Both had some minor mechanical issues (mainly with the canopies falling apart because the hardware was loose). The on/off switch on one of the scooters started failing after a few days - turning the key to the of position did nothing, the scooter remained powered up. Then the switch failed completely - the dash indicators showed that it was powered on, but the scooter wouldn't move. I had to push the thing up a ramp for about 50 feet - this was a challenge at I'm disabled hence why I needed that scooter in the first place. NEVER AGAIN will I rent from this company.

Stores do a poor job of making sure their battery cells are still good. I just got back from Disney World. My wife rented me a Victory 10 3 wheel scooter from GMS. The battery meter has 2 red lines, 3 orange lines, and 5 green lines. During the seven days we were there, I never used more than two green lines. Six nights I only used 1 green line. I am extremely impressed with the Victory 10 3-wheel mobility scooter I got from GMS. Other places may not do as good of maintenance to make sure their battery cells hold capacity. I'm confident GMS tests those regularly. The drop off and pick up service was easy, the person was very nice. I cannot speak on price because my wife is the one that rented the scooter. But you can be confident that the battery will hold if you get it from GMS. We will use them again.

The email says that they'll call you to finalize and collect payment. When I called the next day to confirm, they didn't have any scooters available for the date and time I'd chosen! The website did say to call and not use the online form if the desired rental was less than 48 hours away, but this didn't apply in my case. The website/ follow-up email needs to be much clearer that you're not making a reservation, just requesting a potential date and time that you might like to have a reservation. It looked very much like I had successfully reserved a scooter, but it turns out I hadn't. They were very polite and apologetic, and gave me some numbers of other places to rent scooters, one of which (Best Price) was able to help. Thank goodness!

The price was good but reading over the reviews for Yellow Scooter gave me pause. Since it was only for three days I decided to take my chances. They delivered the scooter to my resort after messaging me trying to come later than originally scheduled. We compromised on a time. Upon delivery the scooter looked nothing like the one pictured on-line. It was rather beat up and the tires had seen better days. The delivery was very rushed with the delivery man not explaining anything. The scooter was fully charged which was good and it seemed to work fine. The next morning when I went to turn the scooter on the key snapped off! I was panicked until I realized I could still turn it on so rather than go through the hassle of getting a new one, we just went to the park. The scooter held a charge great the first day and a little less so the next day. When we turned it in we told them about the key and the delivery man didn't really comment. A few days later I got an email that they were charging me an extra $50 fir damage snd key removal. I guess I should have pulled it out myself. Whatever, I'll never use them again.
