Being in an Airbnb and having limited access to be able to make my own and speaking with the guys working the counter Wes said, "I'll make you one." Really, are you serious? Yes, he took time out of his day to make me a HOMEMADE chicken pot pie. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the meat, and the fabulous service I have received every time I have gone in here. The pot pie is in the oven as I write this. I also picked up a homemade pecan pie that had my name on it as well. If you are ever in the area and need good quality meat, homemade soups, and great service. This is the place!

When I walked into the store, I found a whole lot more! Tons of really neat things in the store, including: buffalo jerkey (Kippered), buffalo steaks, ground buffalo, chicken, beef, ox tails, beef bacon, pork bacon, buffalo hot dogs, and a WHOLE lot more! I was there mainly for one thing - Kippered Buffalo Jerkey. The packages are sold $10.30/lb and in 1 lb bags that are vaccum sealed. I ended up getting 10+ of the bags to give away as gifts to friends and family back home. There is a store front full of freezers in the front. In the back of the store there are freezers/fridgerators and a preparation window. Everyone in the store was super friendly and helpful! Truly a gem of South Dakota!
