I've been a patient here for at least 3 months. I'm on appointment 22 so far. I came in because I was experiencing major back pain. I see Dr. Johnson. There are 2 doctors specializing in Nucca chiropractic techniques at this location. If for some reason you couldn't see your original practitioner, the other one would handle your appointment. This is nice. The location is near Pecos and Russell Road with ample safe parking around the building. I love that the doctors partner with a massage therapist in an adjoining suite. Her name is Anne and I've used her services several times. The staff assistants are super nice. There is Crystal, Diana, and Larissa. They are all personable and professional. They keep check-in and rotation going smoothly. I've witnessed consistent timeliness with the appointments. The staff clean the equipment and tables after every patient has their services. The environment is respectful and also cheerful at the same time. Dr. Johnson prescribed mobility exercises that were safe throughout my treatment. I've recently started working out at a gym again. This was at the end of my 20th session. I attend water aerobics, gentle yoga, and group dance classes on rotation throughout the week. I'm happy to know that I'm getting my life back and that I have the support of the office to keep me going. I've been a patient of Dr. Sarah Johnson at Spine Wellness Center three times now for three different issues, and I must say that Dr. Johnson is outstanding. Two of my three injuries were debilitating life altering issues. In each case, Dr. Johnson resolved the issue, and twice gave me my normal mobility back, and essentially the life I was used to up to that point. Dr. Johnson is very thorough, a great listener, and explains all the options available, and once a course of action is decided upon, explains exactly what to expect. I've never once had to wonder about any aspect of my treatment. Dr. Johnson's office staff, and techs are excellent as well. They are very helpful, and organized. I've never had an issue with anything concerning their side of the house. Amazing! I went here initially to appease my husband because he saw something on Instagram from a similar specialist in Florida in regards to treatment for tinnitus, which I have suffered from for many years and which was getting progressively worse. I did not hold high hopes that it would help, but I am extremely happy to say that it did! Well, my tinnitus is not gone, it is so much quieter and more manageable now. It really is amazing. I can only give 3 stars since I did not return after my initial visit. I am writing this review for those seeking care to be aware that this facility does not take many insurances and when you ask they have very articulate answers to keep you from not coming in. If your not paying your co-pay you usually pay, your insurance is likely not accepted. If you want x-rays prepare to pay $290, where as you can usually go to a chiropractor that accepts your insurance and x-rays are usually covered or generally the same amount as your co-pay. From what I gathered their scheduling and payment structure is the same as Advanced Spine & Posture where your insurance may or may not cover all/some of your projected expenses so you must be prepared to pay out of pocket $3-$5k for X amount of visits. And they usually want the money up front, not as you come in. "I'd be precautious of pre-paid chiropractor care", another trusted chiropractor in Henderson told me. Now if you absolutely need the services they provide here and can afford whatever your treatment requires, then I'd absolutely try them out as both Doctors are professional ,awarded, and recognized for the treatments they specialize in. However, if you need to leverage your insurance to get the care you need and don't have thousands of dollars to spend for X amount of visits, I'd seek care elsewhere. read more

I went one time, had a bad experience and Lisa Strickland ripped me off. There has not been any return call to resolve the problem since she simply doesn't care about her patients. She didn't listen to my health concerns during my assessment and didn't finish her job. She kept stating it was the end of the day and she was tired and not feeling it that day. It was a scheduled time in the early afternoon that was set up by the office, not me. She only wanted to treat one area of the spine when the issues were in 2 areas. Ever heard of a chiropractor only treating one area and not the entire spine? Me neither. I went elsewhere and prepaid for 60 visits. What a waste of time and money. She also didn't finish her exam that I paid for, no adjustment, had me wait over a week to come back to finish her job for that day. I never went back. Buyer beware. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I came here after a debilitating back injury (and I mean debilitating - I was flat on my back in the hospital for three days). Dr. Sarah Johnson and Dr. Lisa Strickland not only got me walking normally very quickly again, but my range of motion returned within days instead of the months that the doctors had estimated. NUCCA is an Upper Cervical chiropractic method that is gentle and non-invasive. It's not the normal "snap and crack" you might be picturing in your head. It was easy to make an appointment and be seen within a short matter of time. If you are seriously hurt - your back, neck, etc - they want to see you ASAP. These doctors actually care about you as an individual - lack of money or no insurance should not deter you from coming in. I highly recommend this office to anyone. read more

I am so thankful for Dr. Lisa Strickland. I had 16 years of continuous pain after breaking two vertebrae (T12 & L1), every minute of every day was pain, I tried everything from regular chiropractors to physical therapy to massage.....Nothing helped! I was desperate and was referred to Dr. Lisa from a co-worker. I must say, after the first adjustment, I had no intention to return because it hardly felt like she did anything (I was used to cracking and pushing from the other kind of Chiropractors).... but she told me I'd feel pain that evening ("a healing crisis") and that is normal and I should put ice on it as soon as I got home. I honestly thought it was a joke. But not 5 minutes later, driving down the street, I felt exactly what she explained! I couldn't believe that minor gentle adjustment could have done that! So I went back and followed the plan she gave me exactly. I started noticing relief within the first month like I hadn't felt before. And after a few months, I was pain free!!!!! Pain free for the first time in 16 years!! I can't thank Dr. Lisa enough. Now, I only go in for my maintenance visit about once every 5 months or so.
