three fried spring rolls on a white plate

Slightly below average Chinese American fare. The chicken skewers were alright, but I thought were average at best. Egg Rolls were halfway ok. The Egg Drop & Wonton mixed soup is below average, if there aren't roast pork strips or scallions this to me is seen is doing enough just to get by. The Sweet & Sour chicken was average. Nothing memorable at all. Will I come back? I mean if I'm forced to but I don't see that happening bro lo.

NEW FAMILY FAVORITE ALERT…read more My family and I love Mediterranean cuisine and this restaurant is officially a go-to. We started with several appetizers including spinach pies, falafel, and the Hommous sampler. The falafel was crisp and packed with flavor! I can't recommend the toum (garlic dip) enough. I would put this spread on anything! Another standout that we were all pleasantly surprised was their fries! These are the crispiest, most delicious side dish. Don't skip them. For dinner we had their moussaka and shish combo. The lamb, chicken, and kabobs were perfectly cooked- so flavorful and juicy! For dessert we had their bread pudding and Dubai chocolate brownie that came recommended from our waitress. Definitely enough to share and very decadent. Lastly, I want to compliment the service. Our drinks were always full, food came out altogether, and they took the time to explain various dishes and how they differ from the typical Mediterranean dishes. Our waitress was an absolute delight!

They are located right next to Publix, plenty of parking and the restaurant has a very cozy and beautiful indoor interior. The employees were very friendly and welcoming, our waiter explained the menu and gave us recommendations. We ordered few small items and everything was fresh and flavourful... but I had a very big surprise about my favourite Tabbouleh salad. I always order this salad in many different states and countries and I love it. This was the only time I couldn't eat it. It was just way too much green onion in it (really competing with parsley). Like tons and large crunchy pieces of green onion. I took the salad home hoping my husband would eat it but he said "This is green onion Tabbouleh, not parsley". So yeah, that's my only disappointment here. Maybe it was the only time they made it like that by accident.. or maybe that's their ratio recipe, I wasn't sure. The Lentil soup was delicious! Also my friend's dish - the lamb and roasted veggies were pretty good. I would love to come back and try another dishes, their famous tea and/or coffee.

This is a solid spot if you are looking for a fun dinner and lively atmosphere perfect for group dinners and birthdays. You can choose BBQ, hot pot or both. We chose the hot pot and was surprised how fast the grill heats up. For the broth, I chose chicken but they have other broths like miso, seafood and tomato. You can add flavor by adding sauce from the well stocked sauce bar. Build your own with items from the seafood/protein station, veggie, noodle and dessert. All fresh and all food items are labeled. Prices range from $30-$40 depending on lunch or dinner time. Be mindful not to waste food and serve what you will eat. They do charge $13 for wasted food. Overall excellent experience and will definitely be back.

KPOT is a buffet style Korean BBQ restaurant that offers Korean bbq and/or hot pot for a set price. All you eat with a variety of meats and seafood and veggies and all the fixings with even hot prepared foods. Whether you want to grill or drop items in a hot pot, you'll be sure of have a great experience. The place is clean and organized and the service staff are friendly and quick on their feet. All the buffet items look fresh and neatly organized and labeled. The prepared foods was on the colder side on my visit and not hot as it should be. We did the hot pot and they offer a variety do different broth styles to chose from as my go to is always the tom yum flavor. The new chicken broth we also got was very flavorful with special herbs and spices. I wish they would offer to put more broth in during the meal as they usually offer to at other locations, as the broth got low and became harder to cook your items. On weekends, be advised that it's a same set price for lunch and diner and some times say "dinner only item" but if there for lunch you can consume as you'll still be charged the dinner price so don't be shy and enjoy .... Just wish they would tell you this in advance as thinking we would be charged for lunch price on the weekend and stayed away from the dinner items come to find out we were charged for dinner anyways and could have consumed some marked dinner items. Labeling system should be revised or taken down to avoid any confusion. Overall, great value with great selections and a great meal concept to enjoy a nice socializing experience as you eat!

