Freedom Roofing Windows and Siding out of New Bern NC for any jobs!

I am currently trying to work through BBB because Ty will not return calls and will not commit to a time for repair. He did send a workman 1st and then he came himself to paint the ceiling, but neither came prepared with a drop cloth or enough sealant to cover the stain.
