I will say the only odd parts were that the katsu came grilled? typically it's breaded, but not in this case. and the wonton was very salty, so salty you couldn't taste what kind of broth it was. We have ordered party boats numerous times, and all of our guests rant and rave over every bite! Prices are fair and we have never bit into anything that didn't taste great. Glad they are near by. We have purchased several times a large sushi boat for get togethers. They are beautiful, creative and everyone is always impressed with the display. I ordered a spicy tuna salad and crab pockets for app. The iceberg lettuce doesn't look like much, but it worked well with this recipe. The whole salad was drizzled with some sort of chili oil that put the "spicy" in it. There was some wakame mixed in too. The crab pockets were uniquely served with something that tasted like a sweet mayo, instead of a red sweet and sour sauce that most places do. These actually tasted and had texture to crab (idk if it was imitation or not). Very good. For main I got the Peanut Chicken, which is battered chicken pieces deep fried and tossed in a peanut sauce. The chicken was cooked well- not soggy, nor overdone. The peanut sauce hit the sauce. Overall a great meal. The couple who owns it are very nice people. This will be my neighborhood go-to. read more

My husband got the pad thai the other day and it was not edible. How can you mess up pad thai?! The Chinese food was ok if you stick with veggie ones. Let's talk about service. I ordered delivery one day and 3 days later I noticed they charged me duplicate with different amount. The "manager" dodged my calls multiple times and it literally took me 4 days of phone tag before they would issue me the refund (which was mistake on their part). I didn't like this place as much as I wish I wanted to. My friend and I split the lunch special sesame chicken, which was great, and 2 rolls. The chicken was lightly breaded breast meat and had a very good sauce on it. The rolls weren't tightly packed so they were loose and fell apart, and the seaweed was very chewy. They focus on sushi, I would never consider ordering sushi here or at another takeout place. We ordered Hot and Sour soup. Sufficiently peppery, all vegetarian prep, lots of tofu, a lot of black fungus mushroom, no pork. Had red bell pepper in it, I wish they said so on the menu because I'm not a fan and would have ordered it without. By the way, there is no pork at all on the menu unless it is Chinese roast pork and it is used in an appetizer, egg foo young, noodles or the ribs. They don't have the kind of pork for stir fry/wok dishes used in Thai or Chinese cuisine. They have menu sections for beef, chicken and shrimp. No pork. It's only the most important animal protein in Asia, let alone in Thai and Chinese culture, but ok. My wife ordered a Basil Beef from the Thai section. Beef was tough and gristly. Virtually no basil in it. The veg (mostly zucchini and bell pepper) were fresh, but really no sauce in it, was like a dry stir fry. I decided to go to the small Chinese-Am section thinking they would do a good job with the ownership being Cantonese -- so I ordered a benchmark dish, Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. The patties themselves are good, heavy on onions. The sauce however is disgusting, the flavor on the stock they used was off with a weird seasoning, I think a Chinese 5 spice, perhaps too much of it. Gravy is of the flour thickened variety and it came super thick and lumpy, it should have been blended in. Waste of a meal. Pissed. Do not waste your time. Much better options in the immediate area. Which is basically a crap shoot. This is the second time they have not prepared this dish correctly. There are supposed to be no green peppers. Only red. It's all green peppers. Which I detest.