At one point Yelp even had them listed as closed but now I see that they are listed as being open again. I ended up visiting Valecias for a friends Saturday night birthday party. I walked in at 9 PM and it was pretty much dead. There were a few patrons at the bar and it was very quiet. Our party had a small raised area with couches above the dance floor which provided comfortable seating. Later on in the evening there was a DJ and things were a little more lively but not by much. I checked out the menu and it seemed very expensive so I stuck to the party wings and fries. Some of the guests got drinks at the bar. The party was still going strong when I left at 1 AM. I honestly didn't know there was any place in Margate that was open past 11. I am not sure how long they can stay in business with so few people but for now they are definitely open at night and there are a few people who come in to sit at the bar in addition to whatever parties they are hosting.

They have a ton of fresh ingredients, so many protein choices, and the whole ordering process was super easy. It's one of those spots where you can actually customize exactly what you want without it feeling complicated. Everything was pretty clean and the overall setup is great. I genuinely want this place to do well because it's such a good concept. I do have two small pieces of constructive feedback -- and I'm only sharing because they're simple fixes that would dramatically improve the experience: 1. The trash can situation. Right now it's a small pop-top lid that you have to physically push down with your hand. When customers are bussing their own dishes, it ends up feeling messy and unsanitary. A larger open-top trash can (or foot pedal style) would be such an easy upgrade and would instantly make the space feel cleaner. 2. The women's restroom needs a hook or small shelf for purses. There's currently nowhere to set anything down, and it didn't feel as clean as the dining area. Even a simple wall hook would completely change that experience. Again, sharing this because I think this place has so much potential and I'd absolutely come back. With a couple small tweaks, it would be a 10/10.

They were busy inside making numerous food orders. We decided on the Sunset and Tuna wraps. The food was very fresh and tasty. The tuna was perfect for me as it wasn't drowned in mayo, there was nice balance to it. We were given complimentary soups with our wraps. The soup of the day was sweet potato. It too was very fresh tasting and delicious. They also had banana bread at the register that I couldn't resist. The price was very fair for the quality of the food you get. We will definitely be eating here again in the near future.

Breakfast with toddlers is less of a meal and more of a competitive sport…read more That's how we found ourselves at TooJay's Deli with our year and a half old grandsons. And right out of the gate, I'll say this place is very kid friendly. Because about ten minutes in, the boys began conducting what can only be described as a gravity experiment with anything within arm's reach. Our waitress handled it like a seasoned professional. Calm, patient, helpful, and completely unfazed as items occasionally achieved flight status. Her attitude alone set the tone for a really pleasant experience. Now the plot twist. The service was excellent. The food was... a little more complicated. My son and I started with the matzoh ball soup. It was good, but not quite in the same league as my wife's homemade version. The matzoh ball itself was dense, which I actually like. The broth, though, could have used a little more salt. Still good. Just not legendary. Meanwhile the boys were devouring pancakes with the focus of two tiny professional athletes. I didn't get a bite, but judging by the speed at which those pancakes disappeared, I'm comfortable saying they must have been very good. Then came my plate. Scrambled eggs with French fries and a bagel. Another small twist. The bagel was very good. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. Exactly what you want. The eggs though? They told a different story. A basic breakfast staple that looked like they hit the pan at a little too much heat. Still edible, just not the soft scramble you hope for. My wife ordered the cheese blintzes and reported they were very good. My mom enjoyed her eggs as well, which added another small twist to the table conversation. Sometimes the food is the headliner. Sometimes the experience is. Today the grandsons and the waitress stole the show. Between the kid friendly atmosphere, the fantastic service, and some solid menu items, this visit lands at four stars. If three and a half stars existed, that might be the precise score for the food alone. But our waitress lifted the whole experience. And when you're dining with toddlers conducting airborne physics experiments, that kind of service deserves some extra credit.
