I stopped by Spikey Ty for take out dinner while I was in Coral Springs for the weekend, and was happy with the taste and temperature of my two entrees. The staff were very nice, and service was prompt. The inside of the restaurant was charming, and if it wasn't so late (I ordered 30 minutes before closing) I'd probably enjoy dining in. I tried their Orange Tofu (fried tofu in orange sauce) with brown rice and Chicken Pad Thai, both seasoned well and delicious. Highly recommend!

This Chinese restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere, even though the space is small, the tables are large and the seats are comfortable. Everything here is very clean, especially the kitchen, all the appliances are stainless steel and sterilized, the bathroom is cleaned every time someone uses it (This is impressive) And about the food... I have nothing to complain about, the waitress was super polite and careful.

Filthy. Go see for yourself. Bathrooms are disgusting and include dead bugs and lots of dirt. Entire restaurant is dusty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Wonder what the kitchen looks like?

Initially tried this place because it is close to my house, the first time I went I got a sushi roll and the Singapore noodles. The sushi was okay, but it was the Singapore noodles that got me hooked! I probably order them 1 time a week now. Always quick and friendly service!

Average, at best but pricey so I don't recommend. They didn't even give me the correct food.

When I saw the yelp reviews, I was super excited to try this place out. My mom and I came around 6:30ish tonight (Friday night) and the place was completely empty. We were immediately greeted and told to pick any table we wanted. There were 5 4-top tables inside the restaurant as well as counter seating, however, it doesn't seem they use the counters for serving as they were full of to-go orders and other things. I'm sure if they were full they would make room. The place is nice and homey and decorated super cute. It's a small restaurant but comfortable. By the time we were finishing up all the tables were full and it was still a reasonable volume. Our server was the nicest woman ever! She was super attentive even while taking care of every single table in the restaurant. She was extremely nice and super helpful. There's not one bad thing to say about her. We decided to order the sashimi appetizer, the miso soup, the paradise roll, and 6 pieces of sushi from the a la carte menu as well as a small side of fried rice. We also got one of the cold sake bottles and a glass of the house white wine (Chardonnay). First, the sake bottle was so cute it was pink and our server placed it in a wine cooler type thing to keep it cold. My wine glass was huge and filled to the top! It was more like 2-3 glasses of wine rather than 1 which I loved! As for the food, my favorite dishes were the fried rice, the paradise roll, and the miso soup. The sashimi appetizer was good, however, the fish was slightly fishy tasting which in my mind means it's not as fresh as it could be. It was still good just tasted slightly off than what I'm used to. As for my a la carte sushi pieces I got the salmon, tuna, ika, ebi, octopus, and tamago. I have a few things to mention regarding these pieces. First of all, I know some people may say this is a weird thing to complain about but the fish pieces were far too large. Compared to the amount of rice, the fish pieces were overtaking the rice. Second, some of the pieces of fish again tasted not as fresh as they could be, with some of the fish being so tough I couldn't even chew it (specifically the squid and the octopus). These fish are supposed to be like butter from experience. All in all, I had a great experience and the food was overall really good, just not sure if I would order sushi again next time. I feel like I'll try out the Thai food menu next.

Thai Curry Restaurant is such a hidden gem in Tamarac!…read more I treated my FIL and husband to Thai food during our Thanksgiving weekend visit. There was plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately and sat down at a clean table. We all ordered a Thai tea which was incredibly reasonably priced at only $3.50 a glass. My FIL and I also ordered a Tom Kha soup (his had shrimp, mine was chicken). He ordered cashew nut sauce with pork, my husband ordered tofu basil noodles, and I ordered tofu Massaman curry. Everything tasted great and my Massaman curry was one of the best I've ever had! It was different with sweet potato in it but the sauce was so flavorful. We all enjoyed our meals and had enough to take home. I spent (with tip), less than $80 for all of us to have 2 meals each. The portions are big enough to have a second meal! The staff here are all very nice and quick, too. We didn't have any issues with our orders and they were very attentive. Thai Curry Restaurant...5 stars!

I've had a few dry versions from other places before, but this one was perfectly saucy without being soggy. The balance was just right: a generous amount of shrimp, flavorful sauce, scrambled egg, crisp bean sprouts, and just the right sprinkle of peanuts. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I'll definitely be ordering again and would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a solid Pad Thai fix!

Boca Raton can be... polite…read more Safe. Predictable. A place where flavor sometimes shows up wearing loafers. And then there's Chow Thai Cuisine, which kicks the door in and reminds you that spice is not a suggestion -- it's a lifestyle. Let's begin with the Tom Kha Gai. This soup isn't comfort. It's therapy with a PhD. Coconut milk silky enough to calm your nervous system. Galangal and lemongrass punching through like they have something to prove. Lime snapping you back to attention. It's hot, bright, layered -- the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-sentence and just nod. Fire. Absolute fire. Then came the Spicy Virgin Chicken -- and whoever named it that undersold it. This thing was off the chain. Bold heat. Real heat. Not Florida "mild but we call it spicy." The kind of balanced burn that builds instead of bludgeons. Flavor first. Heat second. Respect maintained. You can tell when a kitchen knows what it's doing. This one does. And here's the real test -- the only test that matters: Would we come back? Not "maybe." Not "if we're in the area." Not "with a coupon." Yes. Without hesitation. The Thai tea deserves its own paragraph. Creamy, sweet, but with this subtle floral undertone that sneaks in at the end like a quiet encore. It doesn't scream. It lingers. It knows exactly what it's doing. Now the tragedy. I didn't order the spring rolls. Why? Because I ran out of stomach. Which is both a failure and a victory -- because now I have a reason to return. And I will. The decor? Unexpectedly transportive. You walk in and it feels like you left Boca for a minute. Warm lighting, layered textures, a quiet otherworldly vibe. Not cheesy. Not forced. Just enough to shift your mood. Some restaurants serve food. Chow Thai serves intention.
